This is an ancient monument of India. I think this is a watch tower. At present the condition is not in order. The place should be protected and repairs properly. During my visit I have seen so many negligence. To climbing up, use of upstairs is very much dangerous. The stones of staircases are not usable(sleepery), these may cause fatal situation. Authority of A.S.I. are requested to take the necessary steps to prevent undesirable situation. I am requesting to weak and old age visitors not to use the staircase.

Nice and historic place in Hyderabad. A must visit to experience the old city, its atmosphere and the surrounding streets for shopping clothes and bangles. There are some nearby tourist spots like Mecca masjid and Salarjung museum. A best place to enjoy and savor Irani chai and some authentic snacks as well. Good spot for photo shoots especially in the mornings when there is no crowd. Combine it with pigeons in the nearby Mecca masjid, a location well selected.

One of the beautiful place to visit , it's old monument constructed in 1591 and it's well maintained throughout the year. A beautiful history about charminar ,situated near Musi river , nearby laad bazaar to visit . The name is charminar based on pillar . People visiting Hyderabad must visit this place for sure .

An ancient monument in the old city of hyderabad. You can go up and get a view of old city. Also u can try some shopping. Famous for pearls and bangles. But beware of cheating people will sell fake pearl as original. And also you can try some traditional hyderabad briyani around here.

After rains it looks even beautiful and I enjoyed walking though it was Drizzling,day time during sunshine or when it's raining or in the nights with lights or without it's a majestic piece of civil Engineering and a jewel whic make every Hyderabadi proud

Near Charminar there is a big market. Nice place for road side shopping specially for Bangles. If u reach before 5 u can go on first floor of the Minar. Not after 5:30. If u love kababs go shadab hotel. Famous for kababs and very near to Charminar.

Must visit place in hyderabad. It's old hyderabad. Most of the time heavy traffic. Plan accordingly. 25 rs ticket to enter and go up.
