My first experience at Cask and Barrel with my friends was so memorable I will definitely come back with more memories. The atmosphere was great I went on a night when the Good Vibes event was being held. Local DJs showcased their talent, the music was a very good vibe. The food was special because it was made with love. When food tastes good you know it was made with love. Cask and Barrel’s Greek salad made me fall in love with cherry tomatoes. They choose the best ingredients on the market and I can tell because their cherry tomatoes are the best I’ve ever had. They are strawberries in disguise! Because they taste exactly like that. Every dish was perfected dressed with mouthwatering sauces or dressings. I highly recommend the Greek salad and Penne Jambalaya! The prices are reasonable for what you get. The flavours, portions and presentation are there. Not only was all the food made with love but it was also served with love. David, our server, was an unforgettable star. He made my friends and I feel welcomed, well looked after and entertained with his friendly, charismatic and passionate service. The fact that he was serving alone on a busy night and didn’t show one ounce that he was stressed is profoundly commendable. He kept his cool, good vibes, smile and friendly service throughout our stay. It goes to show just how much of a natural he is at what he does. He always made time to check in with our table and always made a friendly and funny memorable way to converse with us each time. When we ordered things that weren’t available at the time he made sure to recommend a alternative that still would satisfy our craving. He really cared about getting things right. His efforts, passion for what he does and his good vibes/character make David standout he is a gift to Cask and Barrel and to the hospitality industry. He is an asset. A good vibe. Cheers David and Cask and Barrel! ❤️
Average place with average food with less then average portion sizes. We got a tray to share, the ratio of dip to chips was too big in favour of the chips, the dip was on the edge of being bland. The waitress was friendly enough when she remembered we were in the building, was more interested in the larger tables (ie bigger tips) and tables of men( again bigger tips) Back to portion sizes the lava cake was tasty though for the size woefully inadequate for the price, it is a cheap dessert to make, don’t skimp. The house wines though were tasty, we hit at happy hour so the reduced alcohol bill averaged out the higher food prices. Best I can give is average for this visit.

Experience was so bad. The food was either WAY too salty, or was literally just meat. “Roast tender”. Tender what? The 4 carrot sticks on the plate looked like they were chopped by a child, and food was very slow to come. 20$ for an old fashioned is a bit much. Also, would have been nice to have been given 4 menus for 4 people, not 2 for the table, especially when the menu is made of printer paper. Server also told us plainly she didn’t have recommendations for good or drinks as she hadn’t had most of it. Not really a ringing endorsement.

Ordered appetizers, took over 45 minutes to get, tasted like regular food you can get at a pub. Nothing spectacular. Server kept sitting with us, even though we don’t know them from anywhere, really interfered with our conversations. Overall, nothing stood out about this place, I won’t return as there are many tried and true places with much better service.

Stopped by last night for a drink and dinner. Came here to rave about the server. The person serving the entire restaurant was very polite, made good recommendations, and was clearly very talented. They were serving, bartending, and running food/drinks. I know from experience that wearing so many hats at once can be stressful but they didn’t let that show for a second. Food and drinks were great too.
What started as a great evening out, turned very sour. The owner needs to realize and understand the value of her customers. Servers were great for our event, the owner was very unprofessional in keeping tabs for the patrons. We will not be back to this venue.

Extremely friendly staff that was very patient with me while i was taking a long time to order food. The atmosphere on the outdoot patio was nice and quiet, however not much of a view. Lastly the food had a very fun flavour twist that took my mouth through an adventure. All in all a good resteraunt.
Warm atmosphere. Great happy hour. Owners Wayne and Susan are lovely humans. They put on fun events. Patio is dog friendly. Highly recommend for parties and small private events.
Came for the Oktoberfest event with Goldtooth. My new favourite pub! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Thanks for supporting live music!
