Hello San Antonio area, BEWARE!! $179 UNAUTHORIZED charges I happen to use Caliente plumbing and AC Came out to my residence to attempt a repair I spoke to the operation manager at the time which was about one year ago Even though I was only calling to state my complaint, he stated that he would refund me my paid services rendered I like most have a busy schedule and tend to not make this a priority of looking or waiting for a refund One year goes by and I get an UNAUTHORIZED deduction from my bank account for $179 for a membership fee of some sort. I called and of course know one can explain why this occurred As I was on the phone with MAC which seems to be the new operation manager he stated that the other manager doesn't work there any longer and made a comment about his performance to the reason of not being employed any longer. I mentioned the unauthorized charge and Mac stated that he would look into it, plus I brought up the refund from one year ago and Mac acknowledged the charge. Mac sent me a text 2 days later that he had a busy schedule however he was ACTIVELY looking into it NO results one week later I had to call/text several times to get a response Story after story Finally after 2 weeks...$179 refund NO other fees refunded that Bank charged for a closed bank account that was only active for unexpected charges. All this for a few dollars Owner of this company doesn't even make a call to discuss this transaction (same owner that has his 2 young boys on the photo to promote his company) I will be contacting BBB and sending a letter to the district attorney for unauthorized deductions. I CAN NOT BE THE ONLY ONE THIS HAS HAPPENED TOO Please check your bank accounts if you have done business with this company

Would give 6 Stars if I could. I will start off by saying that Caliente Plumbing Heating and Air is now the one I will turn to for all my plumbing needs. I was having issues with my water heater and called Caliente to schedule a time to have a technician come out. The ease of making the appointment and the amount of time it took to get a technician to the house was outstanding. Ryan showed up to the house, began troubleshooting right away, isolated the probable cause of my issue, then discussed the options to get everything back up and running. You could not ask for somebody more knowledgeable than Ryan. He took the time to discuss all options, the different products available the cost breakdown. Having had a water heater that was 13 years old I decided to go with a total replacement. Ryan showed up two days later as scheduled and with the help of Jared, he installed a new pressure regulator valve, water softener, and water heater in impeccable time. The professionalism and courteous service that Ryan and Jerrod displayed go above and beyond all expectations. Everything was installed to my satisfaction and the area looked even better than before they started. Ryan went though all the operations of both the water softener and the water heater and did not leave until I was completely satisfied. The owner should be completely proud of the people he has working for him. I highly recommend Caliente and if you do choose to go with them for any of your needs, ask for Ryan, you will not go wrong.

It was time to replace our original water heater that was 10 years old. We wanted a new one to avoid catastrophe if the old one broke down. I called Caliente Plumbing yesterday and within two hours they sent Ryan out to speak with us. Ryan was professional and very helpful throughout the entire process. Ryan guided us in picking out the right water heater for our needs. We never felt pressured. We agreed on a unit and a price. The next morning Ryan arrived right on time and had our new unit installed in two hours. He even swept up the garage after! Throughout the day-and-a-half process, Caliente updated us every step of the way with text messages and e-mails. We have only had the water heater for a couple of hours, but I'm confident this new unit will be great. They also included a ten-year warranty. We couldn't be happier with their prompt service and professionalism. Ryan was a great representative of the company. We highly recommend Caliente Plumbing!

Caliente installed a unit in my home 3 1/2 years ago. 1 month ago a plumber informed me the systems valve was not on and not sending treated water to the house. Since the install it never sent any treated water to any parts of the house. All the fixtures, dish washer and clothes washer have a lot of mineral build up. 2 weeks after the install we contacted the owner Rick with concerns from tarnished silver ware in the dishwasher. Rick the owners advice was to change the dishwasher detergent. The owner did not care to check our system and this 3 1/2 year waste of softener system could have been avoided. I have contacted their office for weeks and no one has bothered to call me back. I even sent an email and called the owner Rick directly and they wont make the time to call me back. Do not trust this company and especially the owner Rick. If you need a company that will call you back or check on any concerns you have, do not contract caliente.

This company has installed water heater, water softener, shower diverter, AC Heat pump.underground broken pipe, and now with our horrible “ winter storm” pipes broke in ceiling of my kitchen. Looked like “Niagara Falls” coming out of ceiling, of course the ceiling came down. This wonderful company, starting with their telephone operators and their wonderful plumbers came to my rescue as soon as they could get on the road from dangerous road conditions. They have become like family, thank you, Rick James, Joe, Sebastian and many others, sorry I can’t remember your names, but I certainly remember your kindness and help. Thanks today(Nov.27, 2023)to Memo Hernandez, did a great job getting my heat pump up and running. Very courteous and efficient, honest and takes pride in his work. My 2.5 ton unit for the 2nd floor went out on a Sunday morning. The usual troubleshooting that I do, including replacing a bad fuse did not work. I called Caliente and they came out on a Sunday. There was a fee, but I feel it was reasonable for bringing Kevin out on a Sunday. He diagnosed the unit and found the problem in about 5 minutes. Without going into more detail, Kevin was one smart dude. He replace the breaker on the electrical panel and back in business. He stuck around and diagnosed the system with his infrared toolkit to make sure everything was working well. I appreciate that Caliente had somebody available on the phone and on the ground on a Sunday. They worked with me on a fair price and I'm happy.

Ryan & James came out to fix and replace my water heater in 2019. 2 years later Ryan fixed a leak in my Manifold that another company could not fix. He’s very professional and informative. He’s a great asset to the team. Highly recommend Caliente. They’re all helpful and passionate about their jobs. Great customer service as well! Even through snovid problems and working long hours they still manage to come out in a timely manner and provided amazing service working overtime to meet our needs and repair our leak. Will be using Caliente for future plumbing repairs moving forward. Costs are reasonable and they are full of knowledge! Thank you for having such a great team and service!

I have had nothing but amazing experiences every time I have used Caliente. It seems like today it is hard to find a company you really trust, has great customer service, and provides good quality work. Caliente is the real deal! Top notch service from Technician Mr. Guillermo Hernandez of Caliente!! Not only was he early, he was professional & personableo. Guillermo was informative, thorough, and very knowledgeable in designing what needed to be done with duct work to improve the even cooling of my home. The way he explained what he was going to do, what he did, & how he was going to repair my unit was very graceful. He gave me options that I could make an educated decision from that would best fit my family & budget. Mac is a good man, running an honest hard working company at the heart of San Antonio TX. I hired Mac’s services for a spray foam, open cell, insulation on a new construction (small building) at Floresville. The personalized treatment is simply great. The technician (that did most of the work), Mr. Rafael, is an individual with an embedded sense of good service and quality work. The work was done right, the cost of their service fair and on point. I recommend Caliente Plumbing Heating services. If you are in the San Antonio area and need spray foam insulation you must call Mac. Ask for his advice and ask him for a quote. He is competitive and does a good job!

DO NOT USE. They do not tell you what they charge and then RIP you off. $742 to install one toilet that we had already bought. took one hour. Then said we needed a shut off valve for sprinkler system that would cost over $300. Lucky we called Atlas Plumbing they came out said we had a shut off valve and charged us $135. NEVER use CALIENTE EVER. We had a broken toilet so we went and purchased a new one. The person Caliente Plumbing was at our house for about an hour and charged us $742.00 to install one toilet. Then later that day he had to come out again as he had not installed it correctly and it was still leaking. This is Highway Robbery, do NOT USE!!

Had a great experience working with Jeremy from CALIENTE Plumbing Heating & Air. Jeremy cleared a toilet drain for me, then took the time to help me select and purchase a new toilet (that he then installed). Additionally he replaced the hot/cold water shutoffs on a downstairs bathroom, and then replaced the vanity with an updated unit. Jeremy also took the time to explain in detail the work that he was doing, and why! A great overall experience, and the work was very reasonably priced. As a side-note, CALIENTE Plumbing Heating & Air contacted me from Angi’s list from San-Antonio, but they obviously have a presence in DFW (I live in Little Elm).

Our AC unit stopped blowing cold air. I called Caliente and spoke to Arlene who scheduled us for a service call between 10-12 same day. Arlene was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the services Caliente provides. Our technician (Guillermo Hernandez) arrived before the scheduled time, diagnosed the problem and determined it was a failed DVAS that regulates the electricity to the compressor. We are up and running again with nice cold air from our unit. Thanks Guillermo for a job well done and being courteous and very professional. Look forward to a great relationship with Caliente Plumibing, Heating, and Air.

My experience with Caliente Plumbing, Heating and Air was very positive. They were very responsive and repaired what ended up being a backed up A/C drain line. Kevin and Roland came out the next day to give me an estimate to install a new Independant drain line and separate the existing drain line from the sink which would help prevent this from happening again. They were were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to explain everything that would need to be done and how it would benefit us going forward. I will definitely be using Caliente for any of my future plumbing, heating and air needs.

We built our home 30 years ago and have replaced our RO (reverse osmosis) system many times. It always took the water a long time to fill up a container, and many times I ran out of water when trying to fill a pot for tea or soup. Ryan from Caliente Hot Water Plumbing replaced the RO system last week. He listened to my complaints and quickly identified the problems. I love my new RO system! The new Caliente Life Water system is much smaller giving me the extra room for a second water storage tank. I now have a -Life time parts and labor warranty- I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing problems.

I had a water softener installed by David Goff and Rafael Cardenas and so far I am very pleased. I cant speak to the value because I didn’t get any other estimates. I was referred by a family member. They worked all day in my house while I was at work. They were respectful and protected my floors, carpets and other surfaces while they worked. Unfortunately, I had to call a few days later when I had a leak outside on one of their repairs and they responded promptly (on a Saturday). When the leak was exposed it turned out to be a manufacturer defect (a split on the seam of an elbow), not due to a shoddy repair.

Caliente is our go to for any plumbing needs. We have used Caliente several times over the last 3 years for various issues, from water heaters & drain problems to HVAC cleaning. Each time they were able to get a tech out the next day. The entire staff from the office to the technicians out in the field are very courteous & professional. All of the technicians extremely knowledgeable & great at explaining what work needs to be done. Ryan and his team were absolutely exceptional. I had an amazing experience with Caliente. I've used them in the past for HVAC maintenance and when it came to replace our 12 year water heaters I knew they would be the company I could trust. Very impressed with the service provided. We had several companies come out and your representative Kevin Edward(motorcycle guy) gave us the best review and explanation of our problem. The speed to get us taken care of was amazing. Jackson Sedlak and Chris worked hard for two days. These two were very professional and respectful of being in our home. Then the master AC guy Gary Freeman checked their work and made minor changes. In all we were extremely satisfied with the work and even signed on with their maintenance program. Thank you thank you.

Had a non emergency leak under kitchen sink. Garret was here within 3 hours from my call. He diagnosed the issue as being a simple fix (reconnect a clip that the sprayer hose has popped off ) and *only charged me the servic call fee, which is a very reasonable $24.50. Others in the area charge $89 service fees--another indication of how reasonable Caliente is. That's honesty and integrity, folks. In addition, Garret has a great sense of humor. Caliente will have my business in the future, this was a very impressive first impression.

First, they showed up on time. They said they would arrive at 8:00 a.m. and they were here ready to work at that time. The issue was identified, and I was given a detailed description of the problem (without trying to talk over my head by using professional jargon). They showed me the repair cost before they started and gave me a list of packages to decide from. They resolved my plumbing issue in a timely manner and did so with friendly service. I will be using them for all other home repair issues that may arise in the future.

I called Caliente to see about having my washing machine shut off valves replaced (not urgent) and Garret was able to come out to assess and provide an estimate within a day. Garret quoted me a fair price for the job, which I was extremely grateful for. He was courteous, professional, and did an excellent job changing out the valves and hoses. Now the water is flowing freely in the washing machine, as it should be! I highly recommend giving Caliente a shout and asking for Garret for your next plumbing need.

The plumber Ryan was available earlier than originally scheduled and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He communicated his findings to me and he was patient as I thought through the options for service/repair. I called my husband on the phone and Ryan was willing to explain everything to him for a second time. He took pictures of the damage and the repairs once completed. This is not our first time using Caliente. We are grateful for their service and their reasonable prices. Thanks Ryan!

Kevin recently came to address an issue I was having with an AC installed by Caliente three years ago. He showed up early and was very informative. He made sure the problem was resolved before leaving and even made himself available the next day when I was concerned the issue was not resolved. Kevin has showed up for other issues I've had with my AC in the past and he is always, kind, informative and hardworking. It's always a relief to see him when we're having issues with our AC.

Update: I just used Caliente for an AC issue. I called about 11:00 and by 1 pm my simple issue was fixed entirely. Ask for the brilliant Kevin Edwards, who knew just what to do and how to fix it properly. Grateful to have found Caliente. I recommend Caliente and especially Garret Heard to you. Thorough, honest, helpful and efficient! I’ll always ask for him by name from now on for plumbing issues. He’s been out twice to my older home. Office staff was helpful too.

Ryan A. did a fantastic job on installing a new shower valve/trim from start to finish! Super patient and explained everything along the way and answered all questions/concerns we had. Definitely recommend using Caliente if you have any plumbing needs! Update: Just had Garrett out today to fix a leaking pipe in our kitchen and had yet another great experience! If you need fast, professional, and quality work…look no further than Caliente!

Garrett was great to work with... was considerate, very professional and did work above and beyond an already big job. Considering the amount of work that was necessary with a toilet back flowing into the shower (yuck), he completed the work in far less time than I would have expected. Communication about what to watch for and do going forward was very helpful. I would highly recommend requesting him and this company for any job.

Three hours late. Understand they were probably swamped due to winter storm but did not notify me until I called them after two hours. Job was quoted around $500 and took less than 1hour to complete. Parts probably less than $10. Would not have accepted quote but water gushing for 3 days and didn’t know when I could get anyone else out. Used previously to replace hot water heater and water softener but will not use again.

Justin from San Antonio Caliente did an excellent job on replacing my toilet bowl. The customer service was great on keeping me in the loop via text messages as to when he was expected to arrive. They were accommodating of my time and didn't try to up sale me on anything. I didn't really price the service out so I can't comment on that but all in all I would definitely use them again if needed!

Garrett came out a week ago, installed new water heater. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. A real people person. I’m very happy with the quality of work that he preformed, All in all I would recommend this company. I really hope Garrett gets the appreciation he deserves, employees like him are rare to find these days! If I need there services again I will definitely ask for him!

Their estimates are a little strange - looked like they make up prices as they go along. Was supposed to have a camera go through my sewer line to see if there was clog which cost $200/hr. They didn’t do this and instead used a toilet auger to unclog the pipe which took about 20 minutes - price was still $200. They fixed the problem so no complaints on that.

Ryan from Caliente Plumbing was a top-notch professional. He was here to flush our water heaters and perform maintenance on the plumbing in our home. He was thorough and took his time to explain any potential concerns - very knowledgeable. I would definitely feel confident (and would recommend) having him complete any plumbing work needed in the future.

Guillermo, our technician, came out on an emergency call at one of our rental properties and saved the day. He is a very skilled and knowledgeable technician who was able to troubleshoot our issue with our AC that was out for a day and a half . Roland Pina was my service tech that came to my house after hours for an emergency plumbing incident. He was straight forward, honest and very professional. He was able to fix my problem while educating and exposing the root cause of the issue. I will definitely recommend Caliente to everyone I know that needs plumbing services.

HVAC was down at night. They made an emergency trip out to look at the system at 10PM and charged $200 to reserve the spot. Kevin Edwards was our tech that showed up who was absolutely professional and knowledgeable about our system and diagnosis of the problem. If you need HVAC repairs, call them and ask specifically for Kevin.

It was an emergency call during the night for sure and I appreciated the fact that they served our area, but the emergency response and repair fee were very expensive. Not to mention the technician trampled mud on my carpet throughout our house and didn't clean up behind himself. I must say the problem was identified and fixed.

I had our hot water heater replaced. Garret was our technician and he explained the options and then installed the unit the next day. He was great at explaining the features of the unit. The whole team from the office staff to the technician were prompt, communicated well with updates and helpful. I recommend Caliente!

Kelvin is very professional. He completely seal up condensation on our air conditioner. He called us before coming & kept his appointment on time. So responsive! I was able to get someone over within a few hours of my call for help with inconsistent water pressure at my house. Guillermo Hernandez fixed our leaking a/c and cleared broken glass out of our garbage disposal. he was very nice and keep us informed on everything that was going on while he was working. I highly recommend him and the company they had great customer service and were very quick to get to my property.

Had a great experience with Luis from Caliente Plumbing. They had an earlier opening in the schedule and got me in. Diagnosed the issue and had the parts on hand for the repair. They told me it was take 1-2 hours to complete, but they were done and out in under an hour.

I had been dealing w another ac company for last few years. I reach out to Caliente for a second quote/ second opinion. Sure glad i did, wow! Unreal customer service, communication was so great, the head tech Kevin was so knowledgeable and helpful. Great job. Thank you

I always receive excellent service from CALIENTE Plumbing and their pricing is reasonable. Today I had an issue with a back up and Ken and Brian came out and gave me an estimate and cleared the clog. I will continue to contact CALIENTE for all my plumbing needs.

I needed to replace water softener and water heater. Caliente offered nice quote and I took it. The very next day, Justin and Matt were at my home early as scheduled and finished the work on time as promised. Great guys and nice work.

Didn’t have water for 6 weeks. Called Caliente and they fixed it in 1 day. Out of the 4 quotes we got they had the best price and the 2 guys who came out were so nice and professional. HIGHLY recommend.

Jordan did a great job on the repair. Worked late on Christmas Eve to fix a busted pipe. After making a scheduling error, Caliente made good and still made sure my issue was addressed on the same day.

I have two services recently from Caliente. Both Bobby to fix a pair of leaks in a bathroom and Ruben to do our regular HVAC maintenance were excellent! Scheduling was fast and both visits went great.

Work was done within normal time. The technician did a wonderful job and setting everything up and giving me options for everything that I needed will be using him or and the company again thank you.

PRV repair. Mr Rico was swift, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable trusting his services. He was transparent with my PRV issues and helped me understand what I needed.
