Attended this vet for the first time due to it being the only one open in the area yesterday for my unwell dog and it was extremely concerning with the experience and results! Inside there were wires hanging out of the walls, 1 bench seat with 2 single chairs in a tiny area with no way to seperate animals. No eftpos but a piece of paper with bank details for transfer. Children were manning the desk (very polite however well underage and unsure how to create a receipt from invoice), when asked how long they’ve been open for one responded ‘we opened last week’. Consultation included a temperature check… that’s it. No listening of the heart, feel of any glands, feel of stomach or check of the mouth. The vet jumped straight to concerning illnesses such as a twisted stomach wanting to do an X-Ray / Blood test with no reasoning behind it. When discussing prices, it seemed after selecting the required items, it was then over-written in front of me, changing 3 of the 4 items. Please, avoid at all costs. If you can, wait it out for your usual vet to open or contact a home vet. Unprofessional and beyond concerning! UPDATE (5/1 7.54pm): Vet calls to discuss the review, apologises and offers a refund BUT only if the review is deleted. The explanation provided was “it was a busy day”. Not good enough! And this place is definitely not worth the risk! REPLY: This was MY experience with your practice and as mentioned on the call… If you’re too busy or can’t fit an animal in DON’T take the patient and give less than exceptional care whilst happily taking money! You didn’t ask for history, you didn’t check his heart, feel his stomach, glands or check his mouth/airways or do any general checks other than temperature check for that matter! DON’T offer a refund (I didn’t request this) to bribe removal of an honest and accurate review then back out of that offer when refused.

My dog was attacked and had a nasty cut on his leg that required stitches, I called Camden Vet after hours and they picked up immediately, and within 15 minutes we were met at the Clinic and our dog was receiving treatment (Mind you this was December 30th at almost 6pm). The kindness and compassion of the staff at Camden Vets assured us that our dog was in good hands, and within the hour we got the call to come take him home. This is a newly established business and I am very happy with the experience we had, and I would recommend anyone to this business if they're in need of regular care or after hours care for their beloved animals.

Professional advice, very clean and tidy, cost conscious (no unnecessary testing etc), and truly warm, friendly and empathetic service. We took our 15 year old dog to the vet as she was very ill, our dog was seen at short notice and we were very impressed with the service provided. The vet suggested an in house blood test and X-ray which made diagnosis much easier - treatment was then administered. Our dog is recovering very well. We would highly recommend this caring, professional and compassionate veterinary clinic.

First time client and was super impressed with the care and attention received after my dog was attacked on Christmas Eve and required emergency stitching.
