I have been going to this shop for over 10 years, they had the best chips in melton. I don’t live near the shop, but always went pass other fish’n’chip shops to get to this one. But sadly Good Friday’s oder was shocking. The potato cake was so hard I smashed it on the bench , it cracked open there was no potatoe. The fish bites were the smallest I have seen in a long time. The chips were crunchy but there was not much potatoe in the chip either Then the prawn cutlet’s batter was undercooked. Sorry to see this happen to the shop. Won’t be going back there

Ordered over $90 worth of food from them food was good apart from one burger with the lot that i had asked to have mustard and tomato sauce on it the mustard that they used on the burger was old English which made the burger smell and taste horrible after ringing and asking if it was possible to get a new burger remade as this burger is disgusting both in taste and smell i was told I would have to pay for another $10 for another burger would usually buy from them but after this i will not be spending my money there customer service is very poor

Wish I could give less than one star. Really disappointing food! Fish was not fresh and cooked poorly. Wedges were soggy, over cooked and a waste of money. Apparently ordering sweet chilli sauce and sour cream with our wedges confused them greatly. Burger was eadible, souvlaki was the only decent bit of food we got. Looks like they have gone down hill majorly recently. I suggest avoiding them unless you like wasting money, my son summed it up by saying “I’d rather eat cardboard than this!”

Worst fish and chips I've ever had use to always come here growing up and was one of the best now its honestly horrible the past few times werent the best but what I just got was horrible my flake was so soggy and literally dripping in oil no crunch the had to wrap it in paper towel to dry it off will never come back here and whenever the phone is answered it makes you feel like you're ruining their day by calling with how unhappy they sound on the phone don't go here

Used to be good but not anymore, everything soggy and rubbery by the time I got it home 5 minutes away. Used to have the best chips, now they are dry and stale, I definitely do not recommend, hopefully they pick up their game and use better quality and clean oil, and the salt my God why sooo much salt, also their batter recipe needs to be evaluated. Really a big shame, used to be the best in Melton.

I’ve always had a wonderful experience with this place; especially since the new owners bought it. Then this evening. The take out was subpar at best. Our chicken nuggets were burnt to nearly black; the minimum chips was less than normal. Everything had a taste of old stale fryer oil. They do offer us a free 1.25l (I imagine due to the size of our order). This was quite a horrendous experience.

On my way to placement in Ballarat stumbled across this little milk bar.. The staff were great! They had a family atmosphere and made me feel welcome. The staff were attentive, I didn’t have to wait to be greeted they attended to me straight away. Best chips I’ve ever had in my life, I will definitely be back when in the area again. Keep up the great work guys!

Reem and her team at Brookfield Convenience are always attentive, friendly and vigilant. Stocked with a good variety of product with some of Victorias greatest seasoned chips! If you're hungry for a feed you can not go past the souvlaki! A strong local with strong potential to become your favourite. You should stop in if you get the opportunity to!

Tonight we ordered some chip to go with our dinner and they were horrible. Some were still frozen, very dry and the oil tasted really old. We usually use this fish n chip shop a lot. But tonight so disappointed ☹️

Went to Blackdog drive today for fish and chips, very nice and hot, just the dim sims need to be changed and husband loved the Burramundi bought one wished he had of bought 3, great service. Thanks guys definitely will be back.

A bit expensive compared to your average local supermarket but overall a good place for when you need some milk or drink quick

Always stop in for a burger or fish and chips on my way home. Lovely staff and customer service and value for money.
