Delicious, flavorful decaf iced espresso! It is not an easy feat as I have often regretted ordering anything decaf because of a weird, off aftertaste. This had no strange taste and was thoroughly enjoyable. I had a gluten-free brownie, which was also very tasty and satisfying. All the baked goods looked enticing! I had everything "to-go" and did not stay in the café. It was pleasant enough -- but for me, it could have been a bit "warmer" in décor and ambience ... and honestly, nothing beats Central Park on a sunny, warm day. Just my personal aesthetic preference. Others might feel differently about it. It definitely is far superior to some "chain" coffee places (on all criteria) -- I don't have to name them! It seems like a great place to stay a bit and catch up on emails, texts, etc., or to have a coffee & chat with a friend. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend Charlotte Café. I am glad they have joined the neighborhood!

Not a coffee drinker, but just stopped by so I could use their Wi-Fi while I was traveling. The baristas were very nice and I ordered the cheapest thing there. I ended up getting busy in my work, and an hour passed causing the ice in my drink to ruin it by making it watery. The barista, noticing this, offered to make my drink again for free, which I thought was a very kind gesture. Needless to say, the baristas are fantastic, but the coffee shop itself has a great ambience, and really helps you feel focused/social. Definitely check this place out !

Amazing and quick service! My husband and I ordered a double iced americano and a double hot cappuccino. Both were tasteful. We also ordered a couple small cookies each, and a caprese sandwich. The server warmed the sandwich, and the bread was perfectly toasted. I would highly recommend this Italian cafe. Great corner location with inside and outside seating. The cafe offers baked goods, ready to go salads and sandwiches and a variety of coffee beverages. The bathroom was clean and stocked.

Charlotte Cafe (formerly Filicor (?)) a lovely neighborhood spot with a good selection of food and drink. It's a great alternative to that other coffee place (which shall remain nameless) with it's uniform, corporate selection of items. Edit: You can ignore my post below...informed that my two favorite baristas don't work here anymore due to negligence by the owner and manager. Popped in here for a cappuccino with oat milk near their closing and was pleasantly surprised by how rich the espresso in it tasted! The café was clean, bright, and empty: just how I like it. The barista, Emma, was bright, quick, and gave me a recommendation for sweetener. She took my temperature so I could come inside and quickly rearrange my bags before heading out (I'm not a big indoor dining fan). I would definitely come back again; their pastries look so yummy!

Very nice establishment. Geared toward spending some time, even has a table with outlets to charge devices. But there are prominent signs advising that 90 minutes is expected maximum time unless another purchase is made. Staff was friendly and the service was prompt. Food choices are limited but good for snacking. Plenty of pastry options available. One unusual feature is that there is a bin positioned toward customers for bussing your table yourself. I rather like this. It makes the experience more homey.

I had a pot of Earl Grey tea with an almond croissant and really enjoyed it. The people working there were very friendly and eager to help. This was a nice place to stop for an afternoon treat. A variety of seating areas both inside and out: cafe tables outside on the sidewalk while inside, long communal tables, two-person tables, a bench of seating, as well as a bar of stools near the window. The Little Coffee Shop in the corner. Went in for an Iced Espresso Blend once and have been hooked since. I was able to sit at their outside seating area on a beautiful day and enjoyed my meal. This is a really great cafe on the Upper West Side. The coffee is good and they have a lot of space to work or hang out. They have free wifi which is very convenient and indoor and outdoor seating available. I liked that their large cup of coffees provided a refill and I also really enjoyed the music that they played. We were looking for a place to take breakfast and we found this beautiful and amazing coffee shop. The neighborhood is in 96st West in Manhattan.The coffee is amazing and the space quiet intimate. Pros: Location right off 96street from the subway a couple of blocks away from central park. Excellent wifi Good coffee and pastries Cons: Limited space The bathroom can be better off. Parking issues Overall the coffee shop is a really good place if you ever find yourself in 96 Street NYC I absolutely recommend.

I really enjoy this coffee spot; the staff are very welcoming and the coffee excellent (especially as they offer actual mugs :) Considering the ambience and wonderful service I find the countless signs in all caps, with black and red lettering, distracting and annoying. Surely a few small signs that fit the decor would get the point across. As it is, I feel that I’m being berated as I enjoy my morning coffee!

Honestly? The coffee and service here is fine and adequate. However, the cafe clearly doesn’t want people hanging out here to work or be productive. Why? (Not including the time limits) Because their wifi blocks essential websites and tools you need. For example, I couldn’t connect to GitHub, iCloud storage, even my school’s canvas page, I’m sure there’s a lot more. If you come to work expect to connect to your phone’s hotspot.

Nice atmosphere, great location, handy to the subway, and it's nice to patronize not-a-big-chain. The fig bar is my favorite, worth an outing by itself. Coffee is custom-prepared, and strong. Food is good -- menu is limited, but space is at a premium.

Best place to study in the upper west side. There is plenty of table space and the cappuccinos are always pretty. It is a little more expensive than the other coffee shops in the area but definitely worth it for the extensive "single" seating options and quick wifi!
