Brown’s Cleaners in Beacon Hill has a new owner! The owner was previously located at the Brown’s Cleaner on Slater Rd which was near my work and had always provided an amazing service. I was disappointed to learn the news that the slater location was closing but excited when I saw him at my local Brown’s! I recently took some curtains to their new location and received an amazingly fast service! My curtains had to be altered as they were too long - not only did they tailor them to the perfect size but they were also dry cleaned! I would highly recommend this location for anyone who is looking to get some dry cleaning, tailoring and even help with electronics! You can expect the best service. I will be coming back to this location and telling all my friends and family about it.

I have been a customer for about 17 years. I have all my dry cleaning and alterations done here. Cleaning is of the highest professional quality. They provide advice on the best way to handle my clothing, with special attention to our pieces with elaborate ornamentation. Alterations are precise. They have a thorough knowledge of fabrics, style and design and provide innovative, stylish solutions to alterations. They are careful with expensive fabrics and are very good with leather cleaning and alterations. They are courteous, friendly and deliver when they say they will. On one occasion they searched all over the City for a replacement button for my jacket. There’s no better cleaner and alteration service in the City.

Last week one of my favourite silk blend skirts got absolutely ruined on a trip to the cottage. First the entire bottom of my skirt got smothered in undercoating grease, then my puppy thought the skirt was a toy and ripped it. I was devastated! I took it to Browns as a last Hail Mary, as none of my cleaning attempts worked. Wouldn't you know, I got it back a few days later and there's no sign of any grease! The rip was stitched up by their seamstress too. I'm so happy to have my skirt back in my wardrobe! Thanks Browns!

We use Brown's Cleaner's regularly both for my husband's dress shirts and for all of our "dry-clean only" garments. My husband's shirts are cleaned, pressed, and folded, ready for travel - something I am not capable of doing at home - at a reasonable price! Winter coats look new again, and special attention is given to stains: they were able to remove a "mystery" stain from my daughter's new winter coat! I brought in a beautiful jacket which had two terrible stains on the front. I didn’t think there was much hope, but followed the suggestion to use the special diamond cleaning service. I was absolutely amazed with the results.Not a stain to be seen and it looks like a new jacket. Although the diamond service was a little more expensive, it was definitely worth the extra cost. I recently moved to Ottawa and Browns is just around the corner from me. I’ve been bringing all my pants and shirts for alterations and dry cleaning over the past few months to a year and the customer service is unmatchable. RJ is always super helpful and efficient, I dropped off pants yesterday to get altered and received a call that it was ready today. 5/5 I would highly recommend.

I had a down jacket I brought in and a wool coat. This is my first time using dry cleaners so I asked the worker to help me see if I can get the coats dry cleaned. He said he can and will try his best. After getting the jackets back, I saw some stains still left on the coat and then my down jacket still had a smell + the magnetic buttons all were damaged. I was expecting much better.

This Brown’s recently changed ownership. The new owner and seamstress were formerly at a downtown location. They are both so wonderful that I now drive to this new location from downtown. Alterations are the best! Cell phone services are also excellent! Staff are professional and really care about their clients!

On-site alterations: Measurements are for chumps. Brought in several pairs f pants to have the in-seams hemmed up. Provided the measurement. Browns cut the legs too short by an inch or more. Hundreds of dollars in brand new pants ruined. Contacted Browns about it. They can't be bothered to respond.

Browns Cleaners customer service is amazing, I had a great experience, the conversation was very pleasant and professional, the service was fast and he explained everything i needed to know, he went above and beyond, I was very happy to go there, I strongly recommend Browns cleaners.

I brought in three set of curtains that I wanted cleaned before my move at the end of the month. I was worried about the short time but they made it work and I got my curtains back not only on time but early in the week. Their efforts was much appreciated. Thanks to the team!

Amazing service at Brown’s Cleaner. I took a couple of suits to get tailored and dry cleaned and I couldn’t be happier. The service was fantastic and the everything was done in a timely manner.

They do excellent work and the prices are fine, but their hours are nearly impossible for me. Especially when they sometimes just don't open on Saturday mornings without any sign or anything.
