As this is my local store, I frequent here quite often. The store layout itself is almost an exact replica of all the other Bunnings stores, not much difference there. The Carpark is very accommodating, which is more than I unfortunately can say about most of the staff in store. In their defense however, it's mainly due to lack of experience as a direct result of their age, and So for any type of actual product advice, knowledge or general information, aside from, if your lucky the isle number of it's location, I'd suggest doing your own research at home beforehand. Even still, as with this store, as many of the other Bunnings, it's not often quickly you can locate a staff member readily available to offer any type of assistance, even just item isle numbers, so I suggest, if your able to do so, Install the Bunnings app onto your phone prior to your next visit, not only are you then able to see product in store availability, but you can actually view a real time store Map, (dependent upon selecting the same store you are visiting) and actually see yourself and your precise spot in store on the map, and be directed to the exact position of the item, and the isle on which it can be found, all right from your phone without the need of trying to find a staff member who can spare 5minutes to show you.
Could spend a week and plenty of cash as Bunnings seems to have everything you need no matter where you look. It's the ultimate one stop shop. Now it's even got a huge range of pet accessories. Could save you a fortune on unnecessary vet bills. Can't find a good vet in Adelaide at all. When you go to Bunnings give yourself an hour minimum to shop. Staff are very friendly and happy to help for directions and advice. Can't recall seeing anyone bar myself wearing masks. People have become complacent even though we lost another 23 lives to Covid in S.A with 1750 new infections recorded. Doesn't include those who use self tests at home which could double the number of new infections. COVID 19 HAS NOT GONE AWAY. Myself and my partner are the only people we know that haven't been infected simply because we've stuck to the advice of Medical Professionals by wearing masks, washing hands and social distancing. Some think that once they've had Covid they can't get it again - WRONG. Please wear a mask whenever you are around other people.
I don't usually try to interupt and i did say excuse me please. I just wanted directions on where to find a product? But to be totally ignored by a young male staff member is just not appropriate. I said excuse me the second time only to be thobbed off stating he is attending a customer. Of course he was. I am not blind! I understand he was attending to a customer but never the less could have afford a few seconds in giving me directions, being no more time than stating him attending to a customer. Instead he continued on deliberately draging it out. I am much older and wiser and know better. I kept my cool and patiently waited for approximately 4 minutes. May i suggest training staff in communication skills or perhaps in providing refresher training. This experience left me feeling offended and hope no other customer will need to endure being ignored in such a manner. Back to Mitre 10. I get better service there
I absolutely love Bunnings and can spend hours wandering around and always leave with so much more than what I went for. A visit to buy a $20-$30 item always ends in nothing under $200. This used to be at least on fortnightly basis but not any longer. I feel extremely uncomfortable now and made to feel like a criminal. I'm followed by casually dressed staff that are not so discreet and my handbag checked every single time. If it was everyone getting checked every time I wouldn't have a problem but watching the people in front and at other registers go through without being checked definitely makes me feel targeted. I have never stolen in my life and to be targeted like I am every time makes me feel like my picture is on the wall and a warning bell rings when I enter. I rarely go now and it's only to get a specific item if it's not available somewhere else that's close by.
Looking for under bench electric oven with a plug / not hardwired To be told they don’t sell them at all only the hardwired ones THIS WAS BY THE OVEN EXPERT THERE Staff walked away and we found what we wanted with a plug Went back to ask staff member for help as we wanted to make sure Only to get oh didn’t know we had them at all I will be with you in just a minute While waiting we took the box down opened it and checked to ensure it indeed had a plug Waiting almost 15 minutes we decided we will just take it walked past the EXPERT lady who totally ignored us Maybe she didn’t want to admit she doesn’t know what stock they actually have Very poor service
I believe it may have been Ashley (pls confirm) who helped me with my fire pit online order this morning and if not Ashley another awesome young lady who brought out my click/collect order later in day. I rudely ignored u while i accepted my order....rushed with kids school pick up and on the phone with work. To you both - thankyou! You absolute godesses and my 3 children (while stuffing their faces with toasted marshmellows) thankyou both too. I will definately drive 30 minutes out of my way again for service from you rockstars.if you havent already, payrises please!!!! Thankyou again ladies, made my day x
I want to thank "Brendan" for his 1st class customer service. I had a generator that blew up, and returned it and was sent off, only to be advised it was terminal. After a few calls "Brendan" worked some magic for me and got me a replacement from Briggs and Stratton. If upper Bunnings Management read these reviews, please acknowledge "Brendan's" efforts and service. His ability to relate to the customer and his commitment to help, is what you seek in an employee. I have no doubt he will climb the ladder, with his skills. Also thanks to Jess, Simran oh and you to Erin, for your efforts tonight. 31/8/2022.
My dad and I were treated rudely by your staff, the middle aged man seemed to be uneducated on how to conduct himself around people of a different race. Not only that he also sold us 100% argon gas when we asked for MIG gas, if he didn't know the answer to our question the he should not be providing advice and we are no stuck with gas which we have used partiality before we realised it wasn't what we asked for the intended use. All the younger staff are great but I have found a sad trend that being mistreated is normal culture from middle aged people in Adelaide.
i can not believe a hardware store can employ so many negative and poorly product knowledged people. Absolutely horrendous attitude by such a pack of disinterested clowns. One bloke just stared at me like i was talking in russian when i asked where the grey duct tape was. Another just kept walking and said " i cant help you at the moment" . And some bloke with a grey beard just picked his nose in front of me and said it " should be somewhere over there".....i had to laugh in the end....it was like a circus ...clowns everywhere.
Terrible website, terrible and insulting service. After checking the web literally in front of display unit and it saying in glowing green IN Stock only to find out that no apparently its either low in stock or out of stock because I'm not quite sure what that means from Bunnings and was given no explanation for this. I was offered another brand that was dearer for the same price of which I had to explain that the specs are not even close to the item I wanted to purchase. Thank you for waisting 3 hours of my day, appalling.
I came in last Sunday to exchange an item. I bought a front door handle a few weeks ago but when my carpenter arrived to install it we realised it was the wrong model. I was a bit worried because I lost the receipt to it. I believe the person I spoke to when I came in was Jamie at the returns desk. He managed to find the invoice on the system and made the exchange an easy process for me. He was also very polite, easy going and pleasant to deal with. Extremely good customer service
Ryan tonight at the tools shop went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot my Dyson cleaner and find the right tools to open it up. He was extremely helpful, patient, willing to get his hands dirty in every detail to help me out. I was really impressed with how helpful he is. In the end he even gave my daughter who was impatient a Bunnings kids souvenir and she walked away really happy too. A thumbs up from both of us. Thank you Ryan from Bunnings Woodville!
Bunnings is Bunnings-a place you go to buy stuff you need if you can find it. And when you do finally find it, it's in a pack of 6 or more or a multi size pack that you have yo buy 4 of to get the 4 of one size you need. But they are mostly convenient to get to with plenty of parking. Staff are generally friendly and as helpful as they can be (experience isn't good with some of the younger ones). For the items I generally buy, it's a one-stop shop.
Great customer service as we brought 2 $98 bbq for xmas, along with 2 new gas bottles one we gave for a present the other we kept. The one we kept upon opening we found a slight dent along the front. We rang bunnings Woodville spoke to Michael, no problem bring it back with reciept and they changed over with no questions..Just heads up for a small 2 burner bbq which is so easy to assemble and take to the park HIP HIP HOORAY...Fun times a head...
I visited this store last weekend. What amazing staff. Thank you to Jay and Evie in the paint department. Such a demanding job, but they still went over and beyond matching paint to touch up a new product I sell in my small business. They really showed interest in supporting and resolving my dilemma. You rarely find this in customer service. While doing this, they still ensured to serve all other customers!!!! well done guys and thankyou.
What a great Bunnings. Stopped here to buy supplies and do some work on the motorhome in the parking lot. It's one of those big Bunnings'. My little one started collecting the little kids trolleys all over and pushed them all the way back to the entrance. He got lots of praise from the bunnings employees and they even gave him a junior fluoro vest and a Bunnings truck! How sweet was that, he loves his bunnings truck. Good job, team!
Around 18 months ago I purchased a golden Diosma from you Cheltenham store. When it had become obvious it was not a Golden Diosma, I took a photo and went back to the store with proof of purchase, but was told I could only get a refund I had to dig it up, and take it back to them. When I pointed out the plant would probably die, they stuck by their comments. I purchased another one, and this one is wrong to. Bad service all around
Even a colour blind person can see, this is not the same colour That's what you get when you buy paint a Bunnings Woodville Better go to a Paint shop as there you get what you need like Inspirations Seaton There never I had the problem as I have with Bunnings Can't even follow the simple tag they put on the tin In fact there is a 3rd shade which is different too All is Tainan's Colorbond surfmist
I love this place. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. There's such a great range of products at good prices. They have all COVID protocols in place and a wonderful sausage sizzle on the weekends. I always find what I need here from gardening, paint made to the colour I want and glues for various projects - hobby or fixing. It's the best hardware store I have been to.
Very happy with the service and delivery. Good prices for the good quality. I was disappointed that the upright extendable clothes airers style I wanted in the better quality brand were not available but I bought 2 of another style which is made by Hills so I feel confident these will be great quality and strong unlike my old cheapies which did the job but haven’t lasted.
Just witnessed a supervisor (?) berate a staff member for helping an older lady fit a battery to a remote control. "You need to go back to serving customers, you're not allowed to do that." The lady said that she asked him to do it for her because she has arthritis, but that didn't change her mind...still not allowed. I hope you read this and feel ashamed of yourself.
My playground. Even when I'm not after a particular item, I just love wandering around looking for inspiration. Staff are ALWAYS helpful to problem solve my ideas for a project. After losing vegetables to seering summer heat, I wanted to create a protective shadecloth which could also be retracted. Michael was SO patient, talking me through what I needed. Success!
We needed some medium pots for some plants that required repotting, got some potting mixture to do so. We have a larger plant that needs reporting, but the particular Bunnings store we went to, didn't have the larger pot we needed, so that was a bit disappointing, but over all, we got some of what we wanted! We were just passing by, it wasn't a planned visit.
Don't ever buy a dishwasher from Bunnings! We bought a Bellini dishwasher which turned out to be broken out the box, we contacted Bunnings who handballed responsibility to Bellini who lied about despatching new parts without looking at the fault and Bunnings refuses to give us a replacement so we will dammed a refund to end this pathetic ordeal
I visited the Woodville store ,what lovely staff.I needed help in buying a lawn mower ,my 1st ,im 72 so i needed a easy one to use. Harrison helped me above and beyond expectations. He was full of knowledge and took the time to explain features and benefits. He is a credit to the company and his parents would be so proud.Well done Harrison.
The tattooed guy in the key cutting counter was super nice and helpful. When my duplicate keys turned out to be unfit, he helped me solve the problems by making the duplicates using the blue color key templates (which are more expensive) and surprisingly he gave me the replacements (3 keys) for free. The keys work now by the way.
The toilet facilities at bunnings woodville are literally third world. A publicly listed company and are clearly that tight on cleaning the place to an expectable hygienic standard it’s unbelievable In this same visit I watched a girl have a go at an elderly man because he was asking for assistance. Overall management is poor.
I was looking for a couple of simple BBQ accessories, I wandered around for over 15 minutes, no assistant anywhere, went down to the garden section, the young lady there got on her radio, went straight back, waited for another 20 mins, no one came , absolutely deplorable, save yourself some time and go somewhere else
Normally I wouldn't review a Bunnings, because let's face it, it's Bunnings. But today I got some really good service by one of the lads running the paint counter. I needed help with matching paint and I'm colour blind and my initial trial was a bit of a disaster. The help and advice I got today was fantastic.
I just LOVE Bunnings ALWAYS but the Bunnings in Woodville made me feel awful!I was continuassly WATCHED by one of the Staff at the Checkout IN garden area,I got the impression she thought I was Stealing, although I only had my purse! I suggest in the future if your going to WATCH a person....Do it DISCREETLY
This is my local. usually good but have to travel to edwardstowns bunnings as the plants could be fresher at woodvillr feel bad for the poor lady at the paint shop tonight. some angry grandpa used colourful language when she tried to help him. she was lovely to chat to and helped me with my paint
I need assistance in electrical aisle been waiting for half an hour, asked some staff but they keep saying “someone will come in a minute” I send someone who knows electrical”. I even asked the front for some assistance but they just say “ Go back, I will send someone in” but they never come!!
Bunnings is my favourite hardware store, basically I want to buy everything in there. There prices are great and they have everything I need for my clients renovations. The staff are helpful and I'm hoping to win the next Nissan Ute for powerless customers - you save upto 5% on some items.
Getting in and out of parking can be a little difficult particularly if you’re coming from the western suburbs… however it is a Bunnings and a big one with everything you could possibly want. I particularly love the garden centre which is larger than most with a huge selection of plants.
Worst customer service ever. Needed help with choosing a line trimmer, had a few questions before choosing and buying, asked for help, waited around for assistance but no one turned up so walked out. I’ve heard Bunnings customer service was bad, now I’ve experienced it
The aisles are wide, the shelves are stocked, and the staff are helpful, if not a bit overworked. You'll find everything you need for your next home improvement project, but don't expect anything out of the ordinary. It's Bunnings, what more can you say?
Customer service has gone from 4 1/2 to 1, and that's being flexible given the fact the employees don't require customer service, let alone cracking a smile or being approachable. Not the Bunnings to go to if you need assistance, or to feel welcome.
Had an encounter with a worker called Joy who was extremely rude with poor customer service and little patience. Literally shook her head and rolled her eyes at me. Not okay. Understandable if you’re having a bad day but atleast be professional.
This morning, I went to Bunnings, I asked this young man Zach to help me find a bonsai kit and a pot to go with it, his service was excellent, and he helped me, talked politely and I am very happy, what a fantastic person. Thank you, Zack.
Worst bunnings with the most rude and disrespectful employees and will treat you bad and give the worst customer service they are racist and treat people with disabilities horribly don't bother with this bunnings go to prospect
I got my wallet stolen in Bunnings. I was very disappointed to know that their CCTV didn't capture the actual footage where my wallet got stolen. I hope Bunnings ,being a big company can install more cameras around their shop.
My local Bunno's, been shopping here since they opened, never had a bad customer experience with them, staff are always helpful and friendly, and any time I've had problems with products they've been quick to offer a remedy.
Rather than saying you have stock, if you've got no stock, please show this on your website. It's not like you just ran out of the product I wanted either, I was informed you haven't had any for ages. Waste of my time.
Great shop has so much of what we have needed to fix up our house! Very friendly and helpful staff very big shop but sometimes the prices can be a bit extreme but the quality of the products are very high quality
Just another big box store No help to be found when asking questions about a project. Staff are clueless when it comes to DIY. Had great help at my local Mitre 10 and I will be heading back there from now on.
It's bunnings, who doesn't enjoy a trip to Bunnings. I always find good deals here. The only shortfall going here is finding staff to help on weekends. Tough times for the staff actually doing a great job.
Not my favourite Bunnings, but is ok. I desperately wish they would utilise the self serve checkouts more. 2 lines of 5 + people waiting today while the self serve checkouts are closed. Blows my mind.
It's a bunnings, only dilemma is: if ypur going to sell hardideck, at least have enough stock to complete a small deck. Travelling to 3 other stores for stock was frustrating. Otherwise, great staff
Great service, nice staff, the products are the best and they even cater for children. I got some Bunnings toy trucks only $5.00 each I got a whippersniper and some boxes. The kids will love them .
Good, big, all you need shop. However, China made products better exposed than Australian products. Bunnings suppose to promote local manufacturing. I'm not happy with theirs behaviour.
Pros -Has wide variety of products at reasonable prices generally service is good. Cons-Cashier at garden section needs retraining in customer service skills as they're non existent.
Great range. Got everything i needed, found an old $100 voucher from 2 Christmas’s ago in my email inbox and bought some gardening tools and some window alarms. …
Sylvia in the garden section is amazing, friendly, helpful and goes beyond the usual customer service, she was amazing today and I can't thank her enough for her assistance.
The staff are a great help but sometimes ,but I look it up on the website so I know where I'm going and it is quicker but still a great place to shop and it's close to home
My favourite place to shop. Can spend hours looking around. There are days it’s hard to find a staff member but on the whole it’s an easy store. Plant section really good.
Lovely staff, always ready to assist with anything, in and out with items I was looking for fairly quickly. Huge parking lot so you won't have troubles finding a spot.
Staff are rude in this store some are nice and want to help others would rather talk to eachother. If you can drivr 5 more mins airport bunnings is much better
Had the pleasure,of Vanessa help me at the checkout today, wow what a credit she is to your store. Polite, super efficient, wiw what a treasure of an employee
Helpful staff, location can be difficult to enter and exit depending on times. Bathrooms were filthy it was the evening so probaly had a hard day of use.
I got abused by an old chap. He tried to fight me for some metal pipe, obviously I won and used the metal pipe on him for some advantage. Good service!
Great range of accessories and tools but haven't made up my mind exactly what I'm going to do yet. I'll sure I'll visit the Woodville branch soon.
Not enough help around the aisles. Have to walk all over the place to find staff assistance, and it's a big place. Frustrating to say the least.
Need member on each isle to assist customers. Re stock as soon as shelf is close to empty. No rolls of orange safety bunting flags left.
Like most bunnings, has just about everything you need. Just make sure that if workers give you a hand, they give you the right item.
Do not get keys cut here. Multiple trips to get rectified and still a disaster. A convenience that has just proved a nightmare to fix
Bought tomato seedlings some had black spots and have died waste money staff not friendly on the day, seedlings mixed up all over
Not the largest Bunnings, and sometimes missing some product lines compared to the big stores. But an excellent local store
The girl at the trade desk is really short, unhelpful and comes across as stand offish. Not very customer friendly at all.
Absolutely hopeless service, lazy, arrogant and ignorant staff. I will go anywhere except burnings woodville
Great ART & GIFTS treat yourself. Workshops too in Screen printing, painting on canvas and candle making.
Weirdly (but pleasantly) empty on a sunday arvo, car park was easy to navigate, great selection of items
I love bunnings great range of most things in door and out, thanks guys really great service …
Consistent with other outlets. Feels like on of the bigger stores. Staff friendly and helpful.
The friendly staff quickly directed me to find the items I wanted. The checkout was cheerful.
Bought some plants and other small items this time...it's a go to place for almost anything
Best bunnings in Adelaide, great customer service with everything you need at last minute.
Got help when I asked great products good prices always a pleasure to shop there
Bunnings is bunnings... products ok, staff when you can fund them are useless
Just love this store. Helpful staff. A lot of parking spaces. Great location.
Great services by Paint Department & excellent customer service at checkout.
Pots with no holes & you still sell them. Know wonder my plants are dieing.
Lots of plants varieties and fertiliser you can buy from here. …
Always get what I need Fast check out Good snags Andrew james …
Another Bunnings tore with great friendly staff Can't fault them
Slightly bigger garden section compared to other bunnings stores
Always has items we want well stocked.. best bunnings store.
Tiny car park. Bunnings is Bunnings. Helpful friendly staff.
I could almost like to live there ,so many cool things!
Just a typical Bunnings. Friendly staff. No complaints.
Great range of products for all DIYs and garden needs.
Great store but one staff member was not very helpful
Liked it good bunnings store lots their
Always has everything I need and more!
Too much good people e
