"decent store, i know some of the staff personally , always up for a catch up chat with them as well as chat products with them, the staff generally are nice and friendly, parking is a bit of a mission , not a fan of the 2 building situation, might be easier to relocate into a better and bigger warehouse possibly ? stock is never what it says online , range is rather small compared to larger stores like thomastown and south morang, would recommend for the small trade or dyi jobs, larger jobs id recommend larger bunnings store as they have better ranges, or go to mitre 10 diamond creek as they're range might be average , but usually quality of stock is good , bunnings timber quality is usually below average, with framing timbers, being usually bowed , or twisted if not both at the same time, with the very rare straight timbers"
"This is my local store and I shop there a lot"
"Large Bunnings outlets are generally good Eltham Bunnings is a nightmare"
"That was the worst Bunnings I’ve ever been to, untrained staff, I was looking for a vacuum cleaner which according to their website they were the closest store that had it in stock , I asked the staff they said we don’t have it and after half an hour I found it myself on the shelf, and they didn’t match their clearance prices to other Bunnings, I purchased an item in box hill store for $20 on clearance section and in Eltham they sell it for $45 on promotion after I showed my power pass and receipt they refused to match the price with them, two Bunnings same product different price wow"
"They were great at first, had what I needed, and held them for me"

This is my local store and I shop there a lot. The paint and plant staff are great. Well informed and know what they are talking about. Behind the counters people are friendly and competent. But reading the reviews about helpfulness... I wonder if they are talking about another store. Not enough experienced people on the floor. Most of the younger staff I have talked too don't know a lot. It's very hard to get help..theres often a queue behind experienced staff. But you walk to the trade desk and there is a swarm of young employees standing..talking..looking their phones and doing nothing. I've in there enough times...and it's not a one off. The only people working are behind the trade desk.
Large Bunnings outlets are generally good Eltham Bunnings is a nightmare. With their trade department now over the road they could have and should use the former front delivery area to accommodate more customer parking .Why have someone at the front entrance greeting you and not doing much else.Service terrible and staff sometimes just rude. Some items not available as depicted on line heaps of items boxed damaged and some corridors not accessible .Staff spend alot of time just standing around .I have experienced all of this numerous times and not just a one off.Needs to make some major changes .

They were great at first, had what I needed, and held them for me. But then the server became rude when she didn't ask me if I had flybuys, so I returned what I just bought immediately after accidentally paying before realising myself. I had just heard the previous server asking the person before me and had the card ready, but when they don't ask and you're on 'auto pilot' and they say to pay, you just do. Server should have taken more responsibility and not been so rude when I took it upon myself to rectify the situation.
Nicole was so lovely helping me upgrade my desk with a piece of melamine, and paint desk staff are super helpful and informative. Lost a star for the the blonde girl at the door Sunday afternoon, I asked her nicely if she could help me with my trolley as I was carrying a massive piece of wood and instead pointed at the trolley bay and said “it’s just there” without moving from the front. No idea why she was put at the front if she is just going to be rude.
The staff are great always friendly and helpful. Product stock could be a little better but it is a smaller store. The carpark where does one start. They have 4 blocked off for click and collect now and on the other side disabled spots. I have witnessed people being told they can't park in the click and collect spots but have seen delivery trucks parked sideways taking up all of the disabled parking. Suggest you just go a 7am to avoid going insane.
Handy store not full range but most things, unfortunately staff were most unhelpful, when dropping off chlorine containers if they are out of stock you would leave your empty containers and receive a card to use when chlorine back in stock. However they were quite rude and said “you have to just take them home and bring back again next time” which doesn’t make sense, if done do in a friendly way it would be not so bad
The staff were friendly, and helpful. QR codes were everywhere at the front, so it was easy to check in and still have space between people. The sausage was good...its not what I was here for, but you can't just walk past that delicious smell, amiright?! Unfortunately the item we wanted said it was in stock online, but turned out to be a miscount and was not available. So I utilised my time buying plants instead.
The entire team I saw around the store didn't want to be there. I was lost and everyone avoided eye contact, no greeting on arrival, I caught up with one staff member and got the I can't be bothered level of response. All very strange for Bunnings, which normally have such happy, helpful and feelingly staff. I will avoid this store and travel a little further in future.
Tony helped me with my faulty Ryobi pressure washer. I purchased it it in December 2019. We talked about it being faulty vs it being not used correctly. Tony was able to replace my unit and send it back to the manufacturer. That’s great service. Particularly when the returns area was very busy. I appreciate your friendly and direct service. Thank you.
Asked a staff member where a product was - they spent 45 minutes jumping from staff to staff sending me to the wrong aisles in the store, kept saying they had stock but when we eventually found it on my 4-5th staff member they did not even have stock.... went to all things saftey wear up the road and they had it with excellent customer service.
Decent sized store (two sets of isles), so has a correspondingly decent range of products. The staff are always friendly and willing to help by actually taking you to the thing you are trying to find (rather than just pointing you in the general direction). Car park can be a bit frustrating. Small car park out the front, plenty underneath.
We purchase a drill online, but after a few minutes, they cancelled my order. the money was taken out of the account but now they don’t want to pay me back the almost $400 that I paid! Their online system is horrible and a big failure compared to everything else out there and I will never use it again, worst online experience
Smaller Bunnings but has recently been expanded so the range has improved. The staff are very helpful and even though it’s a small Bunnings it still carry’s a great and diverse range. Good outdoor plant area that is well looked after. Easy to park and quick to get into and out of easily.
I never feel good about going here, the whole place is a headache . From the carpark arrangement to the uneducated workers. Its never simple at this place most of the staff are rude rich kids who don't want to be there. That's what you get when a shop hires literally anyone.
Great selection and welcoming staff! Yet, none of the staff seemed to be able to direct me to what I needed. I also had to help an old lady find an azalea in the nursery as the crew there had sent her in three different directions. Probably time for a new bunnings.
Expert staff, good organise in the display. Usually, I find all that I need there, for painting, restoration wood, Matt for the floor, sterilisation products, masks, also i like that they have a booklet, to know everything about how to paint, and what you need.
I had given them 5 stars but sadly I changed it to 1 star due to worst bunnings customer service today, in the paints section. Guy called Abdul was rude, unprofessional and very un-Eltham like. I hope Bunnings will take customer service seriously.
Nearly always get what you need at good prices. Don't like self serve checkout though. On busy days, queue lines on SS are long as some people struggle with this checkout. I go to information or electrical to get proper and faster service …
Pretty good little Bunnings site, not 5 stars since often understaffed (staff who are there are great though) and its also a small space so missing a few bits. The new timber space across the road may allow for a better range of stock though
Terrible shopping experience at the moment. They have been renovating for two months, low or no stock levels in many items, and things are all over the place. Sill two months of rennos to go. Suggest going to Mitre 10 in Diamond Creek.
Returned an item brand new un opened so I could upgrade to a more professional one at a much higher cost to myself the lady serving at returns was very rude behaviour was Inappropriate management should look closely at these issues
Really poor shopping experience in recent months due to store refit (still ongoing). Staff seem stressed and disengaged. I've left every visit spending at least $30 less than usual due to lack of stock or unable to find anything.
Typical Bunnings difficult to navigate through isles with trolleys due to stock all over the place. Store not later out like all other stores making it a challenge to find stuff then only got to discover their out of stock!!
I had a problem with a purchased item and team member Tom provided an exemplary service. He helped me replace the item and also ended up putting the transaction through the register! Big up to five star Tom. Thank you.
Terrible bunnings. Layout unique to this store. Very confusing to park. Store had many sections closed off due to changing sections. Felt like an old BBC hardware store which had been poorly converted to a bunnings.
Unfortunately one of Bunning's smaller stores. Just doesn't carry the range of the bigger stores. Handy for an emergency, but I prefer to go to the Mernda or Epping stores even if it means a longer drive.
This Bunnings is great! We were building a bed frame in the back of our car and the experts there helped reassure us and answered every question we had! They even gave us free cuts from the wood we got!
Thanks so much to Jemma in the paint shop who took her time to ensure that the paint we got was the perfect color. Great customer service that delivers amazing results - what more can you ask for
It is a good Bunnings, well stocked and clean. Took one star off due to the parking...it isn't super easy to navigate in a van, compared to the usual Bunnings carparks which are generous.
A typical Bunnings. Lots of items but staff sometimes not available when you need them. If after 7pm, even less staff. Though the everything in one place situation is always useful :)
Plenty of stock of items and as always good prices. Sometimes quite hard to get hold of a staff member, but when you do they're normally very helpful. Regularly go in here for items.
lyn in the paint department at Bunnings Eltham was brilliant in matching a Colour for our house. lyn was patient with a good sense of colour. we commend her dedication to the job.
Love going to Bunnings Eltham and Doncaster on weekends. Always a hello when you walk in and they grab your sausage when you walk out. … l mean, l grab a sausage when I walk out!
Some of the staff give off unfriendly unwelcoming vibes , it's hard to get people to help you as some employees don't know their products. I only shop here as a last resort.
Helpful staff. Bought power pruners, was going to buy a battery, but staff showed that it is cheaper to buy a second tool that comes with power pack. Great service.
Friendly staff, just find this bunnings lacks in stock. Might just be the items I'm after. Recently expanded the building, hopefully they will have more of a range
Great range of hardware and tools. Kind of annoying that the trade area is across the road. Some staff are friendly but would be nice if they were more helpful.
when i asked for 8 inches of wood all they offered me was timber!!! i thought it was quite obvious what i meant but some people are just too conservative …
5 stars to Tony in the heavy gardening section. Mature, well mannered and a delight to talk to. He actually approached me to offer assistance. Made my day.
One of the smaller Bunnings. Has a reasonable range, but check on line first before going. One of the bigger Bunnings may have what you’re looking for.
The store is ok. But for tall vehicles, we either park in tight bays at the front of the store or side street. Very congested front entrance parking.
Available parking for a tradie is very average, through traffic lanes very narrow. I was not overly impressed by this aspect
Amazing work as always by Lyn and Anthony in the paint shop, going above and beyond with my complicated paint matches.
Great guy Anthony on the paint department you have outstanding patience to get the best colour we like thanks a lot
Some staff are great, some just cannot seem to be bothered assisting. Parking can be tricky and reality.
This store never has the item I'm looking for. I almost always have to go to another bunnings store.
There because the club had a sauage sizzle, Staff at bunnings were very friendly throughout the day.
It is a problem finding stuff. Staff are vague with answers. Isle 56. I think. Not good enough.
Large store with plenty of parking. Was my first visit so will get to know it better in time
Great range, friendly knowledgeable staff and clean store. Parking a little squishy though.
Large store with a fairly comprehensive stock. Service is normally good.
Staff were great , clean & tidy . Almost had everything we required
Reliable helpful enthusiastic service every time. Thank you …
Underground car park and way more, what don't they have
Not full range and front of store parking limited
Awesome staffs,superb ,helpful and cheerful.
Hard work to find someone to help you out…
Small store but still great!
