Honestly if the teachers are the ones that represent the school then from my experience with a staff member, David Speer, my impression is that maybe all teachers at Cesar Chavez are rude and disrespectful. This “teacher” and his wife harassed me in my workplace (filibertos) even going as far as to call me stupid and saying it was no wonder i was working at a fast food place because I have no future whatsoever. Mr.Speer also encouraged his wife and family to continue the harassment at work even recording after I have told them to stop. This teacher and his whole family harassed and humilated me which was uncalled for. I didn’t expect this kind of behavior from a teacher, whose job is to teach and encourage good behavior and education. They went as far as to discriminate me assuming I’m not from this country and to reason on why I lack intelligence, which is false because I am 22 year old US citizen and I’m about to graduate with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in forensics and psychology. I am very disappointed in how this teacher can walk around wearing Cesar Chavez merch., acting like he can belittle people that work hard for an education. And for this man to think it’s okay for his wife to threaten me is just too much. I hope that this can be resolved, I will be contacting PUHSD to let them know about this incident. It’s no surprise many students feel discouraged when it comes to school. It disappointments me to know that this man couldn’t act diligently knowing I could’ve been one of his students, not only that but an actual CCHS student witnessed what happened.

This school is terrible. I've been calling since TWO weeks ago about my damn transcripts to start college this semester and my call either gets forwarded or goes to voice mail this is straight bullshit. You guys need to do your damn job and stop taking vacations when YOU KNOW THIS MONTH IS MOST IMPORTANT! !!!! UGH

Cesar Chavez has a reputation as a terrible school, but that is simply not so. So long as you don’t rely on the office to get you through high school, it is an excellent place, and, contrary to popular belief, a safe place to spend your four years.

i went here all 4 years and although I loved the school and all it has to offer including Elevate Phoenix, I found myself getting in a lot of trouble, great school... strict security (even Kevin lol) ... just has a bad crowd of kids to be around

This is the worst school ever! There is always fights and kids get caught with guns.

School sucks, cafetería food is nasty... and bathrooms are always dirty ....

My cousin went to this school in 2006 and she screwed up bad
