Ca Dalisera is a wonderful find. They get their first star for the location. They are right by the taxi boat stop so you won't be lugging your luggage for very long. They are also very close to all the tourist locations. They are literally three streets down from the Pallazo. You can be in the middle of one of the most beautiful settings in Venice in two minutes at a leisurely stroll. They get their second star for service. There technically isn't a reception desk at the location so you must call them when you arrive at the airport (there are pay offices at the airport in case you can't use your cell phone). Once you arrive, you will be greeted and have to pay (they only accept cash). They then explain how the wifi works and the locks. Additionally, they set up little breakfasts for the guests in the morning. Because of Italian law, it's all packaged (no eggs or any hot food). But they provide wonderful pastries and juice. You may also get coffee and cereal as well. This is a good little snack to have early so you can go straight to exploring Venice rather than paying a fortune on breakfast food and allowing other tourists a head start at key venues. They get another star for the room. The rooms are pretty small, but you won't be spending much time in them so it doesn't matter much. They come with a basic bed and areas to put your stuff. The bathroom is very nice as well. We came in June and they don't have the air conditioner set up by default. We were given the option to pay extra for air conditioning and just had the windows open at night which was more than sufficient. They get their fourth star for the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly. You're not treated more like a friend than a guest (which might not be for everyone). But it was nice to be able to chat with the staff and see them laugh. The final star is earned for miscellaneous reasons. Staying here feels like you're in on a secret or gives a very small idea of what it must feels like to live as a local. Their door looks just like any other door in Venice and it feels nice to come to what feels like a home rather than a hotel. The security is also a plus. If you're looking for an experience that isn't about being in an elaborate hotel, then I couldn't recommend Ca Dalisera more. I hope to update this review soon with some tips and tricks that we learned.

Siamo stati ospiti di questo B&B per una settimana ad ottobre 2019, in occasione del Premio Venezia, ambitissimo concorso pianistico al quale il mio ragazzo era stato invitato a partecipare. La zona in cui si trova è centralissima ed immersa nella storia, a due passi da Piazza San Marco e dal Teatro La Fenice ove si svolgeva l'evento. La camera (verde, n°3) era accogliente, completamente arredata e veniva rassettata regolarmente, MA: *non arrivava segnale di rete sul cellulare; *non arrivava il segnale Wi-Fi della struttura (è sufficiente un range extender per rimediare); *inoltre, - puntualizzo perché il sito ufficiale del B&B ne fa un punto di forza - la "smart tv" non riceveva il segnale internet per poter navigare in rete (non si poteva mettere Netflix per vedere un film la notte, per capirci). Poca scelta per la colazione, ma considerando il prezzo è del tutto comprensibile. La questione che più mi pesa e mi fa abbassare il numero di stelle della recensione è stato il modo di porsi del proprietario del B&B, il sig. Michelangelo, un uomo rinascimentale e dalla grande parlantina, che intratteneva tutti gli ospiti con le sue conoscenze storiche e letterarie. Forse, proprio per questo motivo, non capisco tuttora per quale motivo continuasse a darci spregiativamente l'appellativo di "sardegnoli", in quanto SARDI. Per chi non lo sappia, "sardegnolo" indica una razza di asino. Passi la prima volta in cui lo avevamo corretto con garbo, anche se ci risultava poco credibile che un uomo di una cultura simile non sapesse si tratti di un insulto. Questo modo di esprimersi è proseguito: addirittura un giorno ci raccontava, in uno dei suoi discorsi, di un cliente sardo con cui aveva avuto dei problemi e non faceva che inserire il termine "sardegnolo" con nonchalance ovunque, arrecandoci offesa e disagio. È stata la prima volta che una persona mi si sia rivolta in questo modo offensivo solo per la mia provenienza, ma non dovrei stupirmi: d'altronde, siamo nel 2020 e questo genere di vicende avviene tutt'oggi in tutta Italia, come se fosse normalità. Tutto sommato ci tornerei, ma l'educazione non va trascurata.

This was a fantastic find. I was a little concerned about getting there (you have to call them when you land at the airport so they will be there when you check in - there are payphones at the airport, 1€ per minute) but it was easy to call them and they were ready for us by the time we reached the hotel. Have the address with the door number with you because they don't have a sign. They buzz you in (push the door) and you enter an empty, unlit foyer. It was a little creepy at first, but that's just how Venitian buildings are so don't be surprised. Their door is up the stairs and to the left, where you can check in. The people are amazing and kind. They know English, and are very friendly. They explained everything clearly. The room was clean (exactly as it appears in their photos) and the private bathroom was quite nice. Each morning they have breakfast for you at 8:30. It is pastries and juice, and by Italian law they can only serve prepackaged food. Don't expect a hot meal. But it comes with the price of the room (which is quite cheap to begin with) so it's a nice way to get something in your stomach before you begin your adventures of the day. This is more of a hostel B&B, so don't expect a full hotel accommodation. They give you the room key then say goodbye. No employee stays on site. You can call their cell any time, but you need access to a phone to do that (or an international plan). I never needed to call them during my stay, though. Note that they are there every morning for breakfast, cleaning rooms, and checkout so you don't need to worry about calling them to check out. They can hold onto your bags after checkout, too, so you can still walk around Venice the day you leave. Bags aren't locked, but kept at the hotel with cameras. Overall I was very comfortable, and the location is amazing (a two minute walk from San Marco). Plenty of shops around to browse, and there are many great sites only a short walk away. I highly recommend it.

I stayed in the room for three nights and have a few suggestions/points before you book. Pro - The location is great. - The room is fine. The shower door was broken, and the owner is unable to repair or replace it, so the room requires an upgrade. The check-in process was simple. They will send you a code and instructions via email. Con - The owner does not understand English, and it is difficult to communicate with him. - The owner only comes in the morning and speaks loudly. Every morning, I hear him fighting between the cleaner or a bang on the wall (looks like he is fixing stuff). It's difficult to sleep. - Check out felt like he wanted us to leave so he could prepare for the next guest. - There will be no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion in the room. - They can come to your room every day, and there is no sign on the door prohibiting them from entering. On the first day, they fixed the bed and left my baby doll inside the sheet, as well as a rippled towel in my room. This shows to me that they are inept at cleaning. When I told them not to clean it the next day, they showed up without saying anything and took the rippled towel. SMH So, personally, I would not recommend it to anyone. It was my first time booking a B&B and it will be my last.

St Mark's Basilica

A very well located place. It's super close to the attractions in Venice. It also feels like a very safe neighborhood, which was really nice when we were wandering around in the evenings. The owner doesn't speak english, but this was not a problem for us at all. The place is family run and most of his family spoke english and were able to assist us with check-in. They were really really responsive to our messages and were in constant communication with us making our check in and out completely seamless - even with a language barrier. I would not let this deter you from staying here - it was totally fine! The room is nothing fancy, but it's comfortable enough and well located. My only complaint is that the street below our room was quite noisy - lots of people coming and going at all hours of the night. If you plan on enjoying Venice's nightlife, this may not be a problem for you, but it's a bit annoying if you're early sleepers. Once we closed all the windows, we found that helped with the noise.

Sono stata in questo B&B per il mio compleanno a Venezia,posizione centralissima. Il B&B si trova in uno stabile d’epoca al primo piano (poche scale), solo l’ingresso del palazzo è un po’ fatiscente. La camera è molto carina con affaccio nel vicoletto. Uniche pecche la pulizia e la colazione! Sotto al letto c’è uno strato di polvere come se non avessero spazzato da mesi e tende nere che dovrebbero essere lavate. La colazione non è fornitissima: giusto un caffè/cappuccino (niente cioccolata calda), un po’ di latte e cereali, fette biscottate con due marmellatine (niente nutella), un cornetto imbustato che faceva paura solo a guardarlo. La colazione potrebbe essere migliorata (casomai con yogurt, biscotti vari, un tostapane con pancarrè), e dovrebbe migliorare anche il carattere del proprietario un po’ troppo ostile ed autoritario! Per gestire un B&B ci dev’essere prima di tutto gentilezza e cortesia. In ogni caso tutte cose facilmente migliorabili, il soggiorno è andato bene, ci ritornerei!

Only downside is that the owner doesn't speak English and the shower had really low water pressure. But beside that, room was clean, the owner was really really friendly, rooms service was nice and the location to price ratio is unbeatable! Very recommended if you want a cheap but nice stay in Venice!

Excelente estancia y a una cuadra de la Plaza de San Marcos, despues de tener tu reserva confirmada puedes escribir o llamar a los teléfonos y ahi te atienden sin problemas y llamas minutos antes de llegar para que te abran y no esperes afuera con tu equipaje. Cuando entregas la habitación ellos guardan tu equipaje el tiempo que necesites sin problema alguno. Las habitaciones estan remodeladas, con una cama muy comoda en cada habitación, el wifi llega a todas las habitaciones sin problemas y el desayuno en justo lo que necesitas o justo por lo que pagas, mi familia y yo nos quedamos el 18 de Octubre y ocupamos las 4 habitaciones que tiene este hotel, todas separadas y todas con baño y sin llaves, el acceso el por medio de claves o tarjetas que te proporcionan al llegar. Se los recomiendo ampliamente, es muy comodo y seguro.

Great location. Clean room and bathroom. A little but cold and there was no heating.. air conditioning costs more.. there were two windows that overlooked to the uncovered place between 2 buildings. There was some noise from the renovation that was going on somewhere in the building. We paid a very reasonable price for Friday night compared to other places even though there was an extra charge of 15 euros because of our 1-night stay. Everything is stated on the online reservation form-there are bo hidden costs. No breakfast. The owner (I guess..not sure) proposed to make us some coffee because there was nothing open so early on a Saturday morning, which was very polite of him. He didn’t speak any English but he was nice. In general good choice for such a central location.

This accommodation lives up to its promises, which is about the best that can be said. To start with the good it was clean and the hosts were friendly. We stayed in hot and humid June, which is sadly before the allowed air conditioning period starting July. This is despite the fact that a radiating vent from an adjoining room continually blew hot air into our room. Our 'private entrance' room had a glass door to a courtyard, which meant that the smokers who turned up for a cigarette and a chat at 4am woke us up and had to be asked to move on. Add to this the inconvenience of cash only payments and waiting for a room inspection before we were 'permitted' to leave. Recommended only for the cash-strapped in the off season.

Bellissimo B&B, al primo piano di un antichissimo palazzo, si trova a 200 metri dalla piazza San Marco di VENEZIA e a 100 metri dal traghetto, ben collegato con la stazione e i restanti punti strategici della città. Il Bed-and-breakfast ha camere comode e accoglienti, la colazione servita a confezione è abbondante e il personale è sempre disponibile per eventuali richieste, il proprietario molto disponibile e preparato per darvi i giusti consigli per visitare ogni angolo di questa stupenda città. Io ci sono andato con la mia ragazza e ho passato un bellissimo weekend in pieno relax e divertimento, Vi consigli di sceglierlo in quanto comodo per visitare della città e dello shopping, io ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Nos alojamos 2 noches, si bien la habitación no es moderna, el baño está actualizado, lo que es destacable!. La habitación era calurosa, muchos mosquitos, y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba. La ubicación y el precio es muy bueno, a metros de la plaza San Marco, pero hay que alejarse un poquito para conseguir precios más accesibles de comidas/panadería. El check in es autogestiónado y luego realizan la limpieza de la habitación todos los días. Lo pasamos lindo, pero habría cosas para mejorar. ☺️

My friend and I stayed here for three nights during Carnival and had a fantastic stay. The location is great (easy access and near St Mark’s Square). It’s in a nice part of town on a relatively quiet street. Our room was clean and the host (Riccardo senior?) was a gem. He didn’t speak much English but was warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Some FYIs: This is in an apartment building (not a hotel), there is no elevator but it is only one short flight of stairs, the bathroom has a small stall shower (common in most of Europe), they do not allow eating in the rooms, they do tidy up your room during the day. Grazie per un viaggio perfetto!

Siete ad un centinaio di metri da Piazza San Marco, a prezzi imbattibili. La camera accogliente e calda. Lo stile della camera e della sala colazioni sono pienamente veneziane e la colazione è stata come tutte le colazioni "imbustate" causa covid ma la disponibilità di Michelangelo (il proprietario) è fuori dal comune. Per chi ha voglia di ascoltarlo, se non si va di fretta, ha tante chicche interessanti da regalare sulla storia e sulle curiosità di Venezia. Esperienza da ripetere a meno di 50 metri dalla fermata del vaporetto "San Marco Vallaresso". Più comodi non si poteva stare. Grazie Michelangelo per la tua disponibilità e simpatia.

It was not a good expirience. The place is top ten great for location... and that can mean the price. Because the service is not good. The rooms are hot and everything is counted in additional payment...as if you want air conditioning ! There is not !!! If you want you have to pay 20 euro and after the 30 first of August you can forget it. There are some additional gests as fleas..I show you in the picture... and if you open the window for having air... you get the noice of the city centre. People collecting glass trash, shouting...dancing...etc Well and the guy that collects the taxes... I do not want to describe him.

Siamo stati a febbraio per due notti. Pulito, comodo (a due passi due, da Piazza San Marco), bagno in camera con ottima doccia. Il luogo ideale dove trascorrere qualche giorno per visitare la bellissima Venezia. Torneremo; Riccardo e il signor Michelangelo di una ospitalità squisita. Grazie

Excellent stay at this magnificent B&B. The hosts are wonderful and so caring. Everyday we had our room cleaned and even the little things were aligned (toothbrush, perfume...) During check-out we were able to leave our bags and when we came back to finally leave, we got greet'd with a free bottle and so much care from the kindest owners. The place is well-located, you have a boat stop right at your door and the well famous place of San Marco 1min walk away. We highly recommend you this place, you will enjoy everything about it !

We stayed for 2 nights and had a decent stay. The staff was very nice and helpful, however both the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and the room had several dead bugs on the ceiling. Also, although in the room description stated it had an hairdryer, we were told we had to ask the staff the next day for it, so couldn’t use it when we actually needed it. The breakfast was also very basic.

B&B piccino ma molto, molto bello ed elegante. Camere meravigliose, letto comodo, pulizia eccellente e un ottimo servizio per la colazione. Staff molto gentile e disponibile, davvero tutto perfetto! E poi è vicinissimo alla fermata del vaporetto e soprattutto a Piazza S.Marco! Da consigliare! ps. conviene prenotare con anticipo perchè le stanze non sono molte e vanno via in fretta! ;-)

Fatto week end del 22 ottobre 2021, il B&B è molto grazioso le camere in stile veneziano comode e pulite, il personale gentile e molto disponibile, la posizione è l'ideale a pochi i passi da San Marco, il prezzo veramente economico rispetto ad altri, lo consiglio vivamente.

The perfect place for those travelling on a budget. Very clean, very friendly staff, WiFi, smart TV. We stayed in Room 4, had a little courtyard with a table a chairs. Literally 2 mins from St Marks Square, ideal for exploring this fantastic city. You spend all day out and about so why spend hundreds on a room that is left empty most of the time. I would certainly stay here again. :-)

Ottima la posizione proprio dietro piazza San Marco, Stanza pulita unica pecca non ce il phon in camera ma il proprietario gentilissimo ce ne ha subito fornito uno l'indomani mattina, Colazione confezionata abbiamo preferito farla fuori al bar. Prezzo molto conveniente data l'ottima posizione. Se dovessimo tornare a Venezia di sicuro torneremo al ca'dalisera ci siamo trovati bene.

La ubicación perfecta, al lado de la plaza san marco, de las paradas del vaporetto, muy céntrico. El hostal inmejorable, en una calle tranquila y la habitación muy acogedora. Miguel Angel, el dueño del hostal, un encanto. Si volviera a Venezia me quedaría sin duda aquí.

La ubicación del lugar es inmejorable. Justo en la parte trasera de la plaza San Marco. El lugar muy limpio, acogedor y buen ambiente. A due passi da San Marco e dal teatro La Fenice. Un gioiellino in centro città e per un veneziano trapiantato è come sentirsi a casa, grandissimo il gestore ormai diventato amico. Siamo stati colpiti e sicuramente ci torneremo senza nessun dubbio.

4 stelle perché se si alloggia per una sola notte bisogna pagare 15 euro in più. Per il resto il b&b è pulitissimo e tenuto ben in ordine. Il proprietario è persona gentile e assolutamente disponibile. Sicuramente una soluzione economica se si vuole alloggiare a Venezia a due passi di piazza San Marco. Assolutamente consigliato

Sensationelle Lage, besser gehts nicht. Super freundliches Personal, Check In über den Automaten ist selbsterklärend und relativ einfach. Haben eine Nacht dort verbracht.

上個月連續住宿三天，但店家似乎對於顧客人身安全完全漠視，非常令人無法接受，破損的吊燈，就一直存在原位，正下方就是我們睡覺的床，反應多次皆不改善，令人錯愕與驚恐，房間地點就在陰暗的一樓4號房，潮濕偏僻，安全堪慮，住宿地點鄰近聖馬可廣場是唯一的優點。

I highly recommend this accommodation! The location is perfect, 2 minutes from St. Mark's Square. Both room and bathroom are very clean and well maintained. The owner is a wonderful man, explained everything and offered advice. On our next visit to Venice we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at room 3.. the personnel was quite nice and helpful.. the location of the hotel is perfect.. just 3 min.’s from S.Marco and vapuretto station.. although they serve b.fast don’t expect much.. while visiting Venice beware of the mosquitoes which u can also find in the rooms..

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à côté de la place San Marco pour un tarif tout à fait raisonnable. L'hôtel est propre et le petit-déjeuner est inclu, servi par le gérant lui-même :) Il ne parle pas l'anglais, mais on arrive toujours par se faire comprendre ! Bref, je recommande :)

E' qui che soggiorniamo per le nostre gite a Venezia . Locali accoglienti, ottima pulizia, personale cordiale e accogliente, e non per ultimo in posizione stupenda a due passi da Piazza San Marco.

It was a splendid stay, the location is excellent, the staff was very friendly, the whole hotel was clean. If we wanted to use the air conditioning we had to pay, we saw some people complaining about it, but it was in the spring, we didn't have to.

Ottimo b&b, in posizione splendida vicinissimo a Piazza San Marco, bella camera pulita e ben arredata. I proprietari gentilissimi e molto accoglienti.

Un hostel muy aconsejable. El trato recibido y la calidad de las habitaciones fue inmejorable. El dueño un señor muy cordial y amable. El desayuno esta muy bien. Sin duda si vuelvo a visitar Venecia ya se donde hospedarme.

Ho trascorso lo scorso weekend in questo b&b. E ' in ottima posizione , centrale e vicino ad una fermata del vaporetto. E' molto confortevole e il proprietario , il dr Michelangelo e' un ottimo padrone di casa

Great location, 2 minutes away from St Mark's Square. The rooms are in an old house and there's no lift. Good to have a modest breakfast before starting your tourist day. Value for money absolutely.

Centrale e praticamente dietro san Marco, vicino alla fermata del vaporetto. Personale gentile e competente. Michelangelo, il proprietario, è un personaggio! Grazie per l'ospitalità

Junto a Bienal, no coração de Veneza. O cais de São Marcos está a 100 metros da pousada. Há também um ponto de Gôndolas. Café da manhã bom. Acomodações boas e localização excelente.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Très bon accueil, chambre spacieuse et très propre mais surtout parfaitement situé. Rapport qualité/prix parfait ! Je recommande à 100%.

A clean room and very kind owner. The location was perfect of the Biënnale. WiFi signal was not strong enough to reach our room. But overall, very good value for your money.

Muy bonito B&B, como nuevo, muy confortable. Excelente lugar para pasar la noche en Venecia muy cerca de Plaza San Marcos. Súper recomendable.
