These are the best cakes I’ve tasted ❤️ The red velvet cake was vegan and the floral rainbow cake was eggless. And they tasted better than the non-vegan or non- egg free cakes. I showed a cake inspo pic to them (I’ve been after that silver floral design for ages) and they made it exactlyyyy like that. And not to forget it was not just beautiful but also tasted so scrumptious!!! The table behind us at the restaurant, was so impressed with the way these cakes looked, so we let them taste it and they loved it so much that they ended up getting the details of the cake shop from us. My housemates who do not have a sweet tooth were fighting over the last pieces too. Cake gurus were super responsive and patient with my cake queries too. And LOVEDDDDDDD their service. I’ve found my go-to cake shop and I HIGHLYYYY RECOMMEND IT. Thank you cake gurus for making our special celebration a little extra special.

I would off given them negative rating unfortunately there is no option . We bought a cake yesterday for my daughter birthday which had a foul smell (like vomiting) . Guests refused to ate the cake . Next day my wife took the cake back to the shop . They stated that the cake is ok beside having the foul smell. They offered 10% discount on next purchase. My wife ended up leaving the cake with them. Worst customer service ever. Please make sure to check the cake before purchasing from this shop. No sense of customer satisfaction at all. We had a chance to taste the cake at Kite festival. The only reason i stop at shop as it was eggless. The cakes we’re looking awesome. So i had no choice but to try one slice of chocolate cake. Normally my son is so picky eating cakes. But @cakegurus you blown my son mind and he just had that as his lunch. When leaving festival my son again pointed and said daddy want cake as he couldn’t eat chocolate cake. So we end up buying one rasmali and chocolate again. Guess what my son had his dinner as cake again. OMG you guys are bad will come n visit your store soon to see what you have and gain more weight—haha Thank you for amazing flavours of REAL indian Cakes

Horrible experience. Everything was wrong. The cake had no flavour, most of the cake was cream and hardly any cake, the design was horrible. I ordered a circular cake with the photo of a tractor. They called me the next day and told me they can’t do a circular cake which I accepted. Then they wanted to change the picture from what I selected which again I accepted. I took delivery to a horrible looking cake. Can you believe they had dark grey cream around the cake ordered for a 3 year old. When I asked them they said, I didn’t specify any colours. Well if they say they are cake gurus, that’s the least they should know. Flavour was really bad as well.

My mum ordered a vegan cake for my sister’s 50th. When my mum went to pick up the cake at the agreed time, she was told it wasn’t ready and to come back. By the time we ate the cake that evening, the happy birthday message written on the top of the cake had run so no message could be seen. The design was also different from what was ordered. And the cake itself was crumbly and tasteless. It was really disappointing, particularly for my mum who wanted my sister to have a special cake for her birthday. Considering CakeGuru’s promote themselves as selling vegan cakes, you’d expect that they would have worked out how to make vegan cakes!

We ordered egg free & nut free cake for my daughter's birthday to be celebrated at Childcare keeping in mind kids there were allergic to above ingredients. We ordered on their opening day in Cranbourne and we were bit skeptical, since they were new in this area. But they made a delicious and healthy cake that was even better than the one that is made with eggs & nuts in it.. thanks for making us taste some cake slices before ordering..looking forward to do order more in future. We’re impressed! Our family is a sweet tooth but we are fussy about cakes. We have apprehensions when we ordered. There were all wrong. We ordered chocolate hazelnut. Cake tastes yum! Right sweetness, texture and sponge moisture. We love the chopped hazelnut embedded in the filling. It gave texture and flavour to the cake. We love it. Added factors, they do vegan and eggless cakes! Amazing! We will definitely order again and try all other cake flavours. We highly recommend this place.

One of the most underrated cake shops in Cranbourne. I have had cake from this shop few times now, the consistency is just amazing. Reasonable price and eggless. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Easy to order even through WhatsApp. Wanted custom cake face, so all I needed to do was sent them an image and job was done (see photo). Would recommend “Rasmalai” and Butterscotch. Even few options available for walk-in purchase.

The best cakes I have tasted so far in Australia. It’s hard to find Indian style cakes here..especially when you are vegetarian..but no need to look further as I have CakeGurus to my rescue. The flavours..spot on. I have tried a few flavours,, they are all so gud. Not too sweet, not too creamy, just perfectly balanced. Personally a Huge fan of Lichi flavour.. Must try!!! Highly recommended!!

I ordered cake for my baby shower and it was really fresh and tasted yummy. But when you go to the store to order, they don’t even have tasting facility to choose the flavour. Taking a good amount, I think they should provide tasting facility. Also, not followed the decoration instructions completely.
