No Heart - Here is my story why you should not use them. We engaged Sam Moffatt from RT Edgars in 2021 to sell our cape schanck property. I had to chase them to get some activity going. During COVID, I rang and said lets not sit around and wait for covid to end otherwise nothing will happen. I suggested that we use our Airbnb photos and at least post the property online. If I did not chase nothing would have happened. They did send an email and a buyer rang the agency. The agency did not know that the property was for sale. Eventually the eventual buyer found us by calling a neighbour and dropping a note in our letter box. We requested the interested party contact RT Edgars to find out about the property. That person then rang us back crying saying that the agency had been awful to her. I had to tell the agency to back off and let me do the negotiations. We then negotiated a price with the buyer and agreed the terms. The agency was not involved. I rang the agency to let them know we had sold the property. We had no other marketing of the property and the agency did not bring one single person through the house. A little while later I emailed the agency to say we should not be paying the full commission and that we would be happy to split the commission with them. They still would have got a lot of money for doing nothing. They flat out said no and that they get paid on success not effort. We have now sold the property to a lovely family and after settlement we did not even get a call from the agency. Greedy unkind people so beware of them. It would be good if three or four people did not use them so that they miss out on some business and the commission goes back to the universe.

To have achieved such an amazing auction result was very exciting for our family; we are so grateful to Paul, Madeline and Sam at RT Edgar Mornington Peninsula Flinders for their tireless efforts during a COVID-19 interrupted auction campaign….on, then off then back on again.... When the government gave the green light to proceed, the level of focus and effort to carry out close to one hundred one on one inspections was incredible!! Right from the start, our experience with the RT Edgar team can only be described as exceptional!! Thank you to Paul, Madeline and Sam for guiding us through pre-auction readiness and the auction campaign with patience, respect, incredible market knowledge and excellent communication. I decided to use the RT Edgar Short Stay division, as I was pleased with the process of negotiating with the sales team while buying our property. I couldn't be happier with the service and support I receive from all in the Short Stay team. Togo house was the perfect place for us to escape to. The house and garden were superbly decorated and landscaped. The open plan layout merged seamlessly on to the large deck overlooking a secure and private garden. The house is extremely well appointed. Nothing to bring with you except your clothes, food and toiletries. A stress free environment that was located a short stroll away from the heart of the quaint village of Flinders. A visit to the General store for supplies is a must. We will be back again soon.

I had the unfortunate experience of leasing a holiday rental with the Flinders branch of RT Edgar. The property was fine, but there incompetent service and exorbitant “penalty fees” was nothing short of extortion. I certainly won't be using them again and I advise against anyone else doing the same. It also took 4 follow up emails for them to finally return my bond. The last email I sent went ignored for 9 days until I finally got an apology for the delay.

Red Hill Family Retreat, A beautiful family home, very spacious and tastfully furnished. Kitchen is a cooks dream, equipped with everything you need. Garden is beautifully landscaped, the outdoor spa was an added bounus . The location was superb close to wineries , walking distance to The Epicurean and corner store . We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Red Hill Family Retreat, highly reccommended. Hope to visit again .

The house was very comfortable and clean for our short stay over the weekend. The kitchen was well equipped and the downstairs games room provided much entertainment for the entire family.
