This is a story of how I was in THREE Chase banks this week, and just could not walk out with an account, and now never will. I just transferred here from Australia with Dell Technologies and went to two separate locations on Tuesday to try and open account. At both I was told to make an appointment (there were also very obviously staff just sitting around with nothing to do). I finally found an available booking at this Chase for the next day. With a passport, green card, SSN and 13 month apartment lease in hand, I rock up, ready to finally get a checking account to start getting paid into. They couldn't do it! Anyway, there is a silver lining to this story. I recommend trying literally ANY other bank. This morning, from the comfort of my couch, whilst watching the Olympics, I opened an account with Capital One - In 5 minutes, with a mere PICTURE of my passport, sent via TEXT! With a $150 bonus for joining. REJOICE. This is how we bank in Australia. Institutions incentivizing customers to bank money with them. We are the bread an butter after all!
So I just got back from trying to get a check endorsed that required my nearly 90 year old grandmother to be present and receiced the poorest customer service from what I understand is the banker that is there only a few days a week. I realize we just stopped in without a scheduled appt. but he gave me the impression he didn't want to help us because he kept stating to "try another branch". We offered to wait in excess of even an hour because my grandmother is elderly and requires a walker and it isn't a simple task to get her anywhere. The gentlemen still persisted that we should try another branch. Awful customer service, especially when we tried to wait. I'd give the branch 0 stars if I could because there should always be extra consideration for the elderly customers and the fact that she has had a mortgage loan with Chase for as long as we can remember, just shows the quality of service this "banker" provides. Ridiculous.
Had an issue with my card being frozen after purchasing crypto. Called the 800 number and spoke to a lady who didn't speak English and had absolutely no idea what was going on, and told me I had to go I to a branch and bring 2 forms of government issued id. I was a little irritated by this point, however upon getting to chase I was promptly greatest by, Edwin? I can't remember but I think that's it, and he was actually empathetic and showed that he was on my side and wanted to help me. We went sat down, he made a call and spoke with someone else and made sure that they cleared everything up right away, I was out in less then 10 minutes. I haven't dealt with a banker that isn't completely full of lies and scams in a while, and it was refreshing. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this so quickly.

Can’t stand this branch! I’ve had several issues at this branch. Today I deposited a Chase check and my funds were not available immediately. This is a check written from their bank into my chase account! Both can be verified. I’ve had my business account here since 2009, chase checks are ALWAYS available immediately. I’m closing my two business accounts and personal account when their lobby opens back up and take my business to another bank.
Chase is great! I was in the negative a few hundred so I rushed to deposit the money before 12. I got there at about 11:50 and checked my balance and deposited what was needed. The next morning I check my balance and it was negative another 100 from NSF fees. I talked to a rep on the phone and they heard me out and listened to what had happened and reversed all 3 NSF fees! Chase has earned my business. Recommended!
I'm done with their over draft fees. There over draft protection clearly doesn't work. I've messaged them countless times about this with no response. I'll be over drafting my card by a lot this time to receive the money I lost but my deposits will be going somewhere else. There wouldn't be any over draft fees if you didn't charge the accounts 3 days later.
The walk up ATM stopped working in the middle of my transaction and lift my account open I finally got it to close went through the drive-thru same thing happened and shut all the drive-thru ATMs down it was ridiculous. Other customers were waiting in line in their cars in a big line waiting for them to close their accounts crazy exclamation
I scheduled an appointment with Melissa Navarro at 9 am and she called me at 8:57 am that morning telling me there was a “branch emergency” and they had to reschedule everything while I was in the middle of my Lyft ride there. Very unprofessional. Wasted $20, wasted time, and wasted sleeping in on my day off. Terrible experience.
Worst place ever. Customer service sucks. The women in there pretend to help but are useless. When told there customer service sucks they walk away and make you wait. Hated all the time since I opened my account. You feed of us customers and we deserve to have outstanding customer service.
No call answers and when i deposit checks they leave them pending for almost a week and if somethong is wrong woth a deposit check they dont call you untill u notice that it hast been deposited.... Super bad customer service... Changing to a new branch

Rude customer service especially by the teller Roxanna. Been a Chase customer for many many years and this was the first for awful customer service. I witness Roxanna , yell at a customer refusing to assist her in making a deposit transaction !!!!!

The level of unprofessionalism is appalling. A phone call to open a new account was scheduled at 10:30am and Michelle never called. A follow up would be greatly appreciated.
They never answer the phone when people just need to ask something very simple. Like if there are available to set up an account, but no they never answered the phone for me
Customer service is great especially from Michelle! She did an awesome job in helping my husband open an account and all questions were answered (:
Teller Neetsa has a terrible attitude. She doesn't want to do her basic job functions. Tried refusing to make change until the manager took over.
It's okay at least they treated me okay even though I wasn't a customer there can't say too much except that it wasn't really a bad place.
