Initially I came on here and gave two stars with an honest review of my experience, however recent events have called for an adjustment. Imagine sharing your experience at a venue, even giving credit where due (the food and staff) and having the owner who clearly can’t take criticism put you on display and create an avenue for you to be berated and attacked online. We all work hard, I’ve done the business owner thing and I’ve done the hard yards in retail and hospitality, and I have NEVER treated customers as poorly as Mali did our group. I understand people get stressed and have bad days, but there is a certain level of hospitality to be upheld, and believe me when I say we don’t have high standards or expect more than average service but as a collective struggled to comprehend just how we were made to feel like such burdens for placing simple food and drink orders. The food was great once it came, no issue saying that as this never was a spiteful review, it was an honest one. The staff were friendly and the venue is nice. However our spirits tasted terrible and when you turn your back to pour and all we can taste is soft drink is it not fair to assume the shots aren’t being filled correctly? A genuine apology for our terrible service would’ve sufficed, simple acknowledgement even but to handle it the way you did is disgraceful and my thoughts are with the poor staff and customers who ever dare bring up an issue with you in person. Perhaps put the boyfriend hunt on pause and delegate some time for self reflection.

What an amazing vibe. Looks are definitely deceiving. Looking in may seem like a small quiet place but you walk in and straight away greeted with the best welcome you automatically feel like a regular. The outdoor area is absolutely stunning. If your looking for a venue to hold a birthday, baby shower or even your next get together I highly recommend checking out cedar & pine

After attending a baby shower here with small children it had lots of area for the kids to stretch there little legs.

After a recent a FB post about this place/owner I just wanted to place my honest (albeit overdue) review. We visited a couple of months ago and my gosh! We freaking loved it. My kinda playlist blasted and it was a grand old sing along. I felt like I was in my mates lounge room surrounded by friends. Even the sh*t songs (that i’d have done the same to) were cut off mid-song and changed (which I could not love hard enough)! It was awesome and just what the doctor ordered. Drinks and service were great also. If you’re ever in need of a good dance/sing with your pals, then this is the place for u. If I could give it 100 stars I would. Thanks for the hangover Mali. I’d do it again in a heartbeat

I hosted my daughters bridal shower at Cedar and Pine on a Saturday afternoon in the beer garden for about 32 guests. Mali was an absolute dream to work with. Communication was brilliant. It was a stress free experience and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered a couple of mixed platters and everyone commented on how delicious the food was. They also commented on the fact that Mali remember what drink they were drinking - the sign of a great bar tender! I was receiving comments for days afterwards complimenting me on the venue, food and service. If you are looking to host an event in the Wynnum area, look no further than Cedar and Pine, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Mali

Been waiting since 2019 to host an event here after attending an engagement party hosted here by Mali and the team. Finally in 2021 after covid and other things I was able to host my 22nd birthday here in the beer garden. All night long every single guest was telling me how attentive and impressed they were with Mali and her team and were kicking themselves that we have not all been here sooner! Mali was super accomodating with my food requests being the only vegetarian at the function she created a separate plate of food for me. Overall Great service, great food and great atmosphere. Will 100% be making the trip from the city to cedar & pine time and time again!

Went there for a function. The service was excellent, the food platters were nice. It had an open, friendly atmosphere. The outdoor area was an excellent place for the function. It also had live music at the time of visit. The only minor complaint that I had was that the alcohol free drinks selection was not that great.

Went there on a Saturday night. Four craft beers on tap and quite a lot of wine to choose from. Owner is very friendly and so are staff. Not a big place inside but plenty of room out the back. Unfortunately out the back has some areas without a roof so can't be used when it rains. A friendly place to go out in Wynnum.

Just a shout out to one of the best bars I know. I've celebrated so many life events here - a hens, 2 baby showers, 1 year birthday and a very loud 90th birthday. We keep coming back because it's the bar we need! The place that celebrates life, family, friends, love and each other. Besides all that, the owner stands for everything that I believe in- females ruling the world, a society that brings focus on supporting one another to achieve greatness and lastly small business are the backbone communities. Appreciate the amazing food, service and great music from local artists.

I absolutely love Cedar & Pine. I have been coming here since CP opened and have loved every experience! Mali, Stacey & the CP team are beautiful people who have the whole community in heart! Cedar & Pine has been voted Brisbane's best bar and for good reason! Mali & the staff work tirelessly to ensure a good time for everyone! I recommend Cedar & Pine for anyone visiting Wynnum. This beautiful little bar has been a saviour for us continually since we moved to Wynnum a few years ago. Packed with personality from the owner Mali, it really does feel like being at home having some drinks with mates. We've escaped here after long days at work or long days at home (renovating) and always been greeted with a smile, a mystery cocktail and a mystery craft ale which became our standard order. A great place to leave the worries of the world behind and just relax. Thanks Mali!

We had a small family gathering to catch up, and although food and service were excellent, we juggled seating arrangements across the main entrance, which at no fault to staff made it difficult to spend time with everyone who attended. There was a wedding reception in the outdoor area, which made it difficult to use the restrooms as you felt intrusive. Overall, great night and great food.

Okay first off being a Wynnum local I have to say this lovely little establishment has the best community vibe. Which comes down to the owner, she works hard, she’s friendly and you don’t find that often. I can highly recommend Cedar and Pine if you want a great night out, with yummy food, amazing drinks and such a fabulous atmosphere. Money absolutely doesn’t buy happiness but a pina colada most certainly does when it’s consumed at this little gem of a spot in Wynnum. I was pleasantly surprised to find this bar offers indoor & outdoor areas for gatherings. It is tastefully decorated, hosting live entertainment, a nice food menu & great ambience. The owner Mali & her staff will make you feel welcome. Plenty of street parking available, clean as a whistle, welcoming & very affordable.

My mum had her 40th birthday here on the weekend and we had the most lovely experience! We had about 60 people come and had the area out the back and it was absolutely beautiful and fit everyone great! The food was out of this world and the drinks were amazing! Had a few of the surprise cocktails and they all were fabulous! The staff were all so lovely and welcoming and will most definitely be coming back!! Would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Cedar And Pine is the place to be in Wynnum. The bar owner, Mali is so friendly and accommodating. The drinks are reasonably priced, the food menu is simple but extensive, and delicious. Mali is community minded and goes the extra mile providing live music, interactive events and caters for functions. It’s fun loving and the locals love it here! Why not come and join us here when you are next in the beautiful bayside!

We have been living in the area for the past six months but have not had the chance to visit cedar and pine! We only popped in for a drink and I’m so glad we did!! Mali is everything I had imagined and more!! I felt like I was home and I feel like I have spent many a night sitting and having a beer in her bar. Was there for a special occasion celebrating out the back garden area which was beautiful especially with the beautiful lighting n plants. Nice touch. Amazing atmosphere, delicious food platters, friendly helpful & fantastic staff who definitely know how to look after their customers. One of the most fantastic places I've been in a long time. Had a great night out here with a large group of friends. Mali was a fantastic host, very attentive and accommodating of our requests. Food served was very tasty and they catered for gluten free as well. The beer garden out the back is a great spot for lazy summer afternoon drinks, or twilight nibbles and cocktails. Music selection was great to. We'll definitely be back.

A great local bar, and a welcome addition to the area some years back. This bar is our personal favorite in the Wynnum/Manly area and is always great atmosphere any night of the week. With local singers performing frequently this is a must if you are looking for a good night out in the area.

Mali is an amazing owner, she makes it feel like you're visiting her house as her friend. Not to a bar with a stranger behind it. Her hard work and determination has paid off for cedar and pine and it has really brought Wynnum together and inspired so many surrounding small businesses. Pop in for a drink and a bite to eat you won't be disappointed.

This place is always buzzing when I stop by for my fav cider. Mali is always super friendly and efficient getting our orders together. Such a great atmosphere and vibe going on in this cute little spot I’m lucky to have it so close to my home. I will continue to bring friends and reccomend to everyone I know to support this local business !

Mali was absolutely fantastic when organising my baby shower. We loved the flexibility offered and it suited our budget perfectly. Even on a hot day it was nice and cool in the beer garden and the food was delicious. All of our dietary requirements were catered as well.

After having lunch at a Manly restaurant that had the worst service and rude staff it was so refreshing to walk into Cedar & Pine and get greeted and acknowledged from the time we walked in the door. Our daughter loved the huge bowl of ice cream as well. Thank you Mali for giving such amazing service.

We had our engagement party here on the weekend and it was better than we could have ever expected. Such a great place and staff are wonderful. So annoyed... ...that this spectacular bar is on the wrong side of the river. Efficient, sassy, brilliant, thorough, hilarious, and wonderfully satisfying to be in. The suburban bar that everyone wishes they had in their neighbourhood. And the food was pretty bloody amazing too. We will be back.

Possibly the best venue owner in the bayside area. Friendly and welcoming, loves the community and welcomes other competition venues with open arms. If only all venues had this attitude. My only complaint is I don't have enough time to visit more often. Great food and decent beers on tap...

Lively place to catch up with friends. Partially covered outdoor area was very cosy. It can get noisy which is part of the experience! Staff were polite and accommodating. Did not have anything to eat to comment on food. I would definitely return to catch up with friends.

Went for the 2 for 1 tapas night and had a wonderful time, good food and good prices. Food also came out fairly quickly considering how busy this place can get Can't give 5 stars as they didn't have a high chair for my daughter but I will definitely go back.

The owner has made every night i have had here an absolute pleasure. The craft beer selection is amazing and the vibe is unlike any other pub/bar in wynnum. I don't get much free time but when I do i love to spend it here!!!!!
