Absolutely disgraceful service at the clinic. Multiple occasions where I have been speechless of the lack of duty of care to clients and disappointing customer service. I booked in to see Ruwani Arambawela whom already sees other members of my immediate family, only to be left an abrupt voicemail that they've cancelled my appointment last minute, I needed antibiotics for a UTI. They did not offer me the next available appointment nor offer any apologies for the lack of care or inconveniences. I have been attending this clinic for over 3 years and every single time the receptionists are unfriendly and unapproachable. Every time I've had an appointment I've had to wait over 30-60 minutes for a scheduled appointment. I was once told by the receptionists that Jenny Harindran was running over 75 minutes late due to car troubles, once I finally got into the appointment I asked Jenny about this to only be met with the reply "ha ha, no car troubles, I slept in." I've also had scar tissue removed from my chest area from Bruce Fountain, where I was offered no aftercare advice, my stitches were removed to early and caused even worse scaring. I went back to ask Bruce Fountain about the scaring and he suggested to put cortisol in the wound, causing the wound to erupt and I ended up with an EVEN BIGGER crater in my chest area. This clinic should be reviewed and the medical staff there be audited. The only ever good experience I've had here are with the nurses & Dr. Nguyen. Absolutely APAULLED at this clinic and their services. I would rate 0 stars if that were possible!

She then told me next appointment wasn’t available till next week and that he would just have to wait till then to get his medication. How is that acceptable how do you think that is ok! I then stressed how important it was she started to get angry and said there is nothing she could do then hung up. I called again gobsmacked thinking asif she just hung up on me when I’m just trying to get some advice on what other option I could have like maybe see another doctor. But no! I got her name and told her I will be making a compliant she got mad and hung up again. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and heartless you don’t deserve to be in a medical centre with that kind of attitude

This morning i witnessed a disturbing incident. The manager Vicki who is in a customer service role was incredibly rude towards an older ethinic lady. The lady was only trying to get an appointment and some information. The lady spoke good english and was told by Vicki that theres a language barrier and that she needs to leave. And i was refused service for standing up to Vicki and letting her know of her unprofessionalism and lack of empathy Vicki had towards the older woman. Vicki also made comments saying “she is the manager and she does what she want”. . All the other workers stood by and watched while vicki displayed poor customer service and basic human ethics. I’m unsure as to how shes even a manager as she does not pose any quality of a manager. I have never witnessed a manager acting of this sort towards an elder member of the community and I seriously would not recommend anyone going to this clinic Management please do something about this issue as your reviews show this is not the first time your employer Vicki has displayed qualities of a low life human being.

Very rude and unprofessional receptionist. I guess despite the reviews we have no choice to be there because they were the accredited clinic under my mother’s overseas insurance. True enough, the receptionist is very rude. Just because they couldn’t find our bookings that doesnt mean that we didn’t have an appointment. Having that said, that doesn’t give them the right and license to speak to us that way. We came to the clinic with an intention to be treated medically and to be treated as a human being regardless of the race. They are very unprofessional in terms of dealing people,given that they work as a receptionist. When your job requires you to be upfront to people you must possess patience and understanding because people who comes to your clinic must be in pain or seeking a medical attention or even undergoing a difficult situation. It doesnt cost you extra to be kind and nice. It makes someone who might be undergoing tough times less sad or even felt much better.

I used to come here for a certain doctor but wait times kept stretching out beyond an hour and peaked at two and a half hours at which point I got up and left. Receptionist gives no indication of actual time you will be seen. Today my local clinic was fully booked and I'm back here waiting. It is now one hour beyond the scheduled time. When I asked the receptionist,, I was told that she knew there would be a long wait but that I didn't ask. I told her i arrived 10mins early for my appointment. I am expecting to be seen within reasonable time of my booked appointment. It is up to receptionist to advise at the time of booking. Any fool can just pull the file out of the drawer and tell you to wait. When will these places get their act into gear? This is not service. Maybe it is in third world countries. In Australia It is neglect. I absolutely hate this place!!!!

I've been with Chandler Road Medical Clinic now for over 10 years and my experience there has been totally amazing! Dr Jacques Dezoete being my first GP here and from the word go he certainly helped me from the ground up and onwards. When I found out about his retirement, I literally cried in his office finding out he would be leaving Chandler Road. Luckily I transitioned to another lovely doctor Dr Jenny Harindran and ever since to this day her medical support has been a phenomenon! As for the waiting times when the doctors are busy, I actually don't mind as I know they are incredibly thorough with helping their patients needs, very compassionate and hard working. As for the front desk staff, they will be lovely with you as long as you be warm welcoming to them they will be delighted to support you. Much love from your long term patient, Scott Funcich.

Couldn't believe the rude response I received at my appointment. The doctor I saw yawned the whole time I was in his room he proceeded to tell me how long a day he had and how tired he was and that I needed to organise my appointments so I saw the same doctor as he wasn't seeing new patients. I booked this appointment online and it allowed me to book this appointment so not sure how I would be expected to know not to book with him. I recently came to this clinic as my doctor passed away. This has been greatly upsetting,my previous doctor knew my history and that I had been traumatised by the loss of my son,I trusted and miss my doctor as he was a gentle caring man, unfortunately the doctor I saw shared none of these qualities. I had to find another clinic because I was so upset at his treatment.

Bad customer service. They entered my medicare card number wrong and said I am going to pay as private patient as my medicare is not valid. I confirmed I am using my medicare every where and it works fine you need to fix from your end. The receptionist instead of trying to fix the issue, she gave me 2 options to allow me to attend my appointment that I needed and I can’t reschedule it. My options are to pay unnecessarily as a private patient or call Medicare with waiting time around an hour to fix the issue. Finally the issue was they wrote my number wrong in their system and they didn’t even apologise for their mistake . Never going back again.

My local Clinic between 2014 & 2017 when I lived out that way. Great Clinic, Professional Doctors & Receptionists including the likes of Zahra, Amirhadi, Jenny and the entire team. Lovely, tolerable, understanding people & beautiful culture. I highly recommend this Clinic and team. They know what they are doing. They were finishing at 12 midnight when I left South East. Like all of us, we all have our moments. I salute and graciously commend all of you for the good work. Wherever I am, I always miss the warm reception. And to all of you reading, always remember, I always went there in a respectful manner.

Dear Vicki, You probably don't have any respect for elders including your own parents but for your sake I hope you don't have to experience the embarrassment and humiliation you make ethnic elders feel at this clinic as a "manager" when you're old. I hope the clinic you go to has a caring, friendly and respectful manager who does not treat people like garbage. For the sake of this clinic and other elderly ethnic clients I hope the actual management sees this and provide you with some much needed training or educate you on being a respectful and kind human being.

Oh goodness, the receptionists are really unfair and rude. I made appointment two months earlier to be first to be seen by doctor because I have back issue and can't sit for long. But when I went to my appointment, the receptionist moved my turn by herself. I waited for so long and saw people went to see doctor. I then ask the receptionist and she said sorry the doctor is behind. Then I asked the doctor and she said that I'm not in the list at all and receptionist removed me. I can't believe their behaviour. It's really unaccessible.

Booked an appointment online via EasyVisit, received a confirmation email, showed up for my appointment, told it was never booked, offered zero help from the very uncaring receptionists (one of which was wearing her face mask on her chin), I explained I would run out of medication, care factor zero, utterly unhelpful. *Edit* my appointment was cancelled by a receptionist for zero reason. Spoke to the practice manager who was lovely and incredibly apologetic. She said she would be investigating the incident further.

Actual doctors aren’t too bad but the receptionist/ management is so dismissive and they make you wait for ages. You can’t even check with them about the status of the wait or they will talk to you like you’re the biggest eyesore. I don’t understand the point of having an appointment booking system when its simply completely disregarded? At bare minimum have the decency and respect to communicate with the patients. Horrible clinic absolutely won’t recommend

I called them to book an immunisation booster and be for I could ask if they do the particular one I needed they interrupted me and asked if I was new to their practise, when I advised yes they said they were not taking anyone new and hung up on me. I understand if a place is full and is unable to take new people but they did not need to interrupt me and then just hang up. Incredibly rude.

I have been a patient of several drs at Chandler Rd for many years - dating back to when it was on Heatheron Rd. Yes it can get busy especially post and mid Covid, and let's face it, waiting rooms are always a hotbed of IMPATIENCE - but by and large I have found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Vicky the manager in particular was kind during the booster shot process.

Rude receptionist. First , hang up on me . Second time I tried , put me hold for 4 minutes which I totally Understand . She asked me with rude voice saying "what can I do for you?" . The way the customer service was pretty bad . Do I have beg to come and see your doctors ? . "No , thanks . I rather go to different clinic".

It's good for an almost one stop medical clinic with a pharmacy attached and there used be x- ray, pathology and, from memory - it's been there many years now, I think there was or is a psychologist. It's a regular medical clinic. I only go to the chemist there, I'm not so sure about the rest anymore.

The waiting time is horrible. I’ve been there few times and ended up waiting for at least 1 hour for my appointment. Ive spoken to receptionist and was advised it is not their problem. I think they need to better manage their appointment books and waiting time and inform patient if GP running late.

I've used Chandler Road Medical Clinic for many years now. Their doctors are very good and actually care about patients, so we aren't just meal tickets to them. They helped me get on top of a few problems id been experiencing and their diabetes educator is very good. Can't recommend them enough.

This busy clinic has fantastic reception staff and nurses who work hard between the doctors and the patients. I only know a few of the doctors at the clinic and they are excellent. I have always been seen on time and I can't say this for any other medical center that I have been to.

I have been attending this clinic for roughly 3 years and I am so happy I found them. Doctor Ruwani is so attentive and caring. The nurses handle my children so perfectly and are always so caring. Im scared of needles and even the women in pathology make me feel so at ease.

Just an awful experience every time. The clinic never fails to keep you waiting min. one hour from your appointment time. Booked for 6pm, be seen at 7.15pm ad an example. When following up with reception, response is unfortunately it's the way it is. Take a seat! Wtf

Waited one hour and ten minutes and didn't end up seeing a doctor. Staff did not advise of any long wait times, ended up just going and asked them to cancel the appointment. No one bothered to ask after my wellbeing or advise how much longer it might have been.

Convenient easy to park and get to by either bus, train, walk or uber. Yarram an station is the closest station to medical centre. 5 Min walk. There is a convenient chemist to buy any extra or emergency medication. Friendly service too. ❤️ …
