Tourists beware. I began having dental pain in early October of this year. So, I went to see a dentist in the United States; I was informed that I would need a root canal and a dental extraction. But I tried to put it off as long as possible because of my upcoming international travel, which led me to Smiling Dental. In late October, when I was in Madrid and just days before flying back to the U.S., I began having an unbearable toothache. When my friends noticed that my cheek began to swell, I decided to schedule an appointment. I chose Smiling Dental because of the reviews and their English-speaking staff. They scheduled my appointment for the next day (Friday, October 28th), and the receptionist was very friendly and fluent in English. So, when he discouraged my Spanish-speaking friend from leaving the waiting room, I didn’t think much of it. The receptionist began touting the benefits of their 3D scan technology and how it could pinpoint the issue more accurately. Next, they performed two sets of X-Rays and concluded that I needed a Deep Cleaning. Knowing that I was already due for an extraction, based on the opinion of two different US dentists (keep in mind, I was putting it off), I was surprised by their assessment of the 3D scan. During the deep cleaning, they seemed to comment critically on the work done by other dentists and then magically found a cavity. Then, when I called out the tooth in question, they informed me that everything “looked good.” I was surprised to be discharged without getting any work done, a pain relief regimen, or a prescription! I was in so much pain the day after my visit with Smiling Dental that I immediately scheduled an appointment when I arrived back in the states. On that Monday (three days later), during boarding, the swelling on my upper gum became so uncomfortable that I started to massage it. It popped, and I began feeling immediate relief. Which begs the question, why didn’t the dentist physically see the cyst or catch it with their 3D X-ray? For all their advanced 3D technology, they either don’t know how to read, use, or interpret it. When it was all said and done, I was out 590 Euros and in more pain, or worse shape than when I walked in!!!

I had the best experience with Clinica Smiling while I was in Madrid. I developed an awful tooth ache upon arriving to Madrid for a one week stay. I was able to make a same day appointment to Clinica Smiling which was very helpful. They took an X-ray and found that I had two cracks in my molar and the only solution was to pull the tooth and put in an implant. Because of the length of time I was going to be there this was impossible. They decided to try a temporary fix with glue to help me with the pain. I am happy to say that it worked! I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation pain free until I could get back home to my dentist. My Spanish is not so great but they all spoke great English and helped me navigate the process. If you find yourself in a similar situation don’t hesitate to call them. Thank you Clinica Smiling for saving my vacation!!!!

I'll keep this as short as I can. Stay far, far, far away from this place! I came in as a translator for Greg Schweitzer, look for his 1 star review. I was present for their 3D X-ray sales pitch, and I encouraged Greg to get it. However, I was dumbfounded when they discouraged me from going to the back with Greg because "it's usually for parents and their kids." The guy spoke decent English so I felt comfortable wandering off for coffee. I met up with Greg later only to be stunned to find out he wasn't given or offered any kind of treatment or medicine for his pain. This is after I had inspected Greg's teeth myself and had already seen Greg's decaying filling with my two very eyes!!! The incompetence here is astounding, extraordinary, and inflammatory. We were bamboozled by Smiling Dental.

I recently visited Smile Dental Center for a cleaning procedure and regular check-up. I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and care I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that I was comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. Not only provided excellent service but also made sure communication was clear by speaking perfect English. The doctors attending me were exceptionally skilled and took the time to explain every step, addressing all of my concerns. Amazing work - thank you. Travelling through Madrid I accidentally chipped my tooth and this dental practice saw me within 2 hours of my call. They are extremely professional and friendly (with perfect English) and I cannot recommend their work highly enough. I had a full clean and restoration of my broken tooth, which now looks better than it did before. They also did a basic dental check and X-ray which was all very reasonably priced. I am now considering getting the rest of my dental work done here while I am travelling :)

I had read that Centro Dental Smiling was one of the highest ranked dentists in Madrid. And I knew that Spain has an outstanding reputation and history of high quality dentistry. This clinic was top notch. The offices are spotless and state of the art, and everyone is friendly. In fact, I was impressed to see the latest high tech equipment. Centro Dental Smiling is way more advanced than any dentist I've ever been to in California. And the procedures are less than half the cost of the U.S. Overall, I'd give them a 9.9/10.

Además yo soy muy miedoso para estos temas dentales, y siempre me han tratado con muchísima delicadeza y cuidado. Les estoy muy agradecido. Las nuevas tecnologías que han incorporado la situan, a mi parecer, como una clínica de referencia. Sin duda alguna, la clínica donde ir cuando tengas problemas "con tu boca". I was spending some days in Madrid and thought I could visit a dental hygienist since I had some downtime. The treatment was rushed, and no care put in it. I left with significant parts of the gums bleeding due to cuts - this has never happened to me before. The teeth had also not been particularly well cleaned. It was truly incomprehensible to me that a place would treat patients so poorly. The cleaning is suppose to last 45-60 min. It took less than 30 min. It cost me 70 EUR.

Unprofessional! This happened today 16.8.2022. I booked an appointment through their website for my son and when we arrived, we found out the receptionist doesn't speak English, she tried to communicate with us via Google translate in her computer desk. She informed us there is no available appointment till end of August. The calendar in her computer is different from the one on the website! Moreover, the doctor is not available! Waste of time and taxi fares.

Best dental team in Madrid. They were able to fix 2 cavities, remove a wisdom tooth, and perform a cleaning all under an hour (was able to book thru phone just the day before). Everyone was very informative, nice, and caring — couldn’t have asked for a better team. Plus everything is very advanced and in general a lot better than any dentists I’ve been to in the States. Their English is also amazing and I could understand everything that was going on

Absolutely blown away with this dental clinic in every aspect of the service I've received! They were friendly, accommodating and patient. Their facilities were modern and the clinic was sparkling clean! The dentist's conducted a thorough assessment and took their time to explain everything to me. The hygienist dental cleaning was also great and pain free!! I couldn't recommend this clinic anymore!

Needed to have a filling repaired/replaced while traveling from USA. Discovered these folks while searching for English speaking dentist in Madrid. Scheduled appointment via email. From the moment I arrived, each of the 4 staff members were attentive, helpful, knowledgeable & Marta the dentist did solid professional work. If I lived in the area, I would return to this office.

We came in as an emergency for my 2 year old who broke his front tooth playing today and we had an amazing experience Dr. Marta was amazing she did my son tooth very quickly and the results were great! Everyone on the clinic was so nice and helpful my son had a great time and we left 30min later with a new fixed tooth! Thank you everyone for your kindness and amazing job!

The team is extremely professional and take their time to listen (and when Spanish isn't your first language - they're very patient). The space is very clean and modern, and again the team is super friendly. Would DEFINITELY recommend!!
