We would like to highly recommend C&L Automotive Repair - giving them 5 stars! We were on our way from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area to Cincinnati, Ohio in June 2016. Our check engine light came on as did other dashboard lights indicating trouble. Oh my ... We were 35 miles south of Nashville. We prayed all the way to the nearest Autozone to have the codes checked. They told us what the codes indicated and recommended the closest auto repair shop, which happened to be right across the street on Charlotte Pike. Leo & his brother Carlos were the best. They dropped what they were doing and began working on our car. Leo even was so kind to drive us in his own vehicle to a nearby Chick-fil-A so we could get some lunch. They both are Christians and demonstrated their faithfulness in our Lord. HIghly recommend C&L Automotive.

Skilled, honest, patient, friendly and thorough! Leo and his fellow mechanics took the time to look at my car last minute as I had it rolled to their shop late Saturday afternoon. They diagnosed the problem and explained the best solution without charge. Originally I told them my starter wasn’t working, so they inspected my car comprehensively for that problem. It turned out to be my battery of all things. They got my car started so I could drive it to Auto Zone to purchase a new battery and have it installed there. They saved me time and money. I recently moved to Nashville and I am so happy I chose to go to C&L out of all the other auto places. My car was rattling and it sounded like it was coming from the exhaust. Leo was very friendly when I arrived to drop my car off before I went to work. They were very flexible with timing to fit my work schedule and get the quality job done as they know how important a car is to someones day to day life. With that, Leo was very understanding that I didn't know much about the problem and was happy to explain and draw out the issue so I understood. I will definitely being going back whenever I need my car serviced again!

I have been going to Leo for years. This man is as class act as they come— such a great, honest, hardworking man. I’ve been in a couple wrecks over the years and he always guides me on the best options for the next step. A lot of these mechanics out here are really quick to look at you as a way for them to gain more money, telling you doomsday news— not Leo! He sees his customers as people and I couldn’t be more grateful to have him as my mechanic over the years!!! Especially with how timely he is on getting things done! I was referred to C&L Auto Repair by an auto parts store. Because I have an older Honda, I was interested in installing a rebuilt power steering pump. The entire process was handled in a very professional and responsible manner. The initial pump I had installed proved to be defective but both the auto supply and C&L stood behind the installation of a pump that is now operating correctly. The only car place I totally trust. I'm always so nervous when my car has a problem because I don't know anything about car maintenance. This is the only place where I'm confident that I'm only being charged for what's really necessary. I've used them for years, and on multiple occasions, they've even done minor repairs for free and on the spot! This is definitely the best choice for car repairs. Really nice employees too.

I came in with an issue on my Subaru 10 minutes before they closed. They were still willing to help and even fixed it within 2 days even though they had a huge workload. The biggest factor in my rating was the honesty and quality of work. There's no upselling. There's no schemeing. These are honest people who do honest work. Definitely will be back!

I was in a emergency situation with the brakes on my car...I took the car to C&L AUTO. These guys do fantastic work, are kind, and honest. I am a college student who knows nothing about cars, and Carlos repaired my headlight and helped with some water retention issues in my taillight (both for free). This is going to be my go-to place for all car-repairs in Nashville from now on.

My neighbor, who is also a mechanic, recommended them. They are honest. They stand behind their work. They don't overcharge or tell you something needs fixed that doesn't, and when they inspect it for you, they give you a quote that you can count on; to the penny!

I had them do an engine replacement for me, it took a little bit we all had a great learning experience from it, but they did it at a great cost and outstanding service. These guys are good at what they do. Don't miss out on an excellent experience with them

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. They were right on with treating the problem with my car (bad old headlights). Completing the job swift and thorough. They did a greaaat job and the customer service is impeccable.

The first 2 jobs were completed successfully. But upon inspection an "issue" was left sitting not attached to anything so I went back and the guy said he reattached it. Hopefully it is attached to the correct spot.

Very honest mechanics who do great work. They took care of my car in a timely manner. It feels good to have a mechanic to trust that is looking out for you. Excellent prices too. Won't take my cars anywhere else.
