Indian restaurant
"The quality of food isn't great anymore, and they've reduced the quantity as well"
"This restaurant just does not care about customer service"
"Always have a good experience, the food is really nice and it is very affordable"
"Food was great, waiter was horrible - very rude"
"Great place"
The quality of food isn't great anymore, and they've reduced the quantity as well. R90 buys you 8 small pcs of Tikka boti, which tastes nice, but is too little for the money. Also ordered the mutton biryani, which looked and tasted like curry and rice mixed together with extremely fatty pieces of meat thrown in. A complete put off!
This restaurant just does not care about customer service. This is the second time they have given the wrong order to the uber eats driver. Calling them makes no difference because they just say its the drivers fault and not their problem. Pathetic and disappointing service. Rather support other establishments. More
Always have a good experience, the food is really nice and it is very affordable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the food was quite spicy.. I asked for mild and yet it was like nandos extra hot. I had the mix grill and it was really good the alloo cheese paratha is nice as a starter as well. …
Food was great, waiter was horrible - very rude. Gave us abrupt nasty answers to our enquiries about recommendations on his menu (E.g: "Everything's nice - what do you want?"). And when we were leaving, the first thing he did was come and ask the cashier how much we tipped him - after his shocking service.
Great place. Feels nice and cozy. Service is good. The food is really tasty. The mutton curry is delicious, so too the Naan breads. Also the meat of their dishes is so tender. Their samoosas are really tasty as well. I also enjoyed the Mango Lassi. This is the best way to wash down a curry in my opinion.
Food flavours is okay but the take away portion size for the prices is just sad who puts 6 pieces of thinly sliced meat to make it look much more that probably weights 120 gram in a meat dish that is almost a R100 with staff that always looks depressed luckily theres hundreds of competitors around More
I ordered chicken and corn soup on Ubereats to which I paid R94 with delivery. What I received made me throw up. It was chicken skins and sweetcorn and it smelled like boiled chicken water. I wouldn't even let my cat eat it. The single most disgusting experience I've had at a restaurant before.
I don't know why this place only has 4 stars. The food is incredibly tasty, the portions are very satisfying, and the pricing is very decent. Maybe people are ordering the wrong thing. Get the Mutton Karahi no bones, a plain Paratha and a mango lassi. Thank me later. More
Superior Asian cuisine right on your doorstep. Worth the drive from the northern suburbs for a variety of generous portions of reasonably priced dishes in private or semi-private table surrounding. Prayer facilities available. A "must go back" kind of restaurant.
Food was beautiful as always I thoroughly always enjoy the ahkni and boneless curries also its very consistent the only thing I am disappointed of us the hand towel in the wash facilities dnt u think it would be more hygienic to
One of the very few places to get really nice chicken tikka in cape town that comes close to the spicy and yummy offerings found in Durban and Jhb. Order extra hot with extra spice for the authentic tikka taste and not a watered down version of tikka.
This is a covid risk and wouldn't recommend going there during this time.!,Im a regular here, food is great, but today I was incredbjky alarmed, our waiter wore no mask, then discovered that all the staff in the back preparing the food were
Was very much disappointed this time when we went their for lunch after jumuah. We was sitting for some time and the waiters was just walking g pass us and ppl that came after us was being helped and very much looked after. So after waiting
What a Bad Experience specially when you on year end holidays and you eat rotten chicken Brayani. On top get a worse service from waiter. Sorry I normally don’t want to go this route but this Resturant management learn how to respect their
The best chicken tikka in cape town. I cannot find better chicken tikka in Durban either. Amazing service, very friendly waiters and relaxed atmosphere. Don't expect anything fancy, you are going for the good food. Also try the dhall fry.
If I could give this place a zero I would. The worst food I ever tasted and had to pay for. Well I guess it's my own fault I should have just turned around when i saw it was empty. The steak roti was steak shavings in sweet chill sauce I
Good food, no complaints. Disgusting customer service. Could not understand the guy who took the order. Tried to speak to him in Urdu/Hindi and that didn't even help. We sat down to eat. Orders were taken properly and food came on time.
Pathetic and disgusting service. Been there 4 times. All visits encountered a problem. Baby Cockroach in salad, sour milkshake which he refused to take off bill even though it was only sipped on as little a teaspoon, hair in chips, Torn
Yes...they are consistent...you are not burnt to hell and back...They are a taste extravaganza....cream steak....chicken pilua .....WOW!....Chicken tikka (ask them to smoke it also.... now did u ever taste smoke in a tikka ) the menu is
This place definitely cater to the rich. A cup of curry no rice or roti for R80. It's ridiculous!!! I could have gotten this curry so much tastier and much filling with rice or roti for so much cheaper somewhere else. Never again
Good value for money. Good chicken tikka + garlic naan. Yet to try out other dishes, however I have cofidence to say the rest may also be quite good. Indoor seating available for dining in. You may also call ahead and order.
A simple place to have some good Indian/South Asian food. Price is very reasonable and quality is good. You can do take away here or eat in. Will certainly return if I am in the area and want to have comfort food.
Had a okish Mango Lassie and a good aloo paratha. Good filling. Many restaurants in CPT tend to get the mango lassie wrong. It needs to be thick (buttermilk). Many tend to make it thin. It's not water lassie. More
The food is always good! Lamb wrap and tikka chicken never disappoint. Chicken biryani is a winner! Waiters are all very courteous. It could do with some more light and maybe some music to create atmosphere. More
Very bad experience. Found a hair in our food, we ask for a different plate of food. The manager said that it's one of our own. He denied us from getting another plate as well and
• insect found in our dish. • Waiters definitely need to be more friendly. Terrible service. • previously been refused a second order because the restaurant was "too busy" More
Typical north Indian style food. Called ahead as we were travelling. Fast efficient service. Chicken Tikka was tasty and Naan bread was delicious with some crispy bits. More
Ordered the chicken Tika, garlic Naan and a chicken burger. The garlic Naan was delicious. The chicken was burnt and the chips portion was small. The burger was ok. More
I'm Indian so when I say the food was so spicy that you can't taste the meat that says a lot. I suffered horrible nausea and vomiting all night after my meal. More
One of the best services I have ever received. The food was decent, but the service was really great which made the whole experience better More
One never leave this establishment disappointed! The food is consistently of a high standard, very tasty in a uniquely Bengali style.
I will definitely go back to this place. Food was excellent! Delicious lamb salomi with meat so soft it just melts in your mouth
It's a was a flavourful experience really enjoyed true traditional Indian food fresh and portions are well sized valve for the money.
The food was delicious, staff are not really talkative and only come around to take your order after that you don't see them.
We eat here very often. The curries are delicious and way better than any of the fine dining restaurants we have been too.
This is a good place for affordable Indian food .... service is great ..... value for money …

Mostly ok. Waiters need to be more friendly and helpful. Cash is insisted on even though they have card facilities.
Ordered Mutton Biryani. Comes in good portions. Tasty but could do with more potato.
