We had a horrific experience with Dr. Khan and would not recommend him for anything. My 90 yr old father was referred for extraction of 3 molars.. Two had chronic infections and the 3rd broke off below the gum. My father needed attention urgently. During the consultation, Dr. Khan was given my father's complete medical history (including blood thinner use) and xrays were taken. Dr. Khan looked at the x-ray and rhymed off a long list of procedures for his assistant to list. He then said he was going to extract SIX teeth and to work on a number of others. My father was understandibly shocked and blurted out 'I want a second opinion'. I said I'd check back with the family dentist before going ahead. After checking with the family dentist we called and got an appointment for the surgery. I called back as we were concerned about how much of this long list of work would be done in the 1 visit. I also had questions about post-op due to blood thinners, which Dr. Khan did not address during the consult. His reception called me back and said he had reviewed my father's file, that he was not suitable for surgery outside a hospital and for us to go from Kingston to Sunnybrook in Toronto DURING THE PANDEMIC with a 90 YEAR OLD. Dr. Khan had ALREADY BOOKED THE SURGERY. HE HAD NO NEW INFORMATION WHEN HE CANCELLED MY FATHER"S SURGERY. HE ONLY CANCELLED AFTER I ASKED THE 2 QUESTIONS re: Amount of work in 1 visit and how post op bleeding would be handled. These are reasonable questions. Dr. Kahn rhymed off the list of procedures VERY FAST during the consult. Subsequently, we were able to get my father treated successfully, without complications. The other surgeon told us what he'd do to handle the bleeding DURING THE CONSULT and we were given instructions. My father is healing well and there were not issues. A hospital was not required. From my experience, Dr. Khan impressed me as a) Arrogant, b) Mercenary & Greedy c) Either Unethical or Sloppy or both in terms of assessing the case. No new information was made available when we got booted by Dr. Kahn. If my father was unsuitable for treatment in a surgeon's office, he should have assest that at the consult. Had I not phoned with questions, the surgery would have proceeeded. As it turned out, the surgery went fine in a DIFFERENT SURGEON's office. Something was not right at all with this interation with this doctor. We got the distinct feeling that my father's well being was of no concern to Dr. Khan. His cancellation of my father's scheduled surgery meant a delay of several weeks in getting urgently needed treatment. In the end we were glad that we did not proceed with Dr. Khan, despite the delay that resulted from his seemingly arbirtrary cancellation of the surgery.

My son and I have been patients here since 2015. I attended today for a cleaning and after what happened, we are leaving this practice. This is the third negative experience I’ve had with this clinic in the last 5 years. The first experience was paying for an expensive night guard only for it to break after a few weeks. No offer to replace. A few years ago, they counted my teeth?? (without explaining it wasn’t covered by my insurance and I was out hundreds of dollars). After that time, I specifically asked the practice to please not do anything to my teeth if it’s not covered by my insurance or to please review the cost before proceeding. During my cleaning today, the dentist proceeded to clean my teeth, polish and then put fluoride. The dentist didn’t even ask me if I wanted polish in the first place. Lo and behold, I was surprised with a $70 charge. Not pleased, at all. When I expressed frustration, the new young receptionist proceeded to argue with me stating there’s “no way to know the charge by insurance until AFTER the procedure”, which is incorrect. No, I don’t need to come to see you every 4-5 months, especially as there’s nothing wrong with my teeth that my new night guard doesn’t fix. So, I’m done with this money grab. I’ve called a new practice and we are switching. My dad golf’s with a bunch of dentists and he’s warned me about this practice. I should have listened. As a single parent, I cannot manage unexpected high charges by a dentist, especially during inflation. I gave you three chances and you’ve now lost 2 patients who’ve been with you since 2015. Look out for your patients a bit more. Oh, and the labour complaint & article I just read is horrific.

Most of the staff here are wonderful. They know your name, and put you at ease to the best of their ability. I have diagnosed anxiety disorders and dentistry is extremely difficult for me. They never make me feel silly or annoying for being nervous. They simply talk me through what’s going on. They check in periodically to make sure i’m okay too. Even when busy you can tell Dr. Khan tries to give you the time you need. He rushes around but doesn’t make you feel like a burden in doing so. Quick but professional! the only recommendation I have is that post-op care info could be a little bit more detailed. They give a package of gauze, a pamphlet and some verbal instructions but it can be a bit of a whirlwind when the procedure is over because the doc is off to the next patient. It very well could have been the medicine confusing me a bit, but a bit more instruction would be good. (That being said, they always do their best to help if you call with a question!) I recommend this place especially if you have anxiety or the dentist just makes you uncomfortable. The offices have cool themes too! Like music, hockey, etc. Thanks Dr. Kahn and Team!

I went in for a simple filling for some occasional cavity pain (some sensitivity to sweets), I know all fillings are uncomfortable but this was something else. I ended up with a massive bruise and swelling that lasted over a week (worse than getting wisdom teeth out), I was unable to open my jaw more than a few centimeters and chewing was impossible for a couple days. I've never had this reaction to a filling before. The pain just got worse and they re-did the filling. The nightmare keeps going. The pain after the second filling was FAR worse. I could no longer chew on that side of my mouth at all, which was not a problem prior to my initial filling. I was in crippling pain for three weeks, unable to let Advil wear off for even an hour. After going to a different dentist it was concluded that I now had a crack in my tooth and required a root canal from a specialist. All I can say for sure is that I didn't have any chewing or pressure pain before I got my filling there and it was three months of dental visits and over $2000 to fix it. Exercise caution.

I would not recommend this dentistry not because of the dentist, but because of the front end staff. We have dental coverage through our insurance plan so they recommend we come as often as we can for teeth cleaning. However my husband was not only charged full price for it but he was not informed that his scaling has already been used up for the year. Yet they continue make more appointments for him to come in for fillings and teeth cleaning when they know full well we will be paying out of pocket. How irresponsible. When I called to ask, they said it was my job to know all of the ins and outs of my dental plan and they 'cannot be bothered to request an estimate for every little thing'. Lady, if you're going to ask me for over $100 dollars for a cleaning I wouldn't think that was a little thing. I will be switching my entire family out of this practice. Try to find somewhere will actually be accountable for your plan and use it responsibly.

Be Careful! Previously they didn't charge the Manulife covered patients and ignored their share but I believe they performed unnecessary services to compensate it without asking the patients or get their consent to proceed. They cannot do it anymore and neither warn you before you get the services. Additionally the prices are much more expensive than the norm and perhaps the insurance company found their unlawful actions as the clinic is not able to submit the claims directly to insurance company any more. They will charge you full price and you have to submit the claims yourself and reimbursed a portion of what you paid. I went to redone a damaged filling hoping to have it redone by white resin but they just repaired it by using a little white material and left the old black stuff while charged me near $600 for several more unnecessary x-ray and other unwanted services. Won't see them again!

This dental practice is OUTSTANDING!!! They go well above and beyond the norm to ensure an optimal customer experience. Dr. Khan is an incredibly efficient, capable and caring dentist who has extensive experience. All staff are kind and attentive, the office is pleasant and welcoming. You could not find a better practice anywhere on this planet!!! Since I have the utmost confidence that Dr. Khan's assessments and treatments meet my needs, I am at ease, knowing that I receive superior dental care. I am so thankful for this practice that puts me first and does everything possible to support me in meeting my needs as an individual. As a healthcare practitioner myself, I have high expectations for my dental care. Dr. Khan EXCEEDS my expectations, every single time. No wonder his staff are also so devoted to their patients, they would not consider anything but the best for us. I AM SO GRATEFUL!!!!

It was my first time there. I made my app't 4 mths ago when I moved here. It was 1015 am. The first thing I saw when I walked through the front entrance was the dirt. There was hand sanitizer sitting on a large shoe cubby that you could barely tell was white due to the dirt. The floor mats were covered with dirt and the floors looked quite dirty Even though I told them I was up to date on my xrays and dental exam (I go for cleaning every 3 months because of my implants), they still wanted to do xrays. Here I prevailed. I did however receive a 5 minute COMPLETE ORAL EXAM of no upper teeth and my lower 6 natural teeth, 3 crowns and 4 crowned implants all in exceptional condition for the fee guide price of $148!!!! I called the dentist that referred me here and they would have reduced this fee because of no upper teeth. I will NOT return because of the condition of the place. Very disappointed.

Our family are very thankful for the incredible treatment we received from ALL the staff at Cataraqui Woods Dentistry. Everyone there, from the front desk staff, dental hygienists, dental assistants and dentists, were incredibly friendly, kind, compassionate, understanding and professional. Everyone there made our whole family feel welcomed and accepted! We have a daughter with special needs and the staff that worked with her were just wonderful, reassuring and made sure she felt heard and safe. We all received top-notch dental care there and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this dental clinic to family and friends. My first visit to Cataraqui Woods Dentistry came back in August 2020 when I chipped a tooth pretty bad. Their practice came highly recommended by some of my colleagues so I inquired and they booked me an appointment for the next day! Fast forward another year being a student and with COVID-19 not allowing me to head home to my traditional dentist for a cleaning I reached out and they happily accepted me as a new patient. Even given these times they are always able to squeeze me in on short notice. Their staff (receptionist, hygienist and dentist) are kind, funny, patient, and make going to the dentist enjoyable (especially for a nervous patient like myself). I have recommended their practice already and will continue doing so going forward. Thanks everyone at Cataraqui Woods Dentistry!

This is the place to get your implants! I took my mother to another place and it was going to be twice the price. On top of that, when I went here with my Mom, I was advised to have my mother try a new denture without the implants and see how that went (saving both the cost of the implants and the aggravation of the surgery). We are going down that road now. And on top of this, I wasn't even charged for this visit! I want to add that while I am going to consider my options when there are thousands of dollars difference in price, I also don't mess around with surgical procedures (and I treat my mother the same as myself). In this regard, Cataraqui was highly recommended to me which was part of the reason I came here. I highly recommend Dr. Khan.

My family and I have been going to Waji for a few years. He has a way of making people feel completely at ease during treatment. Recently I sent my dad (who regularly sees a dentist in Renfrew) to Waji for some dental work after her broke a tooth; Waji must have sensed something was up as he suggested to my dad to have a dr check up (I guess you can tell a lot from someone’s mouth) anyways, he saved my dads life and I couldn’t be more thankful for him. My dad had an undiagnosed heart issue. I love the office itself, Alina and Cassie at the front are always warm, Maddie is awesome with kids to clean their teeth, and Alla his assistant is always on the ball. If I could rate then higher I would, but for now..5 stars.

Love this clinic, they are very high tech, all staff are welcoming and they are extremely good with first timers!! My sons both had their first appointments around 2 years old. The staff adapted very well each time we visited and they NEVER forced them to do something they were not ready. The staff made everything fun. They started with a ride in the chair, then introduced the cleaning tools and then they let them play with the vacuum and the water sprayer. It made ALL the difference!! My sons both love going to the dentist and I am very grateful to cat wood dentistry. Also, this place is spotless, ho and I just recently went and they are not charging any additional fees because of covid, which some do

I recently had a dental appointment with Dr. Khan and his wonderful team, including his admin staff and hygienist. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of excellent. The admin staff greeted me warmly upon arrival and were extremely helpful in getting me checked in. My hygienist, was incredibly kind and thorough. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the cleaning process. Not only did she provide excellent care, but she also gave me some great tips for maintaining my oral health at home. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience at the dentist. I highly recommend Cataraqui Woods Dentistry dental care clinic.

The staff have always been courteous and professional. However approx 6 years ago I had 3 fillings completed. A few weeks ago, one of the filled teeth crumbled and had to be removed. I had the removal done at this location. While the removal was very professional, it seems like perhaps there was an issue when they filled it...initially after the filling, I returned several times with pain in the area (beyond what I would consider normal, for longer than expected) with never any real solution. Tooth #2 has now just broken. Needless to say, the repair will be carried out elsewhere. Perhaps a fine place for cleanings, but I would not recommend for anything beyond that

We can't say enough great things about Cataraqui Woods dentistry! The location is so convenient with ample parking, the office itself is beautiful, modern and spacious. The staff are professional and friendly. Right from the reception at the front desk you get the feeling that everyone cares about giving the best service. I used to be anxious about going to the dentist but I have such confidence in the hygienists and dentists that it isn't an issue anymore. Whether it's just a check up, or, most recently, a chipped tooth, they got an appointment for me quickly and they repaired my tooth on the spot. We feel very fortunate to have found Cataraqui Woods dentistry.

Best fit for me. Very happy. I have been to my fair share of dentists over the years. I had suffered a sports injury in my college days. Tooth extractions, root canals. You name it. Years later it was time to look into my options for a replacement front tooth. I am almost through the complete process of having 4 implants completed. I have had a deep cleaning, regular cleanings, extractions, bone and gum grafting including 4 Implants. All with Cataraqui! Dr. Khan and his team have made me feel most comfortable. Top notch technology. They pride themselves on being innovative. The sports theme offices are a nice touch too.

On arriving at the office for my first visit to Cataraqui Woods Dentistry I was impressed with the greeting I received! The people at the front desk welcome you with a smile and make you feel comfortable and at ease. I cannot remember the lady’s name who took me into the examining room who also greets you with a smile and explains the the work that will be taking place. From there I met Dr Khan, friendly and professional, who explained to me the work I required regarding my implant. In conclusion, my experience was very positive and I would recommend this dentistry to my family and friends.

My visit was as always good but the follow up conversation with your receptionist today 12th November was far from satisfactory. My Wife suggested I ask to get a quote for implants the receptionist informed me that I had advised on my previous visit that I did not want implants I was unaware of such a conversation. The receptionist informed me that they were expensive and she would have to check my plan I at no time asked if my plan would cover I just required a quote. The way my query was handled insinuated that I could not afford it.I find this most insulting and unprofessional.

I have been here with a 100% insurance they exhaust it for one root canal and left side cleaning 1500. in New Year session I had one night guard and right side cleaning. it took 6 unit to clean a non smoker teeth. Then on top of that without my consent they charged me over 100% insurance. I had faith in them which they shattered as my husband kept on telling me cleaning for you should not be that complicated. And still they want me to come for left side cleaning again. Long story short stay away....

I have been to this dental facility a few times now and I can say that I won't be returning. I have tried to like it out of convenience of location, but I am not a fan. With the exception of the receptionist Kat, I find the staff including Dr. Khan devoid of personality. One does not feel welcome or like they are a valued customer. Dr. Khan makes you feel like you are a number and does not address concerns at all. This practice is clearly based on volume and not quality service.

Recently had a scheduled cleaning and my experience was so bad I paid cash to have them re-cleaned the next day at a different dentistry. By far the worst cleaning I have ever experienced. Scaling and flossing is what they call a cleaning for full price. No water pick, No rinse and very little effort with dental work. I can... and... do a better cleaning myself than this place. HORRIBLE! Need to be refunded for this pathetic excuse for a cleaning. Do not go here!

Dr. Jasminka Korcok, and her assistant, did a great job doing my annual check-up and routine cleaning. She is very good at connecting with her patients as people, thereby respecting them and relaxing them. In more than 50 years of going to the dentist, this is the first time that I’ve ever looked forward to going! A great team, working really well together. We are fortunate to have them taking such good care of all of us. Thank you everyone!

Everything about my visits are perfect. The communication is excellent and always helpful and I feel great after every visit…always getting what is paid for. Today had a cleaning and like every time before my teeth feel clean .. not rushed and never a step missed!! The team always makes me feel comfortable as well as whenever my girls go. Dr Khan is always sooo thoughtful and caring beyond his profession!! Highly recommended!!!

I normally hate having any dental work done as the novacane makes my whole body sore as heck after it thaws. My teeth normally ALWAYS ache and give me a head ache after any filling or work I've had done as well. But Dr Jasminka Korcok was amazing. The only pain I feel is where the needle went in to freeze my mouth. My gums got stabbed by a pretty long needle so that's 100% to be expected. Amazing work, thank you guys so much!

We recently joined this clinic and I have nothing but good things to say. The office is so efficient. The admin staff are very friendly and appointments are booking less than a month out. They have been able to change my appointments easily to accommodate my schedule. They alert by text for appointment reminders which I love. Most importantly for me, dentist was amazing with my 3 year old. I would definitely recommend!

Had great professional care from Dr Korcok and I believe "Cheryl" the technician late on a Friday afternoon. Had a bit of difficulty with the initial telephone request but upon arrival, was whisked right in to no-nonsense professional and relaxing care. Options were carefully and accurately explained. Highly recommended (been a patient here for almost five years and always top quality professional care). Thank you.

As always no issues, friendly and professional, implemented a few saftety precautions directing you to.washroom to wash and sanitize hands when you first arrive. While sitting in hygiene chair watched other patients come and go, and observed everyone doing there part in cleaning and sanitizing but i always observed this even before covid. I like that they always remember your name and family members.

Very clean place the people who work there seem to be quite knowledgeable and very courteous. They know exactly what you need done and will explain the procedure so we the client can understand. I've got my next appointment coming, and they took a lot of the stress away, so I'm feeling better going into this. I will let you all know how well they've recreated my beautiful smile hahaha .

I have had the best experiences at this clinic. Dr Khan and his team took such great care of me. From initial consult to implants, crowns and cleanings, I have been been so happy with my results. Everyone at Cat. woods dentistry has been awesome to work with. Friendly, accommodating & professional They've been my dental office of choice for 7~ years. I can't praise them enough for how positive my experiences have been. Nobody likes having to get a tooth filled or a root canal etc. The staff make the whole process as easy and worry free as possible.

Had to make an appointment for an emergency extraction. They were able to get me in the same day, and schedule me my new patient exam and cleaning the very next day. Everyone was wonderful and friendly. The office itself is inviting. Honestly the easiest dentist experience of my 30 years. Easy to see why ppl say it's the best in Kingston. Thank you !

Dr. Khan and his staff are amazing. My sons and I have gone here for the last 5 years and have never had a complaint. They are professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, and thorough. The rooms are also individually decorated with different themes which is a great way to distract those that may have a fear of going to the dentist. Top notch!!!

Stay away from this place before they start making fool of you. They will exaust your insurance first and then start asking you to pay from your on pocket and the worse part is that is just for cleaning, that still has no end after 5 sessions.. Do not recommend this place at all.

I had a great experience getting my teeth cleaned by Caroline, she is really good and thorough. It is very safe to get dental work at this office. All of the staff is very professional. Special thanks to Dr Aujla and Bianca for making my dental appointment a good experience.

Dr. Khan and his assistant(s) are the most amazing people you can deal with. As a disabled person they accommodated me to the max! Insurance covered there on the spot. No need to worry about submitting anything on your own. Couldn't recommend a better Dentist than Dr. Khan!

Dr.Khan and his staff are wonderful, always looking out for the patient. They are very professional and they treat you like family. Very knowledgeable also, I would highly recommend anyone to them....and the people I did recommend are very happy with his service.

First time visit. Everything from making online, to getting a phone call 5 minutes later to schedule my initial appt. Office is clean, and staff are extremely friendly and inviting. The appt was very thorough and follow up appts scheduled. 110% reccomend!

For us going there is like being home , first the service is perfect and only good vibes talking to the technician , reception gils plus they're so amazing with the kids . For over 4-5 years we go there and we are please with their professionalism.

This establishment is clean and welcoming. I had braces done by Dr. Khan nearly a year ago now and i couldn't be happier with the results. The process was easy from a patients perspective, as the staff was knowledgeable, and confident.

I do not have pictures yet. I am doing a complete top and bottom implant for full dentures. So far, the Doctor and staff is extremely professional and helps me to relax while they work. So far I am extremely happy.

Always a great experience. Everyone is very patient, understanding, and friendly. They’re great with kids too; my 2.5 year old had a fun time and is actually looking forward to returning! Lol

Simple in what they do is great regardless of what needs to be done. EXCELLENT hygienist as well in Jennifer!! Not to mention my dentist - the only one I allow near my mouth with a needle!!!

The clinic charged me extra fees that the insurance company refused to cover. ( i paid) I dont understand the fee. They refused to cooperate and explain that fee to the insurance company.

My first visit and I can’t over express how positive the experience has been to date. Everyone was very courteous and friendly. I am looking forward to the planned future treatments.
