  • "Bras monkey the biggest nerds on the block They have 5 body guards outside and have like 6 inside lol and are so touchy if you step on the white line, can’t stand by the restroom for 5 seconds until a body guard starts pushing you out the way I’ve been to multiple clubs from different states and I’ve never been in a club with body guards that are so touchy like brass monkey Let me tell you, it’s not always pretty for body guards to be so handsy with drunk people who are literally being pushed and forced to be mushed into a crowd when they are just trying to stand around and drink and chat with their friends/family I was standing by the restroom with my boyfriend for a few second to hang him my jacket and wallet so I can go to the restroom and a body guard was already there to tell us to move It’s impossible to actually enjoy your time without a body guard touching you to step out their way Probably the most uncomfortable club I’ve ever been in"

The $10 card minimum is absurd. Do you know how unbelievably miniscule debit/credit card merchant fees are these days? The rates have gotten so trivial that most places have even done away with $5 card minimums. In reality there are incentives for merchants to encourage card swipes, as customers will spend more to get their card's cashback/rewards bonuses. Anyways I did not tip the bar staff, and until they do away with that $10 minimum, I will continue to not tip the bar staff, seeing as how the place is making more than enough profit to pay their staff a livable salary by charging $10 for one beer. If that's the only way you guys can pull a profit with hundreds of customers every Friday night, your owner's financially inept.

I agree with what the other reviewer posted on here. Security guy (who’s obviously a failed cop) acts like Gestapo, throwing away, legal vapes and coming up with arbitrary reasons as to why you are not allowed in. Once inside, you’re not allowed to stand anywhere near the bar, even if it’s practically empty. Drinks aren’t that expensive however, you’re required to buy a certain amount if you’re using a debit or credit card. The music inside is typically top 40s, so nothing spectacular. My experience here is almost a polar opposite, compared to bars in Houston, which are far more inclusive, and relaxed on rules and policies. The venue is actually nice, it’s just the owners/management that has to go.

I don’t usually write reviews but here I am. I’ve been twice. First time was cool and by that I mean, no hassle or anything that made you second guess. Second time, on a Saturday night I was forced to wear a bandaid over my neck tattoo (an acronym) to get in. Asked the guy what the reason was. “It’s policy” was all he said. He wasn’t necessarily rude but wasn’t being any sort of helpful with a thorough explanation. Don’t think it won’t keep me from going, but definitely deserves a one star for such an outlandish rule and lack of clarity. Can only imagine what they’d tell someone with a fully tatted neck

. I waited about 10 or 15 minutes to get to the club and once we reached the entrance the security guard told my fiancé he would have to put Band-Aids all his face or we wouldn’t be allowed to come in to the club because he has tattoos on his arms, neck, and face which was pretty odd because we had just visited the night before and everything was fine not quite sure what shifted, but it seems like they definitely discriminate. Lol and surprisingly such strict rules for a club with no dress code and serves drinks from a plastic cup LOL.

Went yesterday was turned away for having a vape. In 2023. At an outdoor bar. The time before I was bait and switched by the scammy bartender. I had a ranch water that was $4. Went for another the bartender waved a bottle of patron when I asked for another ranch water. I said sure thinking it would be the same, he then proceeded to charge $44 for 2 tequila ranch waters smh. If you like cocktail bar prices at a place that smells like urine and has a bunch of police academy flunkies at the door then this is your place.

So on 1/14/22 i tried using my paper id and they didn’t accept it but they let my little sis (20 years old) get in. The bouncer wouldn’t let me get in 25 years old cause I had a paper ID but my sis using a fake id (only 20 years old ) got in. That’s the real tea they’re not ready for haha. Btw airports and police officers will accept paper IDs. The bouncer was very aggressive when I wanted an explanation, it looked like he had some anger issues and wanted to throw a punch. I have not gone back since then, there are many more classy and friendlier places :)

The management here is run like the gestapo . I had to give the bartender my id to keep an opened tab, even with a credit card. I decided to pay with cash because of the inconvenience. I was asked to step away from the bar while taking shots even tho it was dead at 9:30 on a Saturday . There is constant surveillance and body guards everywhere. I’m not sure if this place is safe. Place is cheap but it’s not worth the hassle. They made my friend throw away her LEGAL vape.also they will not give you tap water they will force you to buy a bottle

If I could give them a 0 I would. I had the worse time here. A fight started in line and the sercuity pepper sprayed him and it got on everyone’s face. I started crying so hard and begged them to let me in to go to the restroom to watch my face or give me a paper towel. The owner refused and told me I wasn’t allowed to go in for the rest of the night because I was “causing a problem”. He even put his hands on me and started pushing me claiming he was “old school” and could hit a women.

This was quite literally the worst bar I have ever been to. First of all they have extremely invasive security where male workers were giving a pat down to only certain people in line. Very uncomfortable, then the security proceeded to throw away several items out of our bags including labeled advil. When we finally made it in we were continually harassed by staff for simple things including waiting in line for the bar. Extremely overcrowded with bad music- not worth your time.

I parked waiting to buy food from a food truck near by and I am convinced Brass Monkey is in on all the car towing. In like 15 minutes I saw like 6 cars getting towed. The security officers carding people to go in should tell guest not to park across the street. if there is plenty of parking and seems like great parking DO NOT PARK! YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED IN MINUTES!

Way to overcrowded no control security is a coward. They take the cheap way out instead of trying to resolve issues. Y’all are a bar that used to be the greatest bar now y’all just are . no good quit trying to overpack to make up for money you’ll get it in time

Kyle(Gizmo)was a great bartender! Went there for Halloween night, he kept us hydrated and entertained! The place is great, lots of room and the entry is open so you can smoke. Great location and lots of room to dance. Cheers! -the dude dressed as Jiraiya

New look is nice. But when the bartenders says, want a double then pour me 4 count..then charge me more than the river walk..plus yalls alcohol seems diluted...your 1800 anejo didn't look like anejo.i wonder with all yalls clear alcohol.

The bartenders trained to waive you down at the bar, it’s so awkward and desperate. Service is chaotic and employees are rude. Thumbs down to who ever is training the staff and hiring.

Way over priced! $8.00 for captain Morgan and coke in a small plastic cup! You can buy a bottle for $18.00 at Specs and this place is charging $8.00 a drink! No thanks ! I’ll drink at home!

Fun music, lots of space to dance and opportunities for pictures (if that’s your vibe). It was a little too hot inside.
