Ian Storey is such an abrasive, argumentative person. I couldn't imagine having him in my corner. I called in to get a quote but got no response, so I emailed. It turns out he prefers email (not the best service for anyone who wants to be able to speak to there solicitor). As he would only commicate over email, he misunderstood and immediately replied calling me a tax cheat. When I explained that I would end up paying more tax and in fact not trying to cheat, he rolled back his accusation but still refused to apologise. This was withing three emails. Wow. If you want a solicitor who will take time to understand the facts before jumping to a conclusion, my Interaction with Ian, indicated to me, this is not thay type of person. If you want a little man who can't apologise after acting to fast, well... Plenty of good solicitors in the area.

As an estate agent in the local area I have dealt with Ashley Avis at Capstick Dale & Partners for a number of years. She has always been exceptionally proficient and professional, with her proactivity, faultless communication and problem solving being her most valuable assets. Recently, she came to my rescue on a particularly challenging transaction that involved all manner of complications that many other solicitors would not have been able to navigate through. Ashley performed at a level beyond any that I've experienced before and without her input there is no question that the deal would have fallen apart. Having worked closely with conveyancing solicitors for 10 years I can confidently say that Ashley is one of very few solicitors that I would personally recommend.

Exactly as you'd expect a good solicitors to operate. Timely, well informed and flexible when it came to using Whatsapp vs letters and email. I'd gone along with a 'where there is blame there is a claim' organisation who then went bust, and somehow were able to claim thousands of pounds from me for not appearing at an appointment somewhere with someone. Within 24 hours Andrew had determined the 'solicitors' going after me had been somewhat naughty, and turned my dire situation around tothe point that rather than pay thousands of pounds I received a cheque for thousands of pounds. For this reason, I can't recommend Capstick enough. They turned a dubious bill from some dubious people into a sizable windfall.

We used Capstick Dale for the recent sale of our property. The service we received was excellent. Lauren Beasley was very thorough and responsive to any questions that we had. This is our third move but the first one when we have used Capstick Dale, and it was by far the smoothest, bearing in mind - this is during the pandemic (when nothing is easy). Due to the pandemic there was limited face to face contact but just because we didn't meet Lauren we didn't feel that she was any less invested in our case. I personally felt that we would have received the same high standard of service whether we were selling a 100K property or a 2 million pound property. I would highly recommend and will use again

I recently had a litigation issue for which I needed urgent attention to prevent it from escalating into something much bigger. I had previously used the services of Capstick Dale for another issue which they had resolved for me very well, thus I reached out to Louis Beglan at the firm again and asked him for his assistance in the new matter. Louis, comprehended the urgency of the matter and pretty much immediately came back to me with a very helpful response to the matter that I was able to move forward with. Overall, a great firm that I would recommend to any one needing legal assistance as the people who work there are very responsive, professional and helpful.

I recently used Capstick Dale for conveyancing and will writing services, and I would highly recommend them. Lauren, the solicitor who handled our house sale and purchase, was impressively efficient and she dealt with any queries I had very quickly and professionally.
