My wife and I arrived at this location's drive-through at 10:30 a.m. today, and not only was it an unpleasant experience, but it also negatively impacted our day. As we approached the window, a woman whose name was either Litaya or Liya — I'm unsure of the correct spelling — approached it with attitude and a frown. Two of my senses were able to perceive her appearance. Either she had a negative attitude toward someone before our arrival, or she simply did not want to be at work today. She asked us what we wanted, and despite not being as cordial as expected in customer service, she was tolerable throughout the entire conversation. In the midst of the transaction, when we ask questions, either she is not answering or she is answering because she does not want us there. At one point, I ask to speak to someone else in order to complete the transaction, and a man, who I assume is the physician, arrives. When he arrived, he inquired about the issue. As I was explaining to the gentleman, Litaya or Liya abruptly interrupted the conversation I was having with someone who was ostensibly her superior. In her own words, she stated, "Yes, this is my name." You may inform anyone about me. She was flipping her badge id so I could see her name and pointing with her finger. That was a treat for me and my family for pointing her finger. I believe that was one of the most disrespectful customer service interactions I have ever witnessed at CVS. Since moving to Indianapolis, I have always had a positive experience at this location.
I had the worst experience at this CVS pharmacy. I was sent over from the CVS at 71st and Binford to pick up my prescription because they were out. I was rudely not help by the pharmacist Caroline Koester a manager. She refused to fill my script said I needed an electronic script in which my doctors office currently doesn't use. The pharmacist from the Binford location stated I didn't need to have a electronic script in order to get my script there. I called to reverify this and she stated I didn't need a electronic script. Caroline Koester (Manager) refused even after speaking to the Pharmacist at the other location. She put that pharmacist on hold for no reason because she didn't want to assist me. I told her the pharmacist was calling and she answered the phone 6 calls ahead of you. That was not true. After waiting nearly 40 mins she spoke to the CVS Binford pharmacist and still refused to refill my script. The CVS Binford pharmacist contact other CVS locations and they agreed with her. Caroline Koester (Manager) with CVS located at 7240 E. 82nd refused to help me, was extremely rude. I had the most horrible experience at the CVS at 7240 E. 82nd street. I left there and went to the CVS at 56th and Emerson and was able to get my script filled without and electronic script being sent over.
This is a good CVS right here. The security guy even helped me try to find a product I was looking for. There is one cashier tho that acts like she is too good for the job and is usually playing with her nails or her phone and never smiles or even tried to be cordial. I've tried joking with her or even just tried to make her smile and I can't crack that egg. She just does not like people it seems like but she is working a cash register at a Retail Pharmacy. If she doesn't like people she really should be thinking about a career change. The one thing you find in common in most of my reviews is that the business is usually very good and doing what they advertise and having what they advertise. It's always the people that are working for them that screw up a better review or rating. I still give this CVS a 5 star rating because I won't hold the business responsible for one person trying to sink the ship and not really even putting effort in to doing that. They just end up doing it thru their actions or inactions in a lot of cases. If you want to find what you need and it's at CVS or advertised at CVS then this is a very good one to visit. Take care all. Peace!!!
If you have anywhere to be or anything to do besides sit in line don’t come to this CVS. Every single time I go through their drive-through it takes a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes to get my prescription, even if there is only one car in front of me. They have two lanes but are constantly messing up and not alternating lanes so they’ll serve two people in one lane before the actual next person in the other lane. Also, if someone’s prescriptions are taking an extra long time to fill they won’t have them pull up, they just make everyone wait while they get them filled. I have never seen such inefficiency at a pharmacy before and I’m going to be switching my prescriptions elsewhere because I don’t have two hours free every time I need to pick up a prescription. One time when I was in the second lane and it was my turn next and they went to help the person in the first lane again even though they had arrived after me and I had already been waiting TWENTY FIVE MINUTES I pointed it out that I was next in line and then the pharmacy tech got attitude with me and was extremely unprofessional. This pharmacy is horribly run and I do not recommend it to anyone.
Be Aware !! For starters, I purchased a food item at CVS across the street from Community Hospital North ! The item was purchased within 1 day of me trying to return it and wasn't opened. Because I have that right to buy goods and services and return them. So upon trying to return the item, with my receipt, which was a joke !! I was told by a very rude, badly dressed cashier named Claire. I think that was his name, which said "CVS CANNOT ACCEPT ANY FOOD ITEMS for return" I then, spoke to the store manager Megan, and was told again that per Store policy, " NO FOOD ITEMS CAN BE RETURNED BECAUSE OF CROSS CONTAMINATION!! Where is this posted in their store !! WHERE WHAT A CROC !!! So I contacted CVS corporate and they didn't help at all. What a waste of my time. I just decided to take my food items to another CVS location and it was returned without all the nonsense ! And may I add, with BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A SMILE !! Better dressed front cashier too ! So if you decide to go to purchase any food items here !! BE AWARE !! GET THEIR CROSS CONTAMINATION POLICY FIRST !!!
I went in to this store about about 12-1pm on 12/20/2019. I did some brief shopping and went to a register where a man (manager) was standing behind the counter and he asked one girl working a register, what she was doing and she said she was looking for a file for someone under the customer's name. The man said, "well that would be under the first letter of the name" she was already looking for. It was so rude, what he did and the other customers saw it too. A manager that has nothing better to do than micromanage the performance minute by minute has no reason to be a manager. I would think he'd be doing more productive work picking up cigarette butts in the parking lot. Why would an employee ever be able to learn something on their own if the manager was always standing over them to jump in and be ridiculing of everything they did. As a customer, I won't be going back to that store. If I was an employee, I'd quit.
Unbelievable the treatment I received today. I was feeling so bad all I wanted was my prescription. Every question I asked this lady didn’t want to answer nor did she even want to help me. I even asked her did I do something wrong? I had to leave the drive-thru to come in and speak with a manager because I felt it was important this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Not one time did she apologize or even look at me. The male behind the counter did come out and help me and was very nice but I still never received an apology. What I can’t understand is why? I’m SO confused after reading SO many complaints about the rudeness from the pharmacy staff WHY has nothing been done. At first I thought maybe she was just having a bad day but this store obviously has customers complaining often about the pharmacy staff. I mean... she was extremely rude I will NEVER go there again.
I had found out I was pregnant and the lpn sent over prenatals. Four hours later I called and they said they never got the prescription. After calling the doctor the sent a verbal one and I called cvs to see when it would be ready an hour later. The pharmacist I spoke to was the rudest person I ever met and acted like the entire thing was a huge inconvenience for her. She asked for my address and I asked whether she wanted my mailing address or living address and she practically yelled “the one I would find if i looked you up in the system.” When she finally found my prescription she rudely said “the doctor gave little to no information” annoyed and “I don’t know if I even have this be here at 830”. I’ve always went to cvs and have never had an experience even close to this one. After this I refuse to go to this pharmacy. Don’t waste your time
My recent experiences here involved me having to make 4 separate trips to get medications that were all ready for refill the first day. Each time I was having to tell them there should be more on there to refill, then was told it would be a few hours. I would come back next day and was told same thing again, and again. On the last trip I was told my last medication could not be transferred to that location, then the person working there announced my prescription from across the pharmacy, violating my HIPPA rights in front of others. She said, “your _____ cannot be transferred here because it is a controlled substance!” It was embarrassing and unprofessional. I will be going back to get their name and complete an HHA complaint.
Pharmacy staff is extremely rude and always act like you're a huge inconvenience to them. This is confusing because their job is literally to fill your prescriptions. I always have my information and form of payment ready, and always have a positive attitude, so I don't understand why the staff acts the way they do. Also, they can't be bothered to pick up the phone. I called Walgreens to transfer all my prescriptions to their pharmacy since I will no longer be giving this place my business. The staff at Walgreens asked why I was transferring, and they said they've had other people come in and say the same thing and have taken their business to Walgreens instead of CVS as well. This location is the worst.
I placed a curbside pickup order that was supposed to be ready in one hour. After waiting over an hour I went to the store and was told that the manager cannot access the curbside system and my order couldn’t be processed until after 2:00 when the next manager arrived. I used my $10 off curbside pickup but since I had to cancel that order I lost that coupon. I was never informed that my order would not be ready. I think calling another manager to get the password would be a reasonable, and pretty simple, solution. I also asked if I could still purchase at the store and use the $10.00 coupon that I had tried to use before but was told no.
Wife just got out of the hospital across the street and I asked the lady behind the counter if they could fill the script tonight. After she tried to weasel out of it because they closed in 30 minutes she said yeah I guess. I asked if my wife needed to be in here she said yes. My wife walked all the way in while in an immense amount of pain while standing and she said she didn’t need her in here. She didn’t have a name tag on and she wouldn’t say her name. She was African American, had corn rows, and prescription glasses. Won’t do business here again. Completely disrespectful. Totally unprofessional. Absolutely unnecessarily rude.
Everything's been great with this CVS until tonight. So I get my text saying my script is ready like always @ 6:42 pm. I show up at 6:54 pm & the gates are closed, so I go in and they are as well. So the pharmacist says their registers shut down at 6:15....WHAT!!!! So you let me know my script was ready, knowing that I wouldn't be able to get them but sent my alert they're ready anyways Unbelievable! Customer service representative available for CVS right now plz! Seems their text alerts need to be modified on a time basis immediately! Other than that I love CVS
Stopped in on 1/28/21, to purchase 1 item. Myself and about 5 other customers stood in line for over 10 minutes, because the customer at the register was trying to use and old unreadable cvs extracare card. And apparently the female that was working the register that evening didn’t have the common sense to call for another cashier, or have the customer sign up for a new card. She was only purchasing 3-4 items and held the line up. Every customer in line including myself walked out. The cashiers need more training. In my opinion. Not a good look for this location.
I got so much unbelievable kindness today from your employees. My company vehicle ran out of gas in the middle of the street right in front of your parking lot. My phone died which I was using the maps to get around Indy for my work. I had just picked up my client from his day services when all of this happened. Your employees gave us a gallon in gas so we could make to a gas station. Thank you so much for your amazing hopisiplity you are the reason that I got my client home and also myself. Thank you once again for accommodating us when we needed it!
Dropped script at this cvs for the first time ever and they said it would take an hour... not a busy day and my normal wait is 15 ninutes. No biggie, come back 3 hours later, sit at the window for 10 minutes before anyone greets me and then tell my my script will take 10 more minutes so I had to circle around at this point there was 4 cats waiting. Now I’m late for work because something that takes 10 minutes took over 3 hours at this CVS. I recommend driving 2 minutes to a different location
If you’re going to have a cashier as rude and unhelpful as Fredricka, at least have the self checkout open so the customers can avoid dealing with her. Didn’t get greeted when I approached the checkout, didn’t ask me for my ExtraCare card or number, and I had to tell her to apply my coupons because she was not going to do it. This is not the first but the SECOND time I’ve had this experience with her. She treats the customers like an utter inconvenience and honestly looks miserable.
Before today I have had nothing but good experience with this location, Today a lady named Megan was very rude and rushful so much so I didn’t even want to continue my request. We all get overwhelmed at our jobs but you never are to take it out on the customer or clients you are in a role were excellent customer service is expected I did not get that today I will be calling there hirer ups to complain in hopes that this will not happen to someone of the elderly community.
I walked in and did not know what to expect this early morning, got everything I needed and came to the cashier, Mrs, Chris was a sweet heart, her customer care service was the most inviting and she also saved me a lot of money from the drinks she had on sale for that day! I am so happy I came to this location! Chris thank you for helping me, to the manager Rob, you are a blessing to this location! Thank you both so much and Happy Holidays
This is one of the worst pharmacies I have ever been to. So ridiculously slow and the worst customer service. I put in a refill request over a week ago and they still haven't filled it yet. They don't follow up with doctors to get refill request in timely. Something as important as medication, I believe they should care more. I no longer go here as they just don't care about getting people their medication on time.
I called and was told my prescriptions would be done in an hour. I show up 90 minutes later and was told I would have to wait 30 minutes for one prescription. After 20 minutes, I was then told that the pharmacist had to call my doctor because of an interaction. This should have been taken care of three hours before right after I called!!!!! I understand they are busy, but don't lie to your customers.
Very disappointed with this location regarding their hours. I originally transferred my prescription needs to CVS when this was a 24 hour pharmacy. Of course that ended some time back. But they were still a 24 hour store which met some of my needs. Now they are neither. So since their prices are high and they aren't open in the morning before work I think I will look for a better option.
There are literally 4 women working in the pharmacy right now refusing to answer the phone. We tried calling and couldn’t get through after waiting for 15 minutes. So we drove up there and we watched as these four women just walked around the phone that was constantly ringing but they had no intention of answering it. But had plenty of time to have personal conversations. Unbelievable.
Terrible service from the pharmacy at this location. We had to switch to here from Meijer and NEVER have a good experience when we come to pick up perscription . They ALWAYS have an excuse as to while perscriptions are not filled by the time they say they are going to be filled. I hate coming to this pharmacy. I wish I could give this cvs multiple bad reviews. It’s TERRIBLE!
I was calling CVS Geist Crossing and I was waiting for 25 minutes. I tried calling this location and in a minute somebody replied. I think that I should stop ordering my meds Dilt and eliquis and order from this location instead. It was so frustrating that I can’t talk to no one when all I want is to ask if if it is ok to take Tylenol since I am taking Dilt and Eloquis!
I am pregnant and went to get tested today. The rude pharmacist demonstrated swabbing my cheeks but then said no you are suppose to do your nose. She was very unclear and I questioned if test would work and she shrugged her shoulders and said put sample in the container. I wonder how many others she has misguided! Regardless I went elsewhere to get another test done.
The pharmacy here is a joke. They said my order was ready for pickup. Went the next day and they said it was going to be 20 min. because there still working on it. 30 mins later it still hasn’t be filled even though I sat in the waiting area. They just keep working on everyone’s else that’s not sitting here waiting. The WORST customer service!
Always slow, doesn't matter if you drop off Prescription or it's called in. And it's always 15 to 20 min. But it's really a hr. or more. 5/10/2023 Update I'm there getting band-aids, and walk to pharmacy, they close, yes it's 8 pm but I'm at the counter, was told nope, it's 8pm. Guessing I'll change where I get my medicine. It won't be here.
My insurance was giving me issues and only approving a lower dose than originally prescribed. The pharmacist (male) & pharm tech (blonde female) were extremely helpful in letting me know how to handle the situation and generously giving me a hold over supply while it was getting resolved. Very grateful for that.
Waited at the checkout for minutes before I was helped and when she came back she grabbed her phone instead of ringing me out. and got on a phone call having a whole conversation while checking me out. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this at this store I won’t be coming back the employees just seem careless
Although I am not that frequent of a shopper here, this CVS has always given me great service. I got a prescription filled here today and they were quick and friendly. And if I ever come here, even late at night, the workers are helpful. Much better than Walgreens on Shadeland and CVS on Fall creek and 79th.
The staff in this store and at the pharmacy are extremely rude. They do not care about their customers. It is impossible to reach this store by phone. Everytime I call I wait for at least an hour and never get an answer. This store is a disgrace to all CVS stores. I can't stand having to deal with them!
The store was clean, tidy, and the shelves were fully stocked. I didn't care for the way the manager interacted with employees in front of customers. He had a terrible attitude and was carrying a baby around the entire time I was there. I certainly wouldn't work for somebody like that.
Pharmacy staff does not keep commitments for RXs, stating things will be delivered via special order next day but the items never show up. Pharmacy staff is not proactive to try and contact medical providers to change RX to accomodate what items they do have in stock.
I agree they really are and I call in a bp script and pick up a couple scripts and get ready to take bp and realize its not bp med ! SO What the Hell ! I call and tech says " I don't know how that happened I am just a pharmacy tech "! OMG ! I am done with this Store !
Another 1 star review to add to their long list of them. Poor service, extremely slow and unattentive staff and don't even waste your time at the drive thru they will completely ignore you. Like literally get it together!!! Where is their management or leadership??
Called about Minute Clinic and pharmacy lady was super rude. In the middle of a pandemic, I'll have to inside to speak to someone because this lady can't go "Hey, this customer on the phone has a question. Would you mind?" Consistently mess up my fiancés meds, too.
Poor service! I stood for 10 minutes and not one of the techs or pharmist said hello or we will be right with you. It's everytime I come in there. There was no one else waiting and the person in the drive thru got helped before I did even though I was there first.
I've never had anything but problems with this location. Call in a script and they say it takes and hour to fill. Show up an hour and half later and they say another 45 minutes. It's always a problem here. If there is another location near you, use it and not here
Pharmacy has awful customer service. Everyone is understaffed and working extremely hard, that doesn't mean you turn customers away because you have a lot to do. I will be contacting manager although Ive heard bad things about management as well.
I have never been to this pharmacy and just picked up prescription, there has been a problem everytime. Always something that was dropped, the staff is normally very friendly, and its clean. But its never been as simple as just picking up script
I’ve been having an issue with a prior authorization for multiple weeks. I was at a different store then I usually fill today but I asked about the medication to see what was going on with it and the woman working the counter was the rudest
Don't bother calling. They don't answer their phone. It seems like they are overworked and understaffed. Which is more the company's fault than the employees but it's very frustrating for me since I need to go here for my prescriptions.
This pharmacy has the worst possible customer service available. Long wait times and no one knows what they are doing. If they are unhappy with their jobs then get a new job that doesn’t require dealing with people in need.
The pharmacy staff at 7240 East 82nd st. Indianapolis IN, 46256 should be under review. I went to the drive thru and was treated terribly! One tech specifically used intimidating tactics and made me feel very unsafe.
This is my favorite CVS in Indiana. I have several prescriptions each month and they are always friendly, professional and quickest CVS I've ever been to. I recommend this CVS store over any other!
Stopped by to get my flu shot. Store was steady with people. Got taken care of right away by the new friendly team In the pharmacy. Great job by all. I’ll be back to this location more frequently.
This pharmacy is better than most but the attitudes of some of the techs is just unbelievable. I do really like the pharmacists through, they are thorough and take time out to help how they can.
This pharmacy and it’s manager Carolyn is extremely unprofessional and very discriminatory! Glad Walgreens is up the way from them! Avoid at all cost. I appreciate the store layout however.
Never answer the phone. Never intended to answer the phone. Said hold got off the line. No conversation. They did this twice. Never answer the phone never intended to answer the phone.
They lost my prescription twice... filled it. Couldn't find it, ordered and filled it again and couldn't find it again. Will update if they manage to have it the thrid time around.
Completely irresponsible staff. Especially when it came to COVID testing. Steer clear of this place. A bunch of clowns. I would give a negative number if it were possible.
The pharmacist here is the best very prompt helps me out whenever I need very knowledgeable thank you very much. Brian the other people very unprofessional.
Failure to open on time and consistent lack of service when trying to buy locked up products . Horrible CVS , go to the Walgreens down Hague if possible .
The (older woman) heavy set cashier is very rude and nasty for no reason at all. Should anyone need assistance with an item, you may NOT want to ask her.
Outside of weeks they are being surveyed, they are very slow. They have a habit of not filling prescriptions even when you're advised they're ready.
Not a 24-hr pharmacy as advertised!! The store is open 24 hours but the pharmacy itself has VERY LIMITED HOURS. Why else does anyone go to CVS?
Not 24 hour pharmacy. Please tell us this somewhere before we get here trying to fill a script for our sick toddler in the middlw of the night.
I went here tonight to try to get my friend who was having an allergic reaction some allergy pills and they were closed over an hour early.
Had a bad experience with the Pharmacy drive-thru last week and again today, very rude/disrespectful. Will be changing locations.
it is clean and there are helpful staff in there. What I love about this pharmacy it is 24 hours open and near to the hospital
Not 24 hour pharmacy. Pharmacy closes at 9pm. Also not a safe location with homeless drug addicts loitering in the parking lot
This place is god awful no mater when I come I wait 30 mins to get my medicine that’s ready all you gotta do is hand it to me
Guy name Moises saved my life by telling me Alka-Seltzer wasn’t candy and it was medicine definitely a life saver
I use this CVS all the time. I am in there just about every day. The staff at this location are so rude ..
I hate cvs SO MUCH they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE AND ALWAYS MESS MY ORDERS UP I HATE THIS PLACEEEEEEEEEEEE
Don't get your pictures printed here. Mine keep coming out with a blue tint. Time to learn my lesson.
The pharmacy staff is extremely rude and for that reason, I will never step foot in the store again
Ms Gwen, Rob and the rest of the staff are all top tier with customer service!!
lady name chris rude very unprofessional no wonder this location has 2 stars
So, given all of your disclaimers, I should keep my thoughts to myself...
Absolutely terrible place to get tested for covid. Slow and very rude.
Go somewhere else. Total joke every time I try to fill a prescription.
I really wish the drive thru pharmacy did not take so long.
Always clean and employees are friendly and knowledgeable.
Pharmacy is closed at 9:40pm Supposed open until 12am
Good service, the CVS care card is really worth it.
The coolest CVS in the city. Efficient as well!
Not a 24 hr pharmacy. What a waste of time.
Pretty good place to buy snacks
Very friendly and helpful staff
They don’t answer the telephone
Excellent pharmacy service!
Very friendly helpful place
You can get tokes at there
Horrible customer service.
Nice atmosphere!
Not 24 hrs
Very rude
Love it
Good
