I went to go mail a few items for my father who lives out of province, however the package was overweight so I had to take out some things. I was about to pay for a bubble parcel to send his mail to him as well as the other things but leave out somethings as it wouldn't fit. The fee for the bubble parcel would have been 25 dollars, the same as paying for another flat rate box and being able to fit his mail and the other things that would've been left out. The one who was attending to me, her name was Lynn. I told her about my situation and she was just being vague with me, and she was watching me as I was about to pay 25 dollars just to ship his mail until I came to the idea to get a flat rate box and just ship everything. Lynn was going to let me take some of the stuff I was meant to send to my dad back home instead of giving me an option that would benefit him. Horrible customer service as she didn't provide me with cheaper options. However, Scott who was working at the time too, was very customer friendly and made the experience better. If he wasn't there this would have gotten one star.

On May 16, 2021 I mailed a letter to Revenue Canada Agency in this post office. The letter was weighted by the counter clerk, given a postage and took in by the clerk right away. Today, June 15, I checked with CRA and they didn't receive this letter. Even I am willing to wait for two more weeks, I was encouraged by CRA to resend my adjustment because two weeks are definitely long enough for it to reach CRA. Apparently it was lost in mail. How strange it is! I haven't lost any mail to CRA but this one. I have experienced many weird things in the past couple of years for my mails. For example, everyone in my condo building got flyer delivery but I didn't get. I received my mail in bunches during certain period time. It seems someone illegally checked my mails and even took them. I doubt some Canada Post employees had something to do with it. I have complained to Canada Post once, but they said they only take care of the letters were torn. Is it very irresponsible for Canada Post to say so? I guess they just don't care about customers at all.

I needed to purchase a small shipping box and mail an international package. They had the box I needed, but it all went downhill from there. While the service was pleasant enough, their competency needs some serious work. I was told that the shipping address I had copied and pasted onto the package was invalid. They couldn't override the system to manually adjust it, and concluded that the address was incorrect. After verifying that the address was in fact correct, I took the package to a different Canada Post location who was able to find the address with ease after typing the apartment number on a different line in the system. The same system that apparently didn't allow any adjustments at the Shawnessy location... To top it off, they said the paper customs form I was given at the Shawnessy location was filled out incorrectly by the clerk, and that I can do the customs form online anyways. While this Canada Post outlet may be the closest to my home, I sure won't be returning.

Obnoxious lady at the Canada Post counter today evening. I was grabbing something from the chocolate section and happened to be in her sight. She starred me done for like 30 seconds straight, looking me right in the eye. I stopped and looked at her right and yet she just keeps starring me right in the eye like nothing is happening! No shame at all, I even asked what’s wrong and she keeps starring. She smiled and kept on looking starting right in the eye. That’s just unacceptable. You’re probably too bored at your job like you got nothing else to do but stare people down and making them uncomfortable. Find yourself something to do.

Debbie is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Very rude, miserable person. She won't acknowledge you until she's done whatever it is she's doing, and then seems irritated that you're there. On top of that, she puts in as much effort as possible to make you pay more than you need to. I've never seen anyone work so hard to earn a bad review! The fact that she is a MANAGER is even more confusing. You can tell that her colleagues are embarrassed by her behavior. There are a couple employees there that deserve her spot in a very big way.

Terrible service. Tried opening a PO, after multiple visit getting all the requested paper work in order requested by Robin, the previous day when she reviewed all of the documents provided, I was told that I am unable to open the PO box as the paper she reviewed the day before were not satisfactory. Took 5 visits to figure this out…when it could have pointed out to me the on the first visit.

Incorrectly sold us a 2019 Canada Stamp Collection after telling us it was “the most recent” version and would not sell the display model after making a special trip there. Wouldn’t refund the purchase to my credit card and said it had to be on my wife’s card even though they are linked. Poor customer service overall, the <3 rating is appropriate for this postal outlet.

This 4 star is for Robin basically, there is another very nice lady who I like to deal with, but Robin is fast , very professional explains everything and always very pleasant to deal with. I don't go there as much because of one particular girl that works there . But if your lucky enough to get Robin, you are in and out in no time

I was unsure about using this location based on the reviews. It was fine. I was returning some Telus equipment and the person knew exactly what to do and took care of everything in less than a minute and was very friendly whilst doing it. Robin earns top marks for this location.

Staff here frequently over measure sizes and try to upcharge you on shipping rates. They have even tried rejecting prepaid packages. Strongly recommend the post office in Bridlewood instead. As an commercial shipper I strongly recommend you avoid this location.

Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Can be busy at times. However, if your patient time goes by quickly and your in and out of there. Staff is knowledgable and go out of there way in making your shopping experience fun.

PLEASE.....take the time to update your hours on your website. I'm aware of the hours posted at the entrance with 10 other notices after I went in to find out you were closed because your site says different. THANK YOU

This is the worst post office in Calgary. The clerk that works there named GRACE is a terrible miserable rude person. CANADA POST find some smart and friendly people to work for you. I will never go here again
