The menu at Cafe 0.6 had long intrigued me with it’s interesting mix of ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. I settled on a bit of a space theme with my order by choosing the Saturn Black Sesame iced coffee drink from their ‘Out of Space’ collection and the Lost in Space waffle dish. The Iced coffee is described on the menu as not too sweet, which thankfully is 100% correct. It had a subtle black sesame flavour and the espresso shot (which you mix in yourself at the table) gave a powerful coffee hit that made it a true coffee drink (rather than a milk drink). The Lost in Space was their ’signature moffle’ which is mochi x waffle with homemade salted egg sauce, peanut, black sesame ice cream & berries. Strangely I liked most of the elements individually, but not when they were combined together. The waffle I found very dense, almost tough. I loved the salted egg sauce though and would like to try that on something else. It was a beautifully presented dish, but just didn’t work for me. Located in the industrial area of Alexandria, parking was difficult during the week and I’ve heard can be tough on weekends too as it is close to some warehouse outlets. Service was very friendly though, so worth trekking back if you have to park far away!

Great coffee and even greater food. Have enjoyed every meal here, helps that the staff are very friendly also (shoutout to Bob and Jay!). The Forest Mushrooms is my favourite, but I also recommend the Dear Crabby Weather, Udon, 0.6 Poke, Duck Duck Duck, Morning Babe, Acai Bowl and the Granola Yoghurt. Anything from the Seasonal Return Menu is a guaranteed banger. Food tastes even better than it looks, which is saying something! Admittedly the Loaded Fries were only average but that's on me for having fries for breakfast lol Ooh, the camomile tea is fantastic (perfect for cold weather) and so is the Mercury (Out of Space Collection) (perfect for hot summer days) Love this place ❤️ Edited to add: • more photos! • there is a loyalty program ($1 = 1 point) - totally worth it • there's both indoor and outdoor seating, recommend booking if you want to secure indoor

Hidden gem in Alexandria which is more than a Cafe, and going Beyond Brunch, serving mouth watering nibbles, delicious mains and cheeky cocktails. For starters, we had Hiratake ( lightly battered Oyster mushrooms), 0.6 Egguccino ( which was my favourite and a must) and Corny Ribs. Then for the mains, not only where the dishes beautifully presented and too pretty to eat, but equally delish! Deep Fried Bug tail, BBQ Pork in rice dog, Poached Eggs in Steamed Bao, Beef Stew Taco and my favourite, 'The Wild Bug' - Moreton Bay Bug w/ 0.6 xo sauce served with Black Pasta. And the sweetest ending with 'Ying & Yang' which was 0.6 signature muffle (delicious although I would have preferred it to be more light and airy) with a new favourite gelato, Black Tea served with Ying Yang sauce. Thank you @cafezeropointsix for a wonderful food and cocktail experience, and can't wait to come back, and to @lickyourphone and @millenniumcommunications for another fun event. @cafezeropointsix 1a/11 Bowden St, Alexandria NSW 2015

A beautiful breakfast Cafe that now serves dinner? @cafezeropointsix invited us to the launch of their new Beyond Brunch menu. This restaurant serves up a dazzling menu of creative modern Australian, American and Asian fusion dishes. We started with a tempeh one bite that was delicious followed by some smoky corn ribs, oyster mushroom tempura and then a truffled scallop and prawn chawanmushi. That was a dream dish. Silky, luxurious topped with fish roe. They specialise in tea infused cocktails and I had a few unique ones such as a white peony tea with gin and Lychee, a drunken monk with oolong tea AJ and vodka and many others. Then came some Moreton Bay bug dishes. A Moreton Bay bug / lobster roll, a black pasta with xo sauce and Moreton Bay bugs, a BBQ pork dragon roll and Vietnamese stewed beef tacos. Beautiful, generous dishes. Loved it all. If you're in Alexandria give them a try a unique and delicious menu.

It was a very pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere with the creative decor. We have their seasonal lunch menu which was tasty and excellently presented. There were three of us and we had the Duck Duck Duck, Udon and Pesto Sandwich plus two coffees. We were quite impressed by the portion size and the effort they put into each component. But the down side would had to be that they were sold out of some items like salmon already at midday. And it was a cold day but the selection of hot drinks were limited to coffee, we were hoping to see matcha latte or other Asian fusion drinks available which their food menu have had. Overall it was a nice experience for a casual lunch with friends and would go again when they change their seasonal menu.

I'm so excited Café 0.6 in Alexandria is now going Beyond Brunch and serving dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. I loved my recent visit there. The service is friendly and efficient and the interior décor is beautiful. I highly recommend starting your dinner with one of Café 0.6's signature 'cockteals' which are a unique and delicious combination of aromatic teas and spirits. My favourite starter was the lightly battered oyster mushrooms and the decadent egguccino with its lightly steamed silky smooth egg, prawns, scallops and tobiko. For mains the must order dishes for me were the delicious deep fried bug tail roll and Moreton Bay bug dish. The BBQ pork rice roll is also full of delicious Asian flavours. In my opinion no dinner is complete without a dessert and the Café 0.6 Yin & Yang muffle dessert was the perfect way to finish off our dinner. I will definitely be returning to Café 0.6 again for dinner.

Beautiful food at reasonable price. Loved the gorgeous plating along with friendly service.

The Fairy Tail and High on Matcha was what I specifically went for, thankfully both did not disappoint. Springy deep fried bug tail covered with tangy dressing on a soft roll, so delicious. I also loved the Japanese inspired matcha dessert. The matcha sponge cake was soft & moist which was sandwiched between a thin layer of adzuki bean paste. The matcha cone was not only for the gorgeous presentation but it also added crunchy element to the dish as well as the granola. The matcha sauce on the side had the right amount of sweetness without any bitterness. The seasonal fruits simply added freshness to the whole dish. It was a perfect summery dessert.

Love this place! Would easily drive an hour to it. Although, they're only about 15 minutes walk from St Peter's train station. Have taken friends and every single time, they're impressed! Where to start: 1) easy street parking available, seconds to minutes walk away 2) staff are super passionate, warm, efficient, accommodating and inviting 3) they have loads of gluten free and vegan options (buckwheat noodle yummyness! 4) it's quirky and they sell a range of candles, teas, mugs/plates: crockery, cute gifts 5) it has an entire wall of great little eating nooks with WiFi and powerpoints for each person to plug into! 6) they have a large room off to the side you can hire 7) the interior design is simple, elegant and full of personality: think smooth lines, Japanese style. Highly recommend!!!

Good food and great service. I tried their croissant with prawns and avocado. Was yummy. Coffee was ok. Staff were courteous. Also loved the watermelon and lychee juice. Was so refreshing on a hot day. Very conveniently located next to the Sydney gut clinic. I worked in the cafe for 3 hrs and connected to wifi.

Saw photos of this cafe on Instagram and thought this place would be great, especially since they have high reviews here too. However, the staff were very busy, we asked for water three different times. The Iced Mocha was really nice but the plastic straw is a negative (would have asked to have without had I known). The Lost In Space - not appealing, its mainly just waffles and ice cream, hardly any mochi and was very plain overall. Just made me feel sick and bloated. Partner got the bao with deep fried soft shell crab and it was much too oily, dry- no sauce. Sometimes you gotta try new places and unfortunately this place just wasn’t that amazing. Much too pricey for meals that are lacking in so many areas.

  • Annie

Cute venue filled with origami decorations on the ceiling and friendly staff. The food was delicious, decent portions we were able to eat and talk and enjoy ourselves without being rushed out the door due to time restrictions. The drunks selection is cool. Would happily go again to try the other dishes. We had the wagyu poke bowl and popcorn prawn croissant.

Definitely one of my favourite cafes! Recently established, I can see this cafe going very far with their innovative and creative menu items and interior. Staff are friendly and lets you know if a dish will take a little longer than usual and are down to earth. The menu items have been well thought out so do take your time reading the menu. Also make sure to take in the atmosphere as it's beautifully set out (also has a filter tap, bonus point for me). ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Personally I'm waiting for what I call the next coffee phase: green tea/black sesame/other tea related flavour + espresso shot + milk. This blend elevates the coffee drinking experience and would convert coffee haters . ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Artistic and morden design cafe layout and deco. Healthy breakfast taste average like my homemade food. Macha french toast is pricy $24, actually it is not macha bread toasty as usual but two small pieces macha sponge cake which has very vague macha flavor, except fruit and flowers looking pretty on the plate, this dish taste rather disappointed, nothing has dominant flavor on the plate, but win on plating and looking good for photos. Also had soy chai, it tastes average. I have tried so many nice food so can be quiet picky when comes brunch. Really for this place, in my opinion, food is very average, 3.5 stars.Service 4 stars and deco is great, 5 stars.

Great coffee, nice bao’s, cute fit out, clean place and the waitress was extremely friendly, sweet and hard working. The barista dude was kinda weird, staring at me weird but is ok .. I don’t mind him. I will definitely go back for those yummy Bao’s. The place has a nice vibe and that waitress really impressed me because she was super nice and really hard working which something I highly respect and appreciate. She also has a bubbly personality, lovely smile and very welcoming, I hope everyone works in hospitality would have the same attributes, I give her 10/10 .. God bless you girl. I would recommend that place. My visit was Friday 13/05/2022 at 2pm

A very nice atmospheric cafe in Alexandria! The menu is online and the staff are very friendly. I LOVED the poke bowl. I haven't had many in my life but the brown rice mixed with the edamame, corn, tomatoes, etc is truly flavourful. I'm really on the fence when there is brown rice since I am picky but this poke bowl was so good. I recommend having it with the salmon. The chicken wings (L size if you eat a lot!) were crunchy, juicy, and tasted excellent with the yuzu mayo! But I wasn't really a fan of the crisps (they weren't crispy for one...) Oolong tea was good. Would definitely try more of the menu if I come here for a third time!

  • Geelong Ung

It's been 2 years since I was last here (out of town), and I must say everything is as fastasmical as I remembered. The chicken wings and the sweet potato crisps are memories of delicious essential worth revisiting over and over again, while the description of thr mushroom burger actually made me want to try it, and while it wasn't my thing, it was still well made and definitely an inspired dish. Coming here, you can just tell that the chef makes a menu that is both simple and elegant. I will always drop by this cafe now and in the future. Well worth the visit! Oh and their variety and knowledge of coffee, just, wow~!

  • Aaliyah Atlas

Came on Saturday lunch time. Not very busy just got outside seat. Digital menu available. Coffee is average, not my favourite type of beans. Dirty chai is quite good. Croissant is not as good, duck and prawn are pretty much the same with different filling. The fairy tail is alright but potion is small. Horroscope is a bit too oily with soft shell crab and deep fried bun. Matcha is really disappointing, the matcha cone is not crispy at all, cake is a bit sweet. Overall compare to other cafes it’s a bit overpriced. Not much highlights won’t recommend if you want nice brunch, maybe good for photos.

  • Rulo

Dined in for brunch with friends. I ordered the 0.6 poke with beef. The food is presented well, the taste is okay, and they offer large portion. Drop one star for the service - short of cooks and lack of staffs to serve the table. We understood it was busy time and the food would be served slow. But the staff totally forgot us asking for tap water and moving indoor once tables available. We also had to move chairs ourselves for the group. The quality of service can definitely be improved to match the quality of food.

Food was ok, service was slow (was there on a Saturday around 12.30pm). Waited some time to be greeted at the entrance, and then to order our food, and even longer for the food to come out. On two occasions I had to walk up to the register to find staff and work out whether it was table service or not. Was disappointed that they brought out our two dishes quite apart from each other as well. We ordered the Benny in Paris (with extra mushrooms) and Poke bowl with smoked salmon. Benny in Paris was fine, I wouldn’t recommend the Poke bowl (for $17!).

A very well-known Instagram worthy cafe. This cafe is located at a quiet street at Alexandria, street parking can be a bit of a issue during lunch time on the weekend. The interior is very clean and sleek, combining the colour white and wood texture. We got seated with in 5min on the weekend. The staff are friendly and polite. We ordered Pop Da Prawns, The Fairy Tail and the drink Mercury. All very well presented and delicious. I love it how everything here is Japanese inspired and have their own touch to it. Will be coming back very soon!

  • willy hendra

Absolutely overrated, totally no worth to go. Food and service was worth at all. Asked to scan barcode for the menu but there isnt signal at all, staff asked to connect to wifi also doesnt work. Been wait 15min for table water, walked 3 times to the coubter to get a service. Chicken was undercooked. As you can see amount of the charcoal flour is triple of the chicken and priced for $25. Feels like 7-11 coffee tasted a lot better. Totally not recommended to go

You probably will not stumble upon this cafe unless you have seen it on tik tok or some other SM platform. The croissants are amazing here and hence would suggest prawn pops and duck duck. Loaded fries are good but quite heavy and need to be shared amongst 3-4 people. Avoid the poke bowl, very disappointing. Street parking available. Trivia The name is derived from the thickness of the lead in a pencil. The owners are designers and want patrons to use this cafe to ideate and brainstorm

We were in the area and popped by cafe 0.6 for brunch. We didn't have to wait long and got seated shortly after. As we didn't make a booking, we sat on the high chair seating area in the hallway. Local Gem ✨ Very warm service, thoughtful details during COVID period with online menu and signage Menu is full of surprises with many fusion options and go to details, I can see kitchen needs to prepare a lot of small things Food is SO NICE, well presentation, and as I said, not only the main, those small condiments and garnish are right in taste & texture Okonomiyaki didn’t disappoint us and mochi waffle was so mochi, love them so much ! Highly recommended and definitely will come back

Went on a public holiday. Cute vibes, service was there, food was dry and overpriced. Chicken sandwich was just dry from bread to meat. The soft shell crab bao was easier to finish as there was truffle sauce. Bao was stale, overall the whole dish was not served warm... 2 dishes 2 drinks for $80+ (with PH extras) Would revisit for coffee (super cute indoor and outdoor vibes) and maybe give food another try‍♀️

A nice brunch place in Alexandria. Food range is pretty interesting, but more Asian brunch I guess. The nori wrapped rice is delicious, it tastes like fried sushi. What a fantastic Cafe!!! This was such a great find!! Situated in an area full of cafes, 0.6 is definitely towards the top. The food here is amazing and exceptional attention to detail make a wonderful dining experience. I had the best iced coffee ever here and the food is fresh, well balanced and generous. Staff are wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. For matcha lovers, their dessert is fantastic. Well be back for sure! Thank you 0.6!

Upon arriving at what was clearly to become a picturesque cafe, we were delighted to witness a rare and opportunistic choice in lunch options. The Fairytale and the Centrepiece both delivered what can only be described as an exquisite performance of widely known dishes. These kinds of quality recipes are hard to come by in these parts, so it is highly recommended to give them a try. The experience is one that will leave you wanting more.

  • Nicholas Lelos

Amazing food in a very vibrant open environment with some outdoor seating. The staff were excellent the food slightly pricey but the dishes were spectacularly novel. A wonderful combination of sweet and savoury, including their signature combo of a mochi and waffle along with some excellent drinks and refreshments. Good for both brunch and breakfast, the difficulties lie in finding a parking spot at times. Well worth the trip.

  • Tim Y

Great local joint in Alexandria. The coffee and service is best in town! Seating both outdoors and indoors. The food is niche and different but very delicious. There is a rotation of specials which is great also! Parking sometimes is an Issue but parking at woolies up the road works well. The chicken wings are a must try. Be adventures and try the specials also!!

Came here with three other friends on Sat afternoon and man were we glad to have booked a table. The place isn't too big but sits about 50 ppl comfortably. Ordered the Vader, flying fish, pop da prawns, fairy tail and a small side of chicken wings. All four dishes were intricately crafted and scrumptious. My only qualm is that the portions are quite small so be prepared to pay a lil more if you've got a big appetite.

  • Jo

Good food, good service, good presentation. Got the poke bowl and the udon. I’ve got to say their current menu is a lot better than their last. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Enjoyable experience. Really didn’t expect my dirty chai to come deconstructed - but it was fun!

Delicious and quick service (arrived at 11am and was seated within 10 mins). I had the Duck Duck Duck for brunch and was so filling so come hungry! I also ordered a hot matcha latte - would have preferred it with sugar on the side (as I found it quite sweet), but it didn't take away from the overall experience. If you're driving here, be warned there isn't much street parking around the area. Highly recommend

This cafe is very recommended! I've tried 2 of their brunch menu and they were both really delicious! Scrambled eggs were done to perfection, it was really fluffy and not too overly cooked. The croissants were made really well, probably the best one I've had in Sydney! It was served with a very generous amount of avocado too. Coffee is also always made really well. We would definitely be coming back soon

Love the idea of an ice matcha latte with a shot of coffee as seen in picture. Lovely cooked chicken wings with yummy sticky sauce and we love the mushroom soup (soup of the day). Overall a great experience and would definitely come back for brunch.

Absolutely delicious fusion Asian food!! Friendly service, lovely bright cafe, and well priced too. Will definitely have to come back here again.. especially on the weekend when they serve the Balmain bug. And u can book too! Oh, and there’s free unlimited parking next door (big patch of dirt but it’s parking so who cares!).

Staff was really friendly and prompt. However, food was just alright. The Duck Duck Duck was of a large portion and the flavour was nice. Croissant was really tasty. Large flat white was a disappointment because it tasted watery and the coffee taste was pale. I’d give it a 3.5 star experience. The service makes up for it :)

A really quirky and pretty cafe, that does more than just brunch. It’s definitely very instagrammable, the presentation in all the dishes was flawless- couldn’t fault it, but I was expecting more. The udon noodles were lacking in flavour. It was like sipping on lightly salted water. Apart from that pretty decent.

This is my first time to the cafe. Bright atmosphere, friendly staff and one of the biggest ham and cheese crossiant I have had. Worth the money definitely. Can't rate a 5 star as yet as I only tried one food item of the menu and a Latte. I would definitely visit some other items the next time.

Food is tasty. We waited at the door to be seated as per instructions, but staff just looked at us and moved on. Eventually walked in and was seated. Online menu and ordering was broken though.

It’s a laid-back Sunday and their croissant portion is massive :-) Coffee is nice but bean has the light inherent flavour. Overall I’m happy to take this place as my safe option for brunch.

We ordered papa prawn, triple duck, minty crush and tropical island. Our wonderful morning started with creamy avocado and crispy croissant. And the drinks are even better.

If like me you enjoy all things Japanese then this establishment is for you. Lovely ambiance and decor. When we were there there was a pop up shop

The foods are yummy , the juice also very good but It would be nice if the waiters were a little friendlier. All the best mates.. Keep improving

Excellent coffee. Table service was slightly slow for a wet, quiet Sunday. We waited for almost 40mins for our dishes, which is unusually long.

Everything was perfectly plated and delicious! Recommend items from the special menu - the centrepiece, fairy tail and high on matcha!

Lovely decor, good food. I liked my bun but my partner thought the flavours were a bit too subtle for his liking. Parking is tricky.

Great fushion food. Had soba roasted duck and poke chicken karage and it's very yummy. Good deco, price is not the cheap though

Amazing brunch venue. All dishes I tried were delicious. I love the theatrics of their chocolate dome dessert.
