I have to say I had one of the best massages ever at this little day spa located in Adam’s Morgan. The thereapist(didn’t get her name!!) was extra thoughtful and skillful in her massage technique. She was really good for ninety minutes! I have given four stars because I do believe the owner is a bit less than gracious. I felt rushed as in to leave at the end of my massage when the owner met me at the door with a cup of water I requested( I was so frazzled by her since I just finished a relaxing massage that I spilled my water). I also did not like I felt compelled to tip( which I always do!) by the owner. I especially tipped adequately $30 for the service that was provided by the therapist and was happy to do so. Not happy at all the owner mentioned anything to me about tipping before my massage. To be fair the therapist agreed to give a full 90 minute massage with out the facial which prompted the owner to tell me make sure you give “good tip”! I did just that I hope!! The owner never asked how my massage was or at least I don’t remember so?! Anyways, that’s minor and the overall experience is okay; it is a small spa and the owner is a bit distracting. If she could be a bit sincerely kinder, it would go a long way!

Today we went to capital blossom day spa for my friend’s birthday for the first time! It was the birthday package and 4 of us went, and two of us shared the room and didn’t receive the same treatment as the others! We got the birthday package which comes with full body massage, facial and a drink and chocolate. However we never received the full body massage, we only got our back massage nothing in the front, no leg massages , they never asked what type of oil we wanted to use except for CBD oil since it’s extra charge. After it was over and we went to pay I let the receptionist know that’s we didn’t get the full service we paid for. And she didn’t really care to give good customer service or any voucher or refund. She just said she will let them know it’s full body massage. Which doesn’t make any difference for us. Overall it was okay service. Didn’t get what I paid for.

Editing my original review: Really great customer service and a solid massage. For transparency- a few weeks ago I had a very bizarre, unrelaxing experience at this place (I was asked to move to a different room *after* my massage had started, it was also then abruptly cut short, and another employee opened the door of my room multiple times during my massage to speak/argue with my tech). I was given a small discount and some free samples by reception, but very shortly after I posted about my experience (2 stars originally) the spa manager, Monica, reached out to me to apologize. She refunded the entire cost of my services and assured me that my experience was unacceptable and not the norm. There’s a lot to be said for good customer service and I did think the massage technique was solid, so I’m editing my review from 2 to 4 stars to reflect that.

I came in with my friend for her birthday. We got the 60 min body massage and sea salt foot scrub groupon but they only do the service for those during the weekend so they told me to request a refund through groupon and schedule for the weekend with them and they’d price match me. Which is AMAZING! So we came in and added a 30 body glow scrub to our session. The body scrub was great, they also added free aromatherapy scents to the mix (i chose the eucalyptus scent). Then they sent me to the shower to rinse off the scrub before my 60minute massage. And the session was amazing. My masseuse was attentive and asked if i was okay with everything the whole time. After the massage and foot scrub they sent us to a sitting area with tea and coffee and chocolates and cookies. Overall the experience was OUTSTANDING! 10/10 definitely recommend.

I have made this my go-to for a great massage. I got the scalp massage a few weeks ago and , although they were extremely busy and I was a little late, I was well taken care of. However, I went for a full body and scalp massage yesterday with a different lady and it wasn't as wonderful as my first full body massage. I'm still having problems with my back muscles that she did not fully massage yesterday and she also told me she was afraid of my hair lol which was not a problem for the last person (note: I have locs but I wash my hair and body thoroughly before getting my massages so my hair was very clean). I guess because of this, she did not give me the full attention I paid for. Other than that, I do love this place and will continue to go.

I have been a member for the last 6-7 months and absolutely love it! I pay $90/month for a 60 min massage and free add-on. I've tried almost all of the massage options (swedish, deep tissue, scalpal, etc) and have had amazing experiences with each! I also have invited a couple friends and they have absolutely loved their experiences too and are now semi-regulars. The rooms and massage tables are very comfy and their lotions, oils, and scrubs are top of the line – such a luxurious experience. Ruby, in particular, has been integral in making sure I feel comfortable and taken care of. I used to have recurring migraines, and Ruby literally has been a major help for reducing my migraines and body aches. If you choose Ruby, you're in great hands!

This was my first time at a spa so I do not have anything to compare my experience to but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The manager Isabella was extremely kind and organized. I emailed her about booking and she was very responsive. My appointment was at 10 am (when they opened). I showed up a little early and surprisingly they had their doors unlocked (unlike many businesses a few minutes before opening) and allowed me to come in a fill out the form. Karen did my massage and facial and left me feeling very relaxed and in a better mood than when I came in. My skin feels so smooth! During my massage, Karen allowed me to change how much pressure she was putting on different areas of my body which I really appreciated. I can’t wait to come back!

Visited at the recommendation of a friend. I even found a Groupon for it, too! The staff were so courteous and polite. When they called to confirm my appointment, they let me know about the parking situation and the nearby garage. ($18 for 2 hrs however it was literally a 3 min walk away). I had a 60-min aromatherapy massage and ended up upgrading to hot stones. It was absolutely delightful. The walls are a little thin so you can hear people come and go. It wasn't a problem for me, but it could be distracting for others. Checkout was a breeze. The lady let me know that they would honor the Groupon rate for my next visit. I can't wait to go back! The next one will be at least 90 minutes.

Such an amazing experience! Came here with my two sisters for the birthday package. We received a 75 minute massage and facial. From the moment we walked in we were treated so well. The reception was extremely welcoming. I wont say exactly what transpired but I will say that they definitely went above and beyond and met expectations that we never even expected. My massage therapist was very professional and courteous. We enjoyed the champagne and chocolates. We never felt rushed to leave and we enjoyed our time there. The birthday girl loved every bit of her experience, and we would definitely recommend visiting this spa for a very relaxing group experience!

I read all the reviews and we expect to have good service. Unfortunately, my partner and I had a bad experience. The lady that gave the massage to my boyfriend wasn’t friendly at all. He left with a headache after he asked to be gentle because it was hurting him. Instead, she said you’re done. Additionally, we were charged $60 to save “our spot” on top of the service charges. After reviewing the receipt of a total of $360 we still left 20% which should be been around $79 total tip leaving almost $40 tip each but no they charged a $90 tip each. It’s very disappointing after bringing my boyfriend for his birthday celebration because the reviews were good.

My husband and I came here as an anniversary gift to each other and received a couples hot stone massage and facials. The services were absolutely amazing. My therapist was Carla, she was awesome - she listened to my body and my muscles and went where the tension was. That is the sign of a good massage therapist. My husband's therapist Anara was amazing as well- you can tell the therapists know what they are doing and they really listen to your body. This was an absolutely beautiful and relaxing experience and I would highly recommend visiting this spa! The neighborhood is also super nice and has a huge variety of shops and restaurants.

My experience at Capital Blossom Day Spa was fantastic! The young lady, Monica, at the front desk greeted me kindly and asked if I needed anything. Only moments later was the room ready for me to enter. The room was clean and orderly, which made for a peaceful and soothing experience. Ruby, my masseuse, did a great job! She was very thorough and professional. I highly recommend the hot stone massage! Very relaxing. When I was finished, the young lady at the front desk had water waiting for me, which I really appreciated. Everyone at the spa was very helpful and nice. I will definitely be returning very soon!

Can’t believe it took me so long to even write this review , this place is absolutely amazing. Everytime I’ve been here has been an amazing experience. I’ve had 4 different therapists , Mim, Terrance , Carla , and Delia. And they were alll great, I personally return to Delia a lot because she’s very good at getting the tightness out of my back. They are super nice and professional , even the receptionist are very nice. Yes this place is deff pricey, but the professionalism and quality of services deff meet the expectations. If you are looking to treat yourself to, I 100% recommend to this place

My girlfriend and I had a couples massage here a little over a week ago. Our services were with Pat and Ruby. My girlfriend was having pain in her mid back, which it was recommended that she do a little deeper of a massage for the painful areas. After a day or so she felt like a new person! Ruby found exactly where it was hurting her and was able to massage out the knots. I myself like more of a medium pressure, and Pat was perfect. I had not felt that relaxed in years! I highly recommend this spa. It is a gem in the Adams Morgan neighborhood and I will certainly be returning.

Coming out of a massage to get a bill that is $100 more than what was expected is just bad form. If you like getting 'sold' (and by sold I mean asked if you want something that is normally part of a service and then charged for it) on add ons during your massage definitely come here. This place is not a spa - not even close. If you are looking for an actual spa with a nice atmosphere where you aren't up sold during your service, go somewhere else. This is basically a strip mall massage parlor in an old brownstone.

Everything was perfect from booking to completion. Ruby and Pat did an excellent job. They were pleasant, communicative throughout. They checked our level of comfort throughout the massage and knew the exact amount of pressure to apply. The room was set up perfectly. It was warm and intimate. The young lady at the front desk greeted us with a smile and was very kind and informative for any questions we had. She immediately wished us a happy anniversary (which was the point of the massage) I can't wait to return!

Amazing Atmosphere and Service! Came here with my friend for our birthdays. We got the anniversary massage with hot stones and facials. The missus gave great feedbacks about what they could tell about my body, and you can tell they know thier stuff. The service is excellent, and they make you very comfortable. We were very satisfied with our results as well. We left feeling relaxed and brand new. The anniversary package also comes with chocolates and champagne, arranged beautifully for your enjoyment.

Myself and one other friend planned a spa weekend at Capital Blossom and it was definitely a great experience. Monica helped me throughout the entire booking process making any necessary modifications super easy for me. I appreciate the time she took and will be back! The techs were great and there’s a lot of packages to choose from no matter how deep your pockets are which was awesome and very flexible for anyone and everyone. Next time I’m coming for a scrub! Had the BEST massage with Anara. Came in desperate to fix my aches and pains from a desk job, and came out feeling like I was in my teens! Anara was so attentive to all my needs and went above and beyond. I’ve had a lot of massages in the DC/DMV area but Anara was the first to truly care about my body and wellbeing. She was very knowledgeable about the human body and how to release tension correctly. Happy to say I have found my go-to massage place with Anara. Can’t wait for my next session!

I recently moved to the DMV area and was looking for a great day spa. I've been here twice and loved every minute of it. Ruby is the absolute best! I had a pinched nerve in my shoulder and the two sessions that I had with her has made me feel sooooo much better. I book 90 min massages because 60 mins just isn't enough! Customer service is great! There are often same day appointments so you don't have to book weeks in advance which is nice. 10/10 recommend! So happy I found this gem :)

Was visiting on vacation and used Groupon to narrow down my search of a nice couples massage. Unfortunately the groupons are only valid on certain days, however they offered a solution and we’re more than patient, as our Uber there was a horrific experience. The massage itself was hands down best couples massage we’ve had. I usually got 10-15 massages a year and I would easily put this in my top 3. Very professional and efficient. Will 100% be returning on our next trip.

Found this spa on Groupon, and purchased my mom a birthday package. SHE LOVED IT! She raved about how knowledgeable the staff was, how clean the spa was, and how peaceful the space felt. The spa offers tea, water, (and if you purchased it…) champagne and chocolates once your treatment is finished. The staff was very friendly, and excited to have you— explained the options to upgrade and payment was super easy. Highly recommend this spa!

ABSOLUTELY amazing! By far the best massage I have ever received. The spa itself was very clean, welcoming, and relaxing. The customer service from both reception and the massage techs was outstanding. I don’t live in the area however I will book this place every time I come up here. Nina was amazing! My face felt so soft and taken care of so well when she was done. I loved our talks during the session. Monica at the reception was also very welcoming! I used a certificate from my brother-in-love who was my secret santa in 2021. Turns out he had also purchased the champagne and chocolates that came with the package. It was a pleasant surprise! Overall the whole experience made my week!

Horrible. Not relaxing. Unskilled. If you like having BUCKETS of oil dumped on you this place is for you. Also, mainly used her forearms with very little hand work. I've had a lot of massages and I question if this person was professionally trained given the experience. The room was so small she couldn't walk around the table which also made it difficult for her to work. +$20 to park in the garage nearby.

Pat was so professional, kind, polite. She was letting me know everything she was doing. She did a marvelous job on my whole body and of course my feet. I felt so good all DAY. Honestly she is the best I have ever had. I never had a foot scrub, to say it was fantastic. I kept speaking about her all day, because my body and feet felt good. I truly appreciate her. This spa is AMAZING!!! I decided to have my 1st full-body massage for my birthday and I used Google to do my research. This was 1 of many that popped up during my search and I am SO HAPPY that I found them!!! I had the most wonderful experience and the best massage and facial. I had a great experience at Capital Blossom Day Spa! I was visiting from out of town and they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment last minute. I got a body polish and massage from Carla, who was fantastic! She was very attentive and checked in to make sure the pressure was just right. I’ll definitely be returning to Capital Blossom during any future DC visits. Highly recommend!

Mika was my person and let me tell you, she gets the job done! I went in for a massage and facial for my birthday my husband surprised me with. She made me feel very safe and relaxed. Mika got into muscles I didn't even know I had! I also had a little birthday champagne and chocolate for me after. I would recommend to anyone looking for a special gift for someone else or yourself!

Overall the services were very good. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Prior to arrival we called to book appointments and was told there were no appointments available for the day we were trying to visit. After going online we were able to book staggered appointments. Upon arrival the place was nicely decorated. The rooms were a bit small and there was only 1 bathroom.

My Boyfriend surprised me for Valentine's Day/ Birthday with their Birthday package. They did an amazing job from calling me and letting me know I had a scheduled service, to the communication while there. I am also very hesitant to go out due to covid and they did a good job of cleaning and keeping masks on. The champagne and chocolates was a great touch! Will be back!

This was a fantastic experience for myself and my daughter. We got facials, deep tissue massages, scalp massages and foot massages. They booked us in the same room and were professional and courteous. The massages were great, and this was one of the best facials I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back! Just went here for a massage and facial, Jackson was my massage therapist and was amazing, Carla did my facial and was wonderful - I’m sure she is also an excellent massage therapist based on the mini massage she did for my neck and shoulders during the facial. The staff is sweet and communicative, the prices are great, and the service is incredible. They match discounts and promotions, so if you find one, just call them and they will honor it. Bliss! This was hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. I felt so incredibly relaxed and adding the hot stones was worth it. I also received a facial and Nina was extremely knowledgeable and made helpful suggestions based on my skin type. Isabella gave me possibly the best facial I've ever had, and Jackson's massage was excellent. Also really lovely front desk person and parking wasn't terrible. I got microdermabrasion and had absolutely zero cuts, even as Isabella clearly made a visible difference in my acne scarring that caused dark spots. I’ll definitely be back. Well worth the price.

I was booked for a birthday package, so the services (facial and massage) were cool, I’ve never had either service professionally… but would’ve been nice too get the little amenities i was told i would get with the package . Such a nice experience! I went to this spa after having some problems with stiff neck and back pain, now I feel sooo much better! The masseuse was so nice and accommodating and I love how clean the place was. The music is also a nice touch. The price was very affordable too for the quality they deliver. Your front desk staff is amazing and she is so gracious. I'm a massage therapist and esthetician and I have to say that is one of the best mini facials I have ever had. And although I could not communicate well with my MT he did exactly as I asked. The only negative was the shower I used after the body polish. The water was freezing.

I recently got a massage here as a surprise gift. My masseuse, Sade, made me feel comfortable and treated me like a black queen. She was very attentive and really went to work on my knots. I wish I had done an 1 hour massage instead of 30 minutes, but I’ll try to get a longer massage next time. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

My experience with Sade on 12/16:23 was incredible, she has gifted hands. I came with so much tightness and stored up stress and trauma, and walked away feeling so much calmer and lighter. I wish I lived in DC so she can be my regular masseuse but I am definitely excited to book with her on my next trip soon! Thank you Sade.

Only front desk was professional.All the other that came after it an experience to forget.Defenly the service provider that took care of me needs more training in customer care and services. On top of that the water in the steamer wasn't clear at all. Too bad I saw it in the end .I wouldn't have had the service.

My body massage experience was amazing! You have to ask for Kanda. The room was beautiful and relaxing! Kanda was very knowledgeable and educated me on why she targeted certain muscles. Kanda was attentive and genuinely cared that I was comfortable during the massage. Great massage experience!

A very beautiful spa. Good people and great service. The massage therapist was so professional. She said she worked in many high end hotels and spa before. Actually, this is the best massage I have ever had. I will come every weekend. I highly recommend it and trust me, you will not regret.

Very polite with great customer service. Prior to receiving your service they offer a variety of beverages along with biscoff,complimentary. Through out your service are asked multiple times about the pressure and if you are okay. To me that is very reassuring so it was GREAT!!

Have come here a few times and the staff and massages are all great. Today Carla did a massage mini facial and paraffin wax on me and she was amazing. Really found my tender and tight spots and stretched me and rubbed a lot of pain away. She very sweet, too. Highly recommend.

Very clean and courteous place with professional quality service. I had a bunch of knots in my neck and the massage therapist was able to ease all my tension. The location is very convenient too, with a lot of open parking. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Got a Swedish massage-it was great. This was my first ever spa experience and it was amazing. Very clean place and immediately there's a calm, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. I felt so relaxed after my massage. Very reasonable prices especially for the experience.

Call for Carla if you can. She gave me the best massage of my life!!! They apply heat and pressure based on your preference. I opted for the hardcore pressure and heat and it worked wonders for my body. Very comfortable and chill atmosphere overall!!!

Ruby was an absolute professional who made my skin look so refreshed. She took her time extracting clogged pores. She found all of the knots in my stressed back and with warming stones, I felt all my tension dissipate. Treat yourself! You deserve it.

I’ve seen Carla twice and she is great. So good at finding the tight muscles and sticks with it until they loosen. There are different specials each month and it’s well worth it not on special also.

Excellent service. I took hydra facial oxygen infused treatment. My skin is acne proned but after only one 30 minute session i saw significant difference in my skin. Love it and will visit again.
