Putting up a property for rent is a daunting process, with many formalities to complete, however, I was lucky enough to be given Monty as my Lettings contact, he made the entire process, much more simplified, very easy and manageable, he even spent time with me in person, helping me fill out some forms and giving tips and guidance and the correct answers. He has been my go-to person, any questions or queries or support I have needed or required, Monty has always provided, even after the initial stage, Monty hasn’t taken the usual sales person approach - once the business is done, leave them with other teams to deal with, he has actively helped with a few questions, even well after his role was finished. Any time I request support, or have any questions, Monty is always available, or calls me back, if he is unable to speak. He has given great advice, honest advice and the best advice a landlord would want. Monty is proactive and actively seeking the best for me. I chose Chancellors Estate Agency in High Barnet to Let my flat based on my initial communication with Monty Tang, Letting Manager. From our very first conversation, Monty listened, answered all my questions, provided me with jargon-free, transparent and honest information and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Throughout the process, even though I was passed through to different staff members at different stages of the Let, Monty was always available and encouraged me to copy him in to emails or contact him if anything was unclear. Monty made me feel confident that he would be able to successfully advertise and find a great tenant and whilst the tenancy has only just begun, it seems to have gone without a hitch so far. I have to say, I keep waiting for the 'catch' or for something to go wrong and it really hasn't! Absolutely horrendous. If you're ok with breach of data protection and disclosure of your personal finances to your ex-husband, hey, go with Chancellors. They are SO inept, unbelievably arrogant, inordinately incompetent and even with numerous court demands, they refused to engage. At your peril. In response to the reply below... Have you mislaid all my solicitors' correspondence, (sent to the Directors and branch) by email and post? I don't have anything more to add that has not already been written to you, by my solicitors, regarding the unbelievable breach of data protection by your colleagues, and the arrogance of you, the said Directors, who refused to respond or engage in negotiations. Your lack of customer care supersedes any service I have ever had in the UK - appalling given you are in London and cannot plead ignorance. Data protection should be paramount in any business - clearly not Chancellors.

Our house was on the market for a while with another agency when a friend advised us to call Geoff at Chancellors Barnet instead - best decision ever as Geoff was great from start to finish! From our very first phone call, Geoff was hands-on, professional, and friendly. With his knowledge and experience, he was able to match the right buyers for our house and, as a positive outcome, we sold soon later! Geoff was there all the way, keeping us posted with feedbacks and giving us tips and advice; all our questions were answered clearly. He also kept in touch during the conveyancing process (when things felt under the main Chancellors office) to make sure that all was progressing well and that we didn’t have any issue So, a BIG THANK YOU to Geoff for all his (much appreciated) work, help and efforts to make our sale a successful one!

We decided to sale quickly our Property a 8 years old 5 bedrooms house When the agent (Geoff) came at home his estimation was £850 000 for a quick sale, we trusted him after 6 months and 30 visits (not really selected people, and some of them the agent did not come, we did the visits), the agent said the problem is the price and asked to lower the price We agreed at £800 000, but no sale again after a couple of months he told us it is still too high and asked for £750 000. I spoke with him in his branch and he told me at £ 500 000 I sale it (like a joke) We changed the agent, and after 1 month and 3 visits, the new agent sold the property I have the feeing Geoff was not motivated at all to sale the property It was a waste of time and money for us and a very bad experience for us Not professional, not serious, honest.....??

I saw a property with Sirus Kayedi. My wife especially asked me to follow up with him because of the prompt response and professional attitude. When I met him I was also particularly impressed. I was a bit late for the appointment but he was very courteous. A property agent primarily represents the landlord. However, a good property agent would also take time to understand and help potential tenant's concerns instead of doing a short job of it. Sirus is a good property agent in my opinion. I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE THEM ONE STAR. Literally the WORST estate agents I have ever worked with. We put an offer in on a house with them, LITERALLY no communication from them, we had to chase constantly and then we're told 2 weeks later the house had accepted another offer which was EXACTLY the same that we offered, even though we were chain free because it came in first. 2 WEEKS LATER!?! No one communicated our offer to the house owners. WILL NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN.
