"A neat football game center, with nice scenery at night"
This Stadium is located at Campos area and serving Lagos Island the host community, its environ and the whole of Lagos State. It consists of a football pitch although not FIFA standard by size, a basketball court and not so spacious parking position. It is ready for play both in the day and at night due to its beaming lighting. Campos Mini Stadium is well fenced and has the main gate and a passable gate behind. The big screen board has not been working yet it remains the host of Lagos Island Community League between Yellow & Blue FC every Sunday. It accommodates than 1000 spectators at a time. Finally, it is an artificial tuff which is good for school sporting activities and similar events.
Campos Memorial Mini Stadium needs total/complete renovations ranging from the spectators stand, the toilet, the box 18 and throwing lines on the pitch itself has fade out and the artificial grass on the pitch has pulled out and fade out completely. Also I will suggest they guide the entire pitch with net so as to save the residents lot of damages as the ball goes out of the arena regularly. One of the advantages this sporting facility has is that it has two entrance one at the admin block and the other which is the main entrance at the basketball court area.
My childhood nostalgia, where I played much if football as a lad in the heart of Lagos Island. Thanks to the government of Babatunde Fashola, former governor of Lagos State, who renovated the open space into a mini stadium. This facility is crucial to youth development for the teeming youth population in Lagos Island. Facilities however need a serious upgrade, particularly the poorly kept toilets and storage spaces. Also, proper management is needed to run the place well and ensure it doesn't get dilapidated due to poor use and maintenance.
Its a wonderful place to be as its facilities had been upgrade to a world class standard as people of various walks of life do come there to practice, exercise and also competition for various age grade level are been held all year round and current the center host NIMC for registration of national identity card and it is accessible by road through odunlami street for those coming through CMS and through City hall for those coming through Oblande.
A neat football game center, with nice scenery at night. Opened till 11/12pm on Fridays. Only hitch is parking space, as it's not wide enough then the ball occasionally get played over the Square fence into the Street, calls of "ball please!" from the players sometimes get them their ball back or goes to no avail. It's a good place to relax for soccer fans. A seller comes in to sell drinks, no bin or snack place in sight except outside the Square.
Campos Stadium is Located at Igbosere, on the Island of Lagos. It is a mini stadium design to encourage youths who are living on the Island in sport development especially football and other recreational activities. It is about 1.5km to the popular monumental TBS and about 1.4km from the Federal High court Igbosere. The stadium is quite accessible and we'll maintained.
It is in the heart if Lagos Island, it could be tricky to get if there is a wedding in the popular Methodist Church down Broad Street, but you would still be fine if you can navigate the adjoining streets being careful with the ones which are strictly one way. The Stadium is decent, though it could be maintained better but its use is in high demand.
Nice turf. Some facilities like the post, net and seats are okay, I can't say much about the rest of the facilities. The toilet was messy, other probably better ones seemed locked. The area could not contain the balls, balls flying out of the stadium frequently from the pitch. A higher wire fence could solve this.
It's a mini stadium in lagos Island, it's at Campos bus stop opposite UBA bank, a filling station is also at the opposite side, restaurants, bars and hotels are not too far from the stadium, hotel lawa is behind the UBA bank. Several matches such as celebrity match have been played in the stadium
Campos memorial mini stadium is an awesome place. Very convenient and comfortable for athletes. The led lights make it even more comfortable play football at night. I'll definitely give it a 5 star. Also, I discovered that celebrity or not, something about that stadium encourages team spirit.
A mini stadium suitable for five aside match or full team of school kids. There are also relaxation spot around the area to wind off in the evening. There is fresh fish peppersoup joint on Campbell street, Paul "n" Paul on Gbamgbose street and many others scattered around the stadium.
It's a mini stadium as the name implies. Ideal for elementary school inter house sport. It has an average football pitch and a below average basketball court. During competitions such as the world cup, government or private organizations provides viewing opportunity at this location.
Mini stadium for your sports events. Went here for a friendly football match from work. The pitch looks okay but when it started raining heavily, there were like puddles all over the pitch. The colorful seats were dirty and fading but still okay. Located right in Lagos Island.
Campos Mini Stadium is a government owned sports complex comprising a football pitch, basketball court, spectators stand, wash room, restrooms, floodlight, security and public address system. ♿️there's a ramp and #accessible trails through the stands.
I came here for a football match and I am amazed at what I see. This is a lovely mini stadium with a standard pitch. However, the seating area requires more improvement and face lifting. In the same vein, there is needed to expand the parking space.
The pitch is classy but I wasn't comfortable with the boys smoking weed. I also don't get why we had to pay so much to use the pitch for just an hour I am not sure I would love to go back again. If you are going I would advice you drive there tho.
mini stadium located in the heart of Lagos island. Close to the central Business district bordering the marina and not too far from Landmarks such as City Hall, Holy Cross catholic Church and the Anglican Cathedral at Cms.
It was fine at the Campos Memorial Mini Stadium Yesterday with FAB5 Soccer Tournament in which medal was won between Academies and Schools. Kudos to the organizer of FAB5 and their sponsorer: Indomie, FCMB...... and others.
Though it's a mini stadium, the seating areas are comfortable and well covered. The grass is synthetic and fair for a football game. A gym center is also available. However, the toilets are not so good.
As the name implies, it's a mini stadium which encompasses a football pitch and a basketball pitch. The pitches are still in good condition and often times maintenance is being carried out.
Went there for the MAMBA'S HUNT organized by MR WILLIAMS UCHEMBA for his upcoming movie on the 13th of May 2021. It is a very beautiful environment and all COVID-19 protocol was observed.
Pretty nice place to hold slight competitions and train players had a mini basketball court and a small sand dune to play ball too with enough place at its back yard to hold mini parties
Just that while it's being used, attention isn't given to the conveniences/toilets or restrooms. Seats remains dirty. Poor facility management but environ is cool for sporting events
The location has a serene environment and it's good for leisure. However, if you are one of the soccer fans, this is the high time for you to keep visiting the stadium...
Nice place to play recreational football. U can join a team of working class team every Tuesday n Thursday just to play football n sweat it out. Cool for networking.
A standard mini stadium opened to the public for rental. The security level is fantastic despite in the hood! A good space to hold sports events including athletics!
Gradually deteriorating. Needs government or private sector intervention sooner rather than later as it has the potential to serve as the heart of the Lagos island.
Visited here during the weekend with a couple of friends from twitter for a friendly match. It was fun filled as i got to see those I haven’t met in a while
The place is cool, they ought to change the artificial grass as well as the chairs (and maintain both better than they're maintaining this one).
OK football pitch, has a basketball court but rim ain't nice, just OK to do a sports events. You'll have to make your own race tracks though
A mini stadium in the heart of Lagos Island around Bamgbose/Campus area often used for sporting activities for students and the community.
In the heart of Lagos Island. Cool environment to be in the evenings, Well secured and a fairly good toilets for convenience.
Nice artificial turf. Football here is best played with a canvas boot for easy mobility and to protect ones leg from heat
A conducive sport center where you have a fun and recreation. You can play football and do some athletics sport too
Good for sports event! Mostly corporate organisations. Had fun there! Not a standard size football pitch though.
Amazing place to be. Football pitch and track still good to have fun. With the stands for large gatherings
Really wonderful stadium. An even and smooth pitch. Nice to play on. Night lights for plays at night.
Campos need big time maintenance. Anyways its still filled with fun especially on Sunday mornings.
One of the Best place to have fun in Lagos Island. Well built Mini Stadium for recreation center
Yeah, it's a nice pitch to play on, though it's an artificial turf. It's a 7 aside player pitch.
Muslim Congress of Lagos & Union of Arabic Teachers of Nigeria 2021 Maolid/ Seerat Nabiyy
It's a great recreational centre with a basketball court and a sizeable parking lot.
It's a nice place for hosting sporting activities like inter house games for schools
The Astro turf is lovely with sufficient sitting capacity. Also very accessible
Cool but the chairs need to be refurbished and make the environment clean
Good pitch, but the area is filled up with lots of area boys
Very good area for football and partying place
Fantastic venue for regular football games
Nice place for football show and hang out
Really love playing at this stadium
Eventful sports/youth center.
A great recreational centre
Well done play
