My hunt for tour providers started in the UK well before travel, and Cape Town Day tours were easily the most responsive from several I contacted – giving me confidence that it was more than an automated response -- I got a real person at the other end! Booking was straightforward and all done on-line, but with the addition of prompt and personalised email clarifications, even when I wanted to change the itinerary. On arrival, our guide Wayne was on-time, professional and courteous, reassuring us with official details of qualifications, insurance, etc but also the ‘unofficial’ benefits of experience, how to avoid queues, choosing best time to visit attractions, optional extensions, etc. Daily comms via WhatsApp helped quickly agree changes (mostly due to Cape Town’s weather!) and the whale watching was spectacular – recommended!

Have booked with Cape Town Tours on two trips to South Africa and five tours total, plus airport pick ups. All of the tours have been excellent and I really appreciated the quick and informative communication during booking, timely pick-ups, clean vehicles, and great tours. I have booked private tours and they have been very informative, flexible on time when we wanted to stay at certain places longer or not, and we visited the best places. We booked our private Cape Town tour through Capetown day tours and had the best experience. Our guide Anthea, was very friendly and welcoming. She made our trip really comfortable and showed us around the city. The management is very cooperative and feasible. It was a wonderful experience and we are really taking back beautiful memories thanks to them.

They were great to work with. Even though the shark trip I booked didn't go due to not enough people. The offered a refund or I can use the credit for another trip. They answered questions and helped me book two experiences using my credit. They followed up and communicated well. Whatsapp me the tickets and everything worked out awesome.

We did a day tour in Cape Town, our guide Cecil very kind, professional and helpful. We could not do the visit to Robben Island due to a strike and they promptly refunded us. Good agency I will recommend! See you next time!

We booked two tours months before we left home. The wait was well worth it. Wayne picked us up from our hotel and we had the most amazing day,taking in everything and everywhere down to Cape point and back. point and back.
