I don't know if this is the right place to put this but ... I just want to give five stars to the folk who answer my BCC '8888' phone calls. They've always been polite, friendly and super helpful. They always find who you need to speak to when you need to be transferred, or reliably pass on information if that's required. The treatment and the response from the people you are connected to is just as good. I ring '8888' with great confidence, so, whatever else, thank you for your excellent 'four-eights' service. ☎️.

I am appalled at the continued lack of professionalism at Brisbane City Council (BCC). Their mantra is wear the resident down by never returning calls so they give up. It is demoralising and there is no accountability to ever improve. The council are meant to be there for the community. This is not the case.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They will answer your dumb questions, but often with dumb answers because all of our governments are doing dumb things.
