I stumbled upon this salon through many ads on Instagram. Curious and needed to fix my hair anyway, I decided to give this place a try. My first visit was for a haircut with Sam. He was very detail-oriented and went through a whole consultation with me (which I have never experienced before) of how I wanted my hair to be cut, and even took in consideration that I am very low maintenance with my hair! Of course, the end result was fantastic. The second time I came here was for a coloring service with Bella just a day before I left for vacation. I had a horrible experience with a bleaching job at a previous hair salon, so I was afraid of how my scalp would tolerate it this time, but everything felt great. There was no tingling or burning sensation with any of the products she used and my hair came out still strong and healthy. Bella is an amazing hair colorist, and I'm definitely returning back to her for the next time I get my hair colored again! Customer service was 11/10! The owner and Bella were so kind and went beyond to ensure my color was perfect before I left for my trip, and even stayed after hours to fix my roots. They even offered a complimentary color touch-up for when I came back from my trip, which I was so highly appreciative! They also offer beverages and chocolates, and are always checking up on you to make sure you're doing alright. Conclusion: I finally found a place I can confidently say that this is from now on my go-to destination for hair services! Highly highly recommend! Keep up the amazing work!

Hands down, best hair salon I've ever been to. My experience was phenomenal start to finish. I went in for just a hair consultation and was immediately greeted and offered refreshments. The salon itself is stunning (see pic). Good location just south of Bathurst station. I had Amanda and she is so professional. All the staff here are so kind and professional. For the consultation, Amanda took her time with me and made some great recommendations for my hair type. She demonstrated great knowledge about hair and she is very experienced. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a quality hair salon. I ended up getting a keratin straightening treatment for my frizzy hair and it has changed my life. It's been a month since my visit and I'm still in love with the treatment and hair cut. I can't say enough about how great this salon is.

I live in the U.S. and booked an appointment with Sam for a women's hair cut. I wasn't able to pay the $20 deposit due to not having E-transfer but after emailing the salon, they said not to worry about it. I was able to use my U.S. bank credit card (they accept Visa and Mastercard) with no problem to pay. Sam did an AMAZING job. You can tell he really knows his craft and he was meticulous with the cut and style. Their hairwashing stations are also extremely comfortable, with lie-flat seats so your neck doesn't start hurting, and pretty sparkling lights on the ceiling. It was very soothing. My cut was $80 (if you pay the $20 deposit, that is deducted from your total) and I asked for a trim up of my curtain bangs, more layers, and thinning out my heavy hair. Sam did everything perfectly and I love my cut! I will return here for sure.

I am honestly at a lost for words at how gorgeous my hair is!!! Amanda did such an amazing job with my haircut and balayage. I got soft layers with face framing pieces and as Amanda was cutting my hair, I could already tell how talented she was. She mentioned she worked so hard to perfect this haircut and it is so clear on her work. For the balayage, I asked for no bleach and a caramel brown colour with neutral tone. She knew exactly what would look nice on me. It was my first time doing any colour and she made me feel so comfortable and at ease when getting it done. She took her time and was super sweet and hospitable. She gave me an amazing scalp and shoulder massage. She also styled my hair perfectly. Everything about my visit was 10/10!! Can’t wait to come back for my next visit. Thank you, Amanda!!

Overall, my experience at the CL Salon was great as the staff were friendly and not shy to conversation, I was consistently offered refreshments, and I was even given a head and shoulder massage. Amanda, a true perfectionist, provided a very detailed consultation to make sure I knew exactly what I wanted and provided ideas that would best suit my hair and style. In the end, she produced a beautiful ash blonde balayage, going above and beyond my expectations. The staff are truly passionate about their work and make sure that their clients leave happy and impressed. With great end results and excellent service, I will definitely be going back and I would highly recommend this salon to all!

The staff at CL Salon were very friendly, professional, and attentive. This new addition to the Annex neighborhood has a clean and modern feeling. Their twinkling star ceiling in the hair wash area is a relaxing visual feature. The results of the cut and colour were exactly what was asked for. This ground floor salon is accessible and has an accessable washroom. Parking is available on the side streets, there is a Green P lot one block away on Albany. There is a coffee shop a few stores north of the salon if you get there early for an appointment or just need to get caffeinated. This Salon has very good reviews and after experiencing their service it really shows. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This hair salon is amazing. 10/10 recommend. I am from out of town and booked Amanda for a bang trim. Loved that you can book an appointment online and for a specific service like trimming just your bangs which require more frequent maintenance than the rest of my hair. Planned for a simple touch up and ended up leaving with a beautiful toner and fully styled hair. Simply because everyone was just so nice, personable, and loved what they do. I had several people help me after Amanda and each one of them was so kind to me AND each other. I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out as well as my entire experience from start to finish.

I paid 500$ for just crown of my head and this is what I got, brassy spots all over my hair and yellow tone in money piece. When I told Rachel that you said I can have my hair like the picture I showed during my consultation she said do you have it recorded!! The salon manager got my number to call today and I never received a call from them. Poor customer service and they change their words, be very careful if you do decide to go here and do not pay if it doesn’t match what you asked. When I was there Rachel said they have a 2 weeks period that I can go back to fix the color if something bothers me and that turned out to be a lie too.

Cl salon is undoubtedly the best salon in Toronto. With each of my visits, they have gone above and beyond to ensure that I leave with not only the best hair of my life, but with a smile on my face. The entire staff is so personable, and their teamwork + craft is unmatched. I receive compliments on my hair almost every other day, and feel confident in recommending Cl salon each time. I’ve tried a whole bunch of their services - cutting, colour, gloss, the Japanese NP treatment…all 10/10. The products they offer behind the counter are fabulous as well. I’ve been going to the salon for nearly 4 years and they offer a great service. I always see Bella (highly recommend), but have interacted with multiple staff who have always been friendly and helpful. From offering coffee, water, chocolate (!!), to head and neck massages, I’d say they go above and beyond given the affordable price point. My colour and cuts always turn out great, and my hair always feels so healthy after leaving the salon. I’ve sent a number of friends and coworkers to CL Salon who are now repeat customers, and will continue to recommend them!

Received a bleach and tone courtesy of Jared on July 3; I had never dyed my hair before but Jared was an absolute pro the entire time. Explained everything he was doing in detail and got me from black to ash blonde in two processes in a single afternoon. The salon itself was spotless, their staff still mask and there are air purifiers scattered about which is a nice added touch. Everyone from the front desk and on was very friendly and really made this a top notch experience. Would definitely recommend this salon to family and friends.

CL Salon is amazing. The hairstylists/barbers/whatever they are called are extremely friendly and actually care about making you look attractive. My appointment was with Rachel and I was offered personalized service and consulting on my hair. Noone has ever been able to tame my hair like she was able to. Of course, the catch is that this place is extremely expensive, so be careful! The prices are often more than they list unless you have perfect, easy-to-manage, straight flat hair.

Amazing experience, this is such a friendly place that doesn't feel intimidating at all. The environment is clean, modern, beautiful and the experience comes with a scalp massage and shoulder massage. It was like a haircut and spa visit in one. They also offer you tea/coffee/and chocolates Amanda really knows how to work with Asian hair. I asked for a trim and some light layers and got exactly what I asked for. Will 1000000% come back!

I had my first ever balayage done with Rachel a week ago! She was so kind, friendly, and explained every step of the process. I was undecided between two different looks and she came through with something in between (that looked so much better than I could have ever imagined!!). It was a long appointment haha but she made it so enjoyable and I’m so excited to come by again when I get a touch up! I highly HIGHLY recommend CL Salon. :)

First Impression, very clean and modern decor, understated ecclectic, relaxing vibe. My stylist did an amazing job on correcting my highlights, with a root touch-up, toner, and my hair turned out amazing. The price for this was under 200, with my first visit discount! Best services and prices in town, plus a friendly experience complete with coffee-Definitely found my new go to Thanks Cellar!

It was my first time getting my hair colored in 2023 and I was a bit intimidated at first but Amanda and her staff were super sweet and helpful!! I’ve been back two more times since then and have had wonderful experiences. It’s been half a year since my initial appointment and the hair color is still super vibrant. Highly recommend seeing Amanda for hair coloring and hair cuts!

Haircut was amazing. Sam, Bella, Amanda and the other staffs do a great job. I have been here a few times before leaving any reviews. I love how they have tons of hair products instead of just a handful. You will notice that even the owner help out a lot for sweeping, offering water/refreshments. it shows how much CL Salon cares about thier customer experience at all times.

I am 63 years old lady. I would like to have some nice changes for my hair style. But I am not sure which one is better. I visited CL SALON and chatted with Amanda and I am enjoying it so much. My hair turned very stylish It matches my age in a yunge way. Also,easy to take care. No doubt, Amanda is very professional . has good sense of what she's doing.

Long overdue review but AMANDA IS THE BEST and the only person I trust with my hair. She cares for all her clients and will never lie to you. She won’t ever jeopardize your hair and will always do her best to give you the results you want. I always have the best time at the salon and their thoughtfulness never ceases to amaze me. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing experience! Had my hair cut by Amanda. She is an amazing stylist and was able to make my hair look healthy again after getting rid of my damaged bleached ends. Loved the scalp massage and the neck and shoulder massage as well. Highly recommended salon, especially for those who want a stylist that has knowledge and expertise on Asian hair.

I booked a last minute appointment online for a wash and cut with Rachel. She was very attentive and asked lots of questions. She also gave one of the best scalp massages in the starry room. It was a very relaxing and modern environment. I am really happy with my hair cut and will definitely be coming back for a touch up and perhaps some colour!

Amanda has no idea how to cut fine hair. I explained to her what I wanted, she argued it should be done another way. She did her thing despite my instructions and as a result, my hair looks thinner, I waited $110 and my time. Plus be aware! The salon calculates the tip on the price plus taxes instead of calculating it before tax. SCAMMERS

Everyone at CL is amazing. I have been a patron for the past 5 years and never been disappointed with any of the stylists there. Their hair wash section is my favourite part- black out area with twinkling lights on the ceiling for a “starry” experience.

The salon was nice enough to take me as a walk in after some serious hair neglect. I am so happy with their work it feels and looks great and Sammy did an absolutely amazing job! So happy he could knock this experience out of the park for me.

I go to Bella for my haircut - she's great! I haven't used the other stylists (other than once for a Keratin treatment with Sam which ruined my hair!). 5 stars for Bella, their online booking system, friendly staff, and cleanliness.

I got my haircut from Sam. Very attentive. Got exactly what i wanted. He took his time to explain what would fit me better and how to style my hair. I would definitely recommend this salon!

Only problem is the washing station is not good for wheelchair user to transfer onto as they are attached to the sink but the staff I met was a sweetheart ❤️ and did a great job
