I’ve been utilizing the pharmacy since I moved down the road six months ago. I’ve used CVS pharmacies my entire life, and I have multiple prescriptions filled. The customer service at cvs in general has always been great. This CVS pharmacy is terrible. I typically use the drive thru to pick up. When using the drive thru, there is the automatic greeting and then at a normal CVS pharmacy, someone lets you know they’re on their way or they open the window to help you. I’ve sat there for five, ten, and fifteen minutes. I’ve had to ring the button multiple times. Sometimes on the second ring I get a response, sometimes I don’t. I’ve knocked on the window. And twice after fifteen minutes of waiting, I’ve left without ever being addressed. They were open. I saw them inside moving. I double checked that it was business hours. My experiences with some of the pharmacy techs have also been less than ideal. I had a prescription filled incorrectly. I realized it when I got home. I went in to ask them to correct it or fix it since it was an inappropriate dose, and they informed me there was nothing they could do since I already picked it up. Then she tried to walk away. I yelled quite loudly to come back, and then I told her that wasn’t a solution. After about ten minutes, she finally agreed to call the doctor to get it fixed. Mind you, this is an error that should have been caught by the pharmacy the first time around. I have tried speaking with pharmacy management. They’ve told me they are sorry, very busy, and working on it. I was first told that in August 2018. I was left without anyone answering the drive thru again in January 2019. It does not appear that it is getting fixed, so I’m switching pharmacies. This review is receiving two stars ONLY because the convenience store side of this CVS is well organized and the cashiers are always friendly when I stop in for late night ice cream.
