I had horrible experience with the manager of the Carp airport. My friend who is the pilot in this airport invited me and my son to visit him. I parked in front of the main office and we called to my friend and after we been waiting him in front of the barrier watching airplanes. The person from the office approached us and asked what we doing here, why we staying here and who we are. I explained and this guy in really rude form told me to go on the parking lot and wait there. I told him that it is not harm if we staying here and watching airplanes, after that he snapped in front of my son that..."before even come here we have to learn rules and regulations of the airport, that he is the manager and everyone must follow his orders". On my argument that we did not cross an any restricted area he told me in from of my son that he tired of listening ... after that it was completely rude sentence. And my son is 6. I left and I would NEVER will go there again.

Fantastic airport with a long runway, great parking, staff is super friendly and helpful, the airport itself is well maintained and it isn’t too busy. Airport is relatively close to the town of Carp and isn’t too hard to get to! I recommend an Uber since the taxis near by with rip you off. Definitely will return again!

Lovely little airport. Had a fantastic time here. Facilities were great and we were up in the air and on our way to Toronto in less than 15 minutes - would have been quicker but someone forgot their phone in the car so we had to deplane for it!

Amazing airport, long runway, not too busy, very friendly operator, convenient fuel pumps and well maintained. If you're flying to Ottawa this is the place to go
