The park was wonderful,. Neing by the esyer was so relaxing/watching the boats launch along with the people on there having fun. The test rooms could be cleaned and so sir freshers wont definitely not hurt. All in all it was s good place for a family reunion or any gathering. The beach seemed to be very inviting for the kids.

This is a peaceful and quiet beach. I love the serenity here. But I only give it 2 stars because the water isn't the most clean, and a young child acquired hand, foot and mouth disease from playing in the sand. It's great place to sit and watch Gods beauty, but I wouldn't walk barefoot or get in the water here.

This little Park, was for the neighborhood. It was quiet fairly clean, though there were some Wicked looking spider webs on the fascia of the building, the pier was a little dated, but the views were spectacular and there was enough room to play and clean enough to not get hurt

Never been here before. Quite a large park. A lighted soccer field, several unlit ones, several backstops, tennis courts and a large football sized field with lights. Small beachfront. Winding roads, one of the gorgeous old Park District buildings and a Coast Guard station!

Used the park to launch our kayaks and then paddle the Calumet River. The park ranger was friendly and answered our questions. The modern restroom facilities were clean, had toilet paper and paper towels. Parking was close to the boat launch.

Calumet Park is an awesome, FREE and open to the public park... They allow tents for daytime use, there's a large swimming beach, food vendors, designated fishing areas, ball diamonds, at least one full court and it's open 'til 11p!

My late morning visit on the week day was perfect. The Beach was clean and not crowded. The park has a play area for little ones and lots of open space for frisbee throwing. It was perfect for a walk with an old friend!!!

So surprised to see how high the water level was!!!! OMG!! They are setting up for a event tomorrow starting at 5:00pm and going to be a overnight event with music and dance from indigenous dancers from Alaska. How cool!

My kids like the playground and fieldhouse activities. I'm greatful for the free parking. You can get some good eats at the concession stand and taco truck. This park was made for summer can't wait for beach to open.

Park never has open gym for the kids or anyone near the neighborhood! I remember when I was little and I would go there and they always took care of us kids ! Now they are short staff and always not available !

I love this CPD! My daughters do gymnastics here and my son does soccer! We've played at the playground we swam in the lake we've attended activities here such a great family place I've had no problems here!

It's a nice place to go for picnics and family gatherings. We had fun. The sand needs to be cleaned. There was lots of rocks in it and some dog deifications. If the sand gets cleaned, it'll be much better.

Quiet et nice place to have a picnic or any outdoor event. Also, you can play baseball or soccer or run or even run to stay in good shape. You can also bring your small boat to have fun in the lake
