I am writing this email to bring to your attention a recent experience I had at your store that has left me disappointed and concerned.\n\nYesterday, on July 14th, I visited your store with the intention of getting my blood pressure checked on one of the blood pressure machines. I had been feeling dizzy and light-headed for the past three days, and I wanted to monitor my blood pressure. Upon entering the store just before the Pharmacy closed, I approached a Pharmacist and a student who was training to be a pharmacist. I explained that the standard cuff on the blood pressure machine did not fit my bicep entirely and inquired if there were any options available with a larger cuff. One of them suggested using the wrist monitors instead.\n\nI proceeded to the pharmacy register and purchased a wrist blood pressure monitor for $60. I informed the Pharmacist that I would be sitting in the waiting area to test my blood pressure, as I was feeling very dizzy and considering seeking medical attention at an ER or Urgent Care.\n\nAfter trying the wrist blood pressure monitor three times within the store, I obtained three significantly different readings. I concluded that the machine was defective and decided to seek a refund and visit a clinic instead.\n\nSubsequently, I walked to the front of the store and approached a cashier who was eating a candy bar at the register. I requested a refund to my AMEX for the purchase of the blood pressure monitor ($60). The cashier informed me that without a receipt, the refund would be provided in the form of store credit only. I explained to her that I had made the purchase in the Pharmacy and had not exited the store, using my ExtraCare number and selecting the \"No receipt\" option. Nonetheless, she insisted that only store credit could be issued.\n\nDrawing upon my knowledge from having worked for CVS approximately eight years ago, I requested to speak with the manager. I mentioned that the manager could verify the purchase through the office's surveillance cameras and retrieve the actual receipt transaction from the computer system. In response, the cashier replied in a very passive-aggressive tone that there was no manager present. This raised another concern for me since I was under the impression that the policy required at least two individuals to close a store. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it, stating that she didn't know me (she also didn't have a name badge on). Eventually, she disclosed that her manager's first name was Andrew, but she was unaware of his last name.\n\nFeeling frustrated and unwell, I expressed my disbelief that she wouldn't give me her name and that she was alone in the store. I emphasized that her only response was to provide her manager's first name as Andrew, which prompted me to consider escalating the matter to corporate. She responded with a smirk, which only added to my frustration. In an attempt to gather more information, I purchased a piece of gum to obtain the employee number and name.\n\nI am emailing both of you to bring these issues to your attention. Even though taking my business elsewhere may not have a significant impact on the day-to-day operations of the store, I believe there are several concerns in this situation that could potentially lead to larger legal liabilities. Instead of resorting to threats such as contacting the Better Business Bureau or leaving negative Google reviews, I have chosen to address these matters directly with you.\n\nUltimately, I would like to request a refund for the wrist blood pressure monitor. I believe it is important to resolve this issue promptly and to ensure that similar incidents do not occur in the future. I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and a prompt resolution.\n\nThank you for your understanding and cooperation.\n\nPhotos from the 2nd purchase gum with the cashier/store/ time info as well as various readings from the wrist monitor that was given to me.
CVS BERRY NEEDS TRAINING LIKE NO OTHER. I never have left bad feedback on any business before but I have NEVER had so many issues with a simple pharmacy pickup. I DO NOT exaggerate when I tell you that there has been a mistake/issue EVERY time I have dealt with this CVS pharmacy. I will use my last experience (this morning) as an example b/c all my issues with this pharmacy have had the same story line. I had a RX called in by my doctor's office 3 days ago. When I called this CVS pharmacy several hours later they said the soonest it could be filled would be 3 days from that time and that I could call back on Thursday am and they would get it ready for me. I asked for that pharmacy employee's name b/c I knew from previous experiences that something would go wrong and I wanted to have the names of each person I dealt with. The next day (last night) I called the pharmacy a 2nd time just to confirm that this was still the correct pickup time for that rx and this is a different employee and they reconfirmed that, yes, the rx would be ready for pick up Thursday and to just call when they open today and they would fill it quickly. So I called today at 9am and spoke with ANOTHER pharmacy employee and they said they would have it ready in 30 minutes. I waited a full hour and before leaving for CVS I gave them ONE more call just to be sure that this rx would actually be ready and how much it would be. The same employee I had spoken with at 9am said yes it is ready and it will be $5. I drive all the way there and when I pull up they say it is NOT ready and actually won't be able to be filled for ANOTHER 4 days! That would have been nice to know 3 days ago or last night or this morning at 9 or again at 10am. 4 phone calls and NOW they tell me they dropped the ball. Even though I get this rx at the same time every month for the last year. I had to retell my saga to 3 different employees in that pharmacy until the head pharmicist came over and spoke with me just to tell me CVS has a new policy she "thinks" just went into effect a couple weeks ago and that's why it's not ready. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THIS MANY PEOPLE WORKING IN ONE PLACE TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES OVER AND OVER AGAIN? Needless to say, Walgreens is getting my business now and they were across the street and able to fill it in less than 15 minutes with no confusion or stress to me at all. Get your act together CVS Berry. It's not our job to make sure you are doing yours.
Worst experience ever. It was cold during winter time when I went to the store to return my online order. The CVS return policy allows customers to return their online order in-store or through mailing (which takes more days for them to issue the label). So I dropped by and met one of CVS employees over there. I don't remember her name, she has a long, blond hair, about 40-early 50 year-old. She keeps telling me to come back and return by mail because CVS does not accept online order return. BUT the CVS return policy actually does, because I decided to come to other CVS store near by and the employee accept my return (she's quite confusing at the beginning but she called her manager and lookup for whether it's possible to work on my return, and she successfully help me with that return order!!!). I just wonder the employee at CVS on Berry street is too LAZY double check the policy before refusing customer's request... I just want to say this store need to have a better training management because it's not only me but other share the same feedback about POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. And as a result, this store loseS one support from me because I don't want to have bad experience again...
My son's physician sent his prescription around 3:30 pm today and the nurse informed me that the prescription would be ready within an hour. I went to the pharmacy today around 6:45 pm and gave the pharmacist my insurance information. Initially he wanted me to pull around and let the car behind me receive service, but I told him that I wasn't about to wait any longer(I had already waited about 20 mins). The pharmacist informed me that my insurance information was incorrect and tried to get me to pay the out of pocket cost of $49. I told him that I'd rather come back at another time because I need to call my insurance about his statement. My insurance is valid and when I tried to call the pharmacy at the number that is displayed online, no one answered the phone. After everything that I've been through tonight I decided to transfer my prescription to Walgreens across the street, who has filled several prescriptions for me without any issues. If I could give this pharmacy ZERO stars I definitely would. The customer service is horrible and the wait time is unheard of. I will NEVER use this CVS pharmacy again.
Zero stars. Beware of discrimination based on your appearance.. there's a few staff who are absolutely atrocious and will treat you like garbage if you look different or are disabled. Add in zero concept of personal space and they have no problem talking down to anyone who they decide to hold a bias against. It's uncalled for to get within two feet of someone and corner them. It's called harassment and it's illegal. So is discrimination. If you can't treat everyone fairly, go get a job NOT dealing with people. I fear for any single mothers who have to carry their child's diaper bag.. since it's apparently acceptable to harass the disabled for needing their health supplies on hand which results in am extra purse. Do not go here if you want to be treated like a human being. I will be looking into filling official complaints against this store's workers after such a horrific experience. Corporate needs to train their employees on how to behave properly and do a refresh on ethical issues. Don't go here unless you want a traumatic experience.
The absolute WORST service I've EVER had not only at a pharmacy but any establishment offering services. Had to call 7 times to tell them to refill my very common prescription. Then when I finally went to pick it up 5 days later, they only had 1 out of 2 of them. When I asked where the other one was they didn't acknowledge my complaint and made me call back later where I had to wait another 4 days for my prespecription. Then, when I gave them a second chance to do better with another refill, they told me they couldn't refill it because it was documented that they gave me a 3 month supply when I only got 1 month supply. I cannot understand why they can't do the bare minimum. Never going back.
My medication (a very popular one) was called in for a refill, but apparently they were out of stock, so just let the script sit there without letting me know. Then i was promised they were getting a shipment in within the week. No meds that week. no meds the next week. No answers about when they would get it in. The entire time I am having to call back repeatedly to catch the main pharmacists hours because no one else can answer my questions. One of the techs was very nice while I was there, but this site has a systemic problem with the pharmacy that needs major major work. this was the last straw in a long line of screw ups. Taking my business ANYWHERE else, for good.
We're done. We have been using this CVS for 7 years, and time after time, we've dealt with slow service, mangled prescriptions, medicine outages, etc. Enough is enough. After spending an hour on the phone with them making sure the doctor had sent through the order properly and being assured by the pharmacist herself that the prescription would be ready when I came to pick it up, I was somewhat miffed when I was told this evening that the order had been denied and no prescription had been put in. After spending another hour and a half there in person, this issue was finally resolved. To all those with new prescriptions: Don't waste your time here. Go somewhere else.
They have treated my mom so bad at this cvs they have disrespected her so much and I as a cashier she told me how a cashier was basically kicking her out because she was getting a attitude but my mom was just asking a question but they guy name andrew he keep ignoring her questions and just telling her do you have a problem and my mom just wanted a answer but they kept ignoring her and as a cashier that I had experienced with other customers my mom was just trying to know the answer but they kept ignoring her they should do BETTER I wish I could give 0 stars and this isn't even the first time they have treated my mom badly this store is horrible
Listen...cvs has only 1 star. I'm here to raise that. I've been on board with them for a couple years. "Non" the pharmacist...she spells it different but pronounces it the same...is AMAZING!!! My doc funked up my HBP meds and she made it right by giving me 3 loners til the holiday weekend is over til it got set straight! That's OG in my book! She's literally keeping my heart beating. After today I will NEVER change pharmacies! Not only this visit was extraordinary. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. The folks that try to lower the bar are old and crabby!!!
This is the worst pharmacy ever. They have messed up my medication countless times leaving me without it - when I need it - for weeks at a time. When I ask for help, they essentially say “tough luck” and leave me high and dry. They are extremely unprofessional, do not communicate about potential issues with prescriptions, lack accountability and timeliness. I am leaving this pharmacy because they have given me the worst experience on many occasions now and show no remorse and have not tried fixing the issue considering it’s happened several times now.
Updated to add they never have any basic children’s medications in stock and they don’t care! This pharmacy used to be great. In the past year, they can never manage to fill a prescription, they can never get a hold of a physician, they’ve stopped texting when a prescription is ready, they are rude and the drive through takes 45 minutes or more for one car. And don’t even think of trying to get a flu shot— they make you fill out pages of information on the website to even try.
Just as all of the other's have commented, this place seems to take stupidity and professionalism to a new low. I haven't once ever had anything just got smoothly here, never have things ready when they say they will, and when you get annoyed with them they get mad back at you. This is the absolute worst Pharmacy I have been to and there's a great Walgreens Pharmacy right next door that has good service, so why not switch. This takes imcompetence to a whole new level!
Been going to this pharmacy for 4 years. I admit, the last 4 years haven't been great, but within the last month or so it's so much better! There are two new employee's who are super nice! I can't remember their names, but there is a new girl and new gentlemen (pharmacy tech's) who are both very polite and super helpful. They make coming to this CVS so much better. If they continue to hire employee's such as these two, they will be setup for success for a long time!
Perscription was supposed to be ready at a specific time, it was not. I couldn't sit around and wait on it, so I had came back the next day. When I did, and they hadn't processed it through my insurance, so they wanted the full price. They had to re-enter the information they had collected the day before and print a new label. It seems like the place is being run very poorly. The lady in front of me in line was upset because they had completely messed up her order.
I now understand why the ratings are so low for this location… I came to pick up my prescription within the timeframe and they told me that they had already put it up, even though I just got a call the day before saying I could come get it . Then I came back an hour later to get my prescription and it took over 10 minutes for them to help the person in front of me in the drive-through because they had some thing wrong with their prescription.
The pharmacy staff does a great job of meeting my needs. This pharmacy over the past few years has gotten much busier, and between the drive up, the walk in clients, and the phone constantly ringing I am pretty sure that the staff is overwhelmed at times. If I had a suggestion for the store managers it would be to schedule more of your staff throughout the work day. The staff is helpful, polite, and hard working even when they are swamped.
My daughter is a college student and was diagnosed with the flu. She sat at the CVS for over an hour to get her medicine. No one would help her and she was feeling too sick to leave and come back. I sat on hold for 45 minutes for someone to pick up the phone. Once I spoke to someone then they filled her prescription. This is the worst service. I recommend everyone go to Walgreen's across the street!
My insurance is literally going to expire before I can get in touch with this pharmacy. Every time I call, I’m stuck on hold for 20+ minutes! Who the heck has time for that? All I need is ONE prescription refill. AAAAND they just hung up on me after leaving me on hold eternally to listen to their stupidly poor quality classical music. I’m going back to Walgreens.
My wife had her meds transfer over to this location they told me they will be ready in two hours so I waited for 4 hrs come pick them up and they did not even have the transfer done These meds is a must for my wife and she has to have them if not she will end up in the er they did not say sorry or anything they was rude don't count on this cvs they are unreliable
I never leave reviews but I have called 7 times today and can’t get an answer at the pharmacy. Jacob also was not helpful at the pharmacy and refused to assist when I asked when my prescription would be ready after getting fed up and driving up there myself. I was simply told “I don’t fill the prescriptions, so I don’t know.” Unacceptable.
Took an incredible amount of time to find what I was looking for because their mail items are all broken up in different sections across one side of the store. I had to keep backtracking to compare. Poorest organization I’ve seen in a while. Any employees I came in contact with were nice otherwise it would have fully been a poor experience
Waited in line for a flu shot, finally get to front of line and they tell me I need to be in the line about 5 feet over. There are NO SIGNS saying the other line is for flu shots. Waited about 30 minutes and pharmacist would never help me. Wanted me to pay then wait longer. Really poor, won't go back to their pharmacy.
Older lady with gray hair at front checkout counter, refused to take my online return and said there "two different systems and I would have to contact customer care" for a simple return. She's not qualified to even be a CVS associate, misinforming guest is not customer service.
THE CAUCASIAN LADY WITH SHORT HAIR AND GLASSES BY THE NAME OF LISA LIKES TO STEAL MONEY. She shorts you on yo change then leaves her cashbox open goes back and takes the remaining of the money she shorts on customers change. She straight stealing right in front of ppls face.
Harmony in the pharmacy was amazing. A+ I thought customer service had died. But there she was guiding me thru insurance and prescriptions my like a pro. Maybe if you hired more people like her, you would have better reviews. Thank you so much for all you did. Keep smiling!
Incompetent girl told me prescription was expired, after I had already left. Made me go back to get it. She could have told me that the moment I handed it to her. Not make me waste my time. Totally inconsiderate person. Obviously does not care for customers...
Went in to pick up pictures that I ordered and the white lady with the glasses was rude, and talked down to me as if I didn’t know which location I sent my pictures to. She needs to be fired. She can take those pics and shove them up her @$$!
Called to have them transfer my prescription to another CVS, the man told me he couldn't do it and promptly hung up on me while I was in mid-sentence. I have always had to wait a long time and now I will definitely switch pharmacies.
Just horrible!! Waiting on your prescription when it’s “ready” for pick up, can take about an hour wait. Calling the pharmacy, they expect you to wait over 20 minutes, not sure how much longer but I hung up at 21 minutes.
I have never met a more inconsiderate and unprofessional pharmacy staff in my life. To the point where you would have to physically try to be this bad. (Only one single pharmacist there does this not apply to).
Poor customer service. Staff was abrupt. After driving up to the store, my photo order was not ready per my email confirmation yesterday. They did not offer when it would potentially be ready & were apathetic.
I've been on hold 3 times for about 10-15 minutes each time and get hung up on. I've been waiting on my presentation sense yesterday morning and have heard anything back and they are not answering the phone.
I wish I could go back to Walgreens again the only reason I go to CVS because my insurance. My ran out of medication and CVS was not able to call her doctor for a refill. Never had this bad service before.
Lisa helped me with a photo order I was having trouble with at my local CVS. I drove 15 minutes to get the help she promised and won't mind coming back to this location in the future. Thank you Lisa!
Pharmacy said it would take over an hour to fill a prescription that every other cvs has filled in 5 minutes because there is no dividing pills, just putting a label on a box and handing it over.
This store sold me expired beer, refused a refund/exchange then accused me of stealing a new case as I was walking out with the bad beer I had already purchased. Joke of an establishment.
The cashiers and managers need to to be trained better. They do not know what they are doing. I had a horrible experience tonight. I wish I could leave 0 stars. It’s that bad there.
I’m always waiting 20 min at the drive thru line even if the prescription is called in the night before. Even though this is the most convenient cvs, I’m going to switch locations.
The store doesn’t open on time! The hours are 0800 to midnight. I sat in the parking lot from 0800 to 0820 and it never opened up for business! What a waste! And unprofessional!
My insurance requires me to go to CVS. But this location is consistently the slowest and has the worst service. I'm actually in the drive thru right now. Waiting for days....
How is this pharmacy still in business? Comically bad service. My 4 year-old's lemonade stand is more organized than this place. I will never fill a prescription here again.
The lady in the pharmacy literally lied to me in front of my face. She shut down early and was rude and disrespectful. Trash place you can tell by the reviews
This place looks like a messy dollar store. I'd much prefer to go somewhere else. But it's 1 block from my house, and my new insurance only allows CVS.
Worst experience at a pharmacy. Ended up being at cvs for 2 hours. Go somewhere else. I also never write reviews, but this experience made me so angry.
Not a great experience any time we are in store or in the drive thru. Unfortunately. For sure taking our prescriptions in the future somewhere else.
If I could give a zero star I would. This place is unprofessional. Extremely slow even on orders that have been present before going to pick up.
Absolutely terrible. Almost five hours to get a prescription filled. CVS management needs to take note of what is going on here. It's absurd.
Came back to this cvs and it changed.. I’m so glad they restock my Arizona green tea! And the pharmacist ngan is always here to help me!
I’ve been in Waffle House bathrooms that were cleaner than this cvs. I don’t even think a homeless man would have used the bathroom.
I don't normally go to this store, but the pharmacy staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was in and out with no trouble.
I would love to rate this ZERO stars. Absolute worst pharmacy I've ever used. The lack of customer service is off the charts.
Love love love this place, its organized ,always clean and has the best people ever ,they are nice and funny I recommend
Customer service is not great. They need to work on their manners and act like they like their job at least.
Absolutely the worst service ever. Prescriptions are never ready on time and the wait is ridiculous.
Not a bad place for medicaton needs, but have to waite for even hour to get. I hate the wait time.
Mr Bidi (pharmacist) was not wearing a mask. Multiple customers in the store with no mask also.
went to get my libre prescription and the pharmacist was super nice and helpful thank you !
I arrived at 11:30 pm and asked for help from the staff but they refused to help me
Showed up at 10:30 and Ngan Tran stated she closes at 11 and cant help me.
Just waited on hold for the pharmacy for 15 minutes. Finally, I hung up.
Awful service, poorly organized. I would not recommend this pharmacy.
Very rude staff at the pharmacy! Just go to walgrins across the road
This is by far the funniest collection of reviews I have ever seen.
Store manager Andrew is racist i wouldn't shop at this store again.
Not very clean and they do t have a very good cosmetics selection.
The right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing!!!
Nothing in Stock. Long lines. Very confused personnel.
Picked up a few items I needed. Good customer service
Andrew is a great manager, the place is clean now !
Good selection of products and friendly staff.
Terrible pharmacy "service." None to be exact.
Horrible service.
