Excellent authentic fruit market pricing. I went here to get a lemon to get rid of a bad smell on my table tennis racket, which there is a range in the sizing of lemons. A lot of the fruit had bad bruises, so you should be careful with what fruit to buy. There is a 50c surcharge for any purchase under $10 but since I made a purchase for 20c, I didn't get the surcharge because the checkout lady found it pointless, so I got my lemon without paying surcharge, which is good for if you only want one piece of fruit. Just make sure not to get the fruit from the outside part of the shop, because people have complained that the outside fruit are no good despite being way cheaper. Last month according to another reviewer's photo, the inside lemons (which are the better lemons) were $3.99/kg, whereas the outside ones were half the price. Today, the inside lemons were $1.99/kg which is cheaper than expected. I kinda wish there was a Facebook page into the pricing of the fruit but this place involves lots of treasure hunting for market pricing fruit that isn't as fresh as supermarket fruit, yet is a good cost of living reliever. I came here because it's convenient as this place is right next door to Cash Converters Werribee. Overall, there are some problems with this store but still remains a good place to shop for its pricing. Don't forget that there is a deli in this place.

Fruit and vegetables at reasonable prices in the Werribee central form inside the shop 2nd option is to buy cheap and rotten produce outside the shop, just 50 meters walk to Werribee station, parking might be a problem but you can park at Woolworth. Customer service is bit rude by the owner looks middle eastern. On counter the lady was reasonable.

Two days ago, I was this Fruit shop in Station Place, Werribee Vic., at the cashiers and noticed a smallish box on their counter. I looked closer and saw a picture of a mosque and the words ~ Donations for Islamic Centre ~ raised myeyebrows, cringed within, paid for my honey and left - I shall never return and now will tell all my friends !

The old Charlies had better produce quality but its changed hands now. Red capsicums sold indoors for 8.99 kg had indents and very poor quality. The outside capsicums for 1.99 only good to be dumped. Everytime I picked one up it was sticky with holes and squished under my touch. My friend found apples that she bought. Not returning

I bought a butternut pumpkin from this establishment. I realised when I got home that I had forgotten to put it in my trolley. I went back an hour later and there was my pumpkin, sitting behind the counter, marked 'Paid' and waiting for me to collect. No argument, just a big smile. Great compassionate and honest service. Thank you

Awesome place with fabulous staff and excellent quality fruit and veggies. I'm glad people like Christine Scott will choose to stay away! More excellent fruit and veggies for those people who don't share her racist views. I've been shopping here for 11 years and I couldn't recommend Charlie's highly enough.

People are welcoming and helpful, BUT the vegetable and fruit produce are very low quality, rotten and spoiled (i wouldn't say all of it, but some while looking at such produce you don't really feel like getting other good stuff as well). it will be great if the shop also looks hygiene and well maintained.

Relatively cheap produce - sometimes not always the freshest product though. The staff are easy to talk to - but sometimes they are too busy engaging in conversation so it's a bit hard to approach. If you're budget conscious, would recommend but if you're looking for service, maybe try another store.

Charlie's Fruit Market is an exceptional fruit business. I have been there numerous times and the staff are always helpful and personable. I always find the fruit to be fresh and ripe as well as lovely flowers. I always buy flowers for my wife here at Charlies.

On 18/12/18 We sow a very rud staff treating a customer very rud Screaming, when we sow that ,we turn off and left the shop , we did Not buy any thing. It upseted us...... The worsted staff was a big women. Never again buy anything there.

Changing my rating from 5 star to 3. Sorry but recently many things have changed. Quality of product have declined, prices are more compared to other fruit and veg stores around. Unfortunately the changes are not that good.

The great sevice does not make up for the very poor quality of fruit and vegetables, rotting fruit and vegetables show a lack of turn over and a lack of respect by the owners for their customers

Amazing service, top quality products and an incredibly clean shop. Christine Scott, good riddance , you will not be missed, thrilled to not be shopping alongside someone like you.

So sad to see how the quality of the produce has deteriorated with the change of ownership. We were spending nearly $100 a week here but not any more.
