Not a bad park, I'd say it's almost more of a green due to all the open space so it's great for families with toddlers so you can watch them. Also a really nice kids play area with swings and all sorts. Would be even better if there was a cafe but I'm not sure this park gets enough visitors to warrant a cafe.

Went here for a bat walk run by friends of Cator Park and honestly it was so amazing, I thought we might see one or two bats but we saw tonnes, they had bat detectors and everything. It was such a great way to spend an hour and it's all run by volunteers, I cannot praise it highly enough.

Very nice park! Walking here with my dog is really nice especially in a nice hot weather. It's a 30 minute walk from my home to here, when I get closer to here I enter a small trail where a lot of people cycle and it's beautiful! Anyways I totally recommend this park! \^o^/

Could do with a better play park area, and some more structures dedicated to younger kids but, other than that, it's a great space - especially in the Summer. My son loves running through the raised area in the middle as it's like mini undergrowth …

Lovely park with large established trees (so lots of shade) a small river, play area and large expanses of grass. It always seems quite quiet when I go (especially compared to busier Crystal Palace Park), so feels like a bit of a hidden gem / oasis.

Another great park in Beckenham, perfect for dog walkers, runners or families. Nice play area, its a bit further out of town so not so busy during holidays. Be careful when walking through in the dark as not well lit, so easy to walk into mud!

This is a large park well stocked with trees and shrubs, having a small river running through the centre. It is located in the centre of a nice area of private housing and is adjacent to a large secondary school. It hosts a preschool centre

Very nice small local park, with a cycle path and plenty of green space to sit. There is a playground too and a good balance between shade provided by trees and sunlight. No public toilets available and quiete narrow cycle/ pedestrian paths.

Bit of green space that is not private, only accessible to a select few, but open to all to stretch legs, exercise, breathe air, come alive, connect.. There is a natural area, access to water, open space to move, play areas for children.. I

Lovely wide open park with a play area. It's great for all ages of children due to there being baby and children's swings, climing frame with slide, roundabout, ride-ons and a zip line. There's so much to explore, logs to climb on, good

This place I would call the dogs walk place, one more well treated than the other, peacefull , for tranquility and serenety never too busy and has an amazing sunset and u are able to always find a bench, the river alongside it makes it

Great little green space for a short walk or a local picnic with a friends. Good place to play an outdoor games, with a family or your pets. Short walking distance (15 min) from Beckenham amenities , including a large Waitrose store.

Used to be better and more kept. Has unique wildlife here (parrots and other exotic birds). Great park to chill and great view of the stars at night. If you live in the surrounding areas, I'll recommend. Also has a children's park.

Small, but well laid out and very nicely maintained. This is an attractive park for a walk, with playing fields and a kid's play area. Benches are available, and it's great for summer picnics. One of the better parks in the area.

A lovely park with some very beautiful tall trees. The playground could use some updating but nonetheless it is still a great place to go, it is gated which is great to keep the kids in. Streams and logs around lovely for a walk.

This park is brilliant, great for dog walkers, not had any problems with aggressive dogs. I’m happy to let my dog off and play with the other dogs. The kids playground is fun for my 2 year old, it’s always kept very clean.

This park has a space for everything. A large field for playing sport or having a picnic, a small little nature trail and a field that's been left to go wild with trees tall grass and a path, ideal for dog walkers as well

  • Mark Cookman

Its a flat space based on a floodplain where the river Chaffinch merges with river Beck and becomes Pool river on its way to the Thames at Deptford but the water is severely contained in brutalist concrete.

  • Susan Christie

Good park for swing park cycle paths and lots of grassy areas for running around. Some little bridges to throw sticks over and see coming out other side. Safe for young children. X

Such a lovely place to walk with your dog or with out clean tidy with separate paths that lead to all wonderful walks tall conifer trees shadow a corner that look scary at night

Beautiful space, dog friendly with active friends of the park group. I attended the dog show which was so well run. New Beckenham station is a very short walk from the park.

Good park for local walks. Has kids play area and a stream through it. Would benefit from a path parallel to stream, a dedicated dogs only zone/dog free zone and toilets!

Great for walking, jogging, bringing the kids to play and run around or to walk the dogs .... very clean which is a bonus and hopefully we can keep it that way
