So Me and My partner stayed a night here. Checked in around 5pm or so. So we ordered Dinner from downstairs. Upon Openning my Meal, A Fruit Fly hitchhiked its way Up to Our Room from the Kitchen. (will upload Video Of It Too, will Need to Find in My Google Photos.) I didnt Eat the Meal after that. So the Next Morning when packing up to check-out. My Partner went to unplug his cell phone charger from the Wall And was Shocked! And The Charger Prongs Were Melted into the Outlet, there was Black Soot on the Outlet and my partners fingers were black where he got shocked. We Took photos of the Charger and his fingers and reported it to the front desk. The Manager was in disbelief, so went up to the Room with my Partner to investigate along with a Maintenance Man. They Documented the Incident, and then called the Head Office. And the guy on the Phone Spoke with My Partner, Apologized for the Mishap, and offered us a FreeNights stay on Our Next Visit and Free Complimentry Breakfast. They wrote down my Partners name and made a note of it. We checked out and went on our way. Our Next visit to the Hotel was About 2months later, Just in town doing some shopping and we Figured might as well use that Free Nights stay. We go to check in and The Front Desk Clerks is Some Big Old Guy who was Clearly Not Happy with His Job! And Made it Priority that He stay Seated during our Entire Conversation. We gave him my Partners Name and told him there was a note of it, Regarding a FreeNights Stay. But he Could Not find this Note or My Bfs Name Anywhere in there Books, LogBooks, Ect.. he Proceeds to Call Someone And The Guy he called Confirms my Partners Name, and Recalls the Incident. But Get This: He says No They Offered us a Discounted Rate on a One Night Stay, and Complimentary Breakfast. We were, (Pun-Intended) Shocked for the Second Time!! We tried to state That that Was Not the Original Offer.. BUT they were Not Having It. And It was the Night Clerk we were dealing with, So Felt it wasn't going to Get Anywhere... So we just Paid the Discounted Rate so we could just Get Some Rest. And The Next Morning we come down to Find the Free Breakfast, was Just Toast or Bagel we have to Toast ourselves, and Cereal.+Juice. That was our Free Breakfast!! I thought Wow, What a Joke! This was our last time staying in a Hotel. Airbnbs is The Way to Go...(I will Look through my Google Photos and Post the Pics of the Outlet and Prongs Burnt into the wall)

Staff Were Obnoxious, Rude, and Not True to their Word. And Made us Feel Like we Made The Story Up about my Partner Getting an Electrical Shock from the Outlet. Very Unpleasant Feeling to Put on Your Guests. When we even had proof, and left the Prongs in the Outlet for Them to Find and Remove themselves.

Great service, very clean rooms. Fast check in and check out. Pet friendly. Close to regular Costco and Costco business center. Ample parking. Only issues were on the second floor ice machine tumbler was broken so you can hear it going round and round. Had to go to 3rd floor for ice. No room service, that was disappointing cause we brought a dog and wanted to order room service so we did not have to leave her. I had to pick it, which was fine but the take out containers were weak and absorbed all the liquid from the hot food and the food was spilling. The food ended up being dry cause all the liquid soaked into the containers. Should bring back room service. For suites they should consider a small table with chairs. No tables to eat on, other then on the floor lol. With a puppy that was a fun time. Ha ha! I would for sure stay there again though. The front desk girls were

My truck was broken into at this location. One of the windows was smashed. Manager of this location was very little help. Didn’t bother checking the cameras until I asked to see the footage. I cleaned up the glass in my truck but there was glass all over the parking spot. It was still there hours later. This hotel charges a ‘destination marking fee’ of $3.27 and a ‘Alberta tourism levy’ fee of $4.49 PER NIGHT. I will never stay here again and will never recommend it to anyone. Avoid at all costs. Edit: This is response to the response from the owner. You did not have camera footage of the incident. You had a camera in plain sight of my truck(which is why I parked in that spot) yet the manager couldn't find it's view in the system. Almost as if it wasn't working. How do I know this? I VIEWED THE FOOTAGE WITH THE MANAGER! There were not any valuables in my truck. THEY STOLE MY SONS DIAPER BAG.

Overall, it was a good hotel, and it was pretty clean. It also is quite economical in terms of price, we paid 111 for every night. Staff very polite and friendly, though we were there in Christmas week, so they were shorthanded, only one person at the reception at any time. I only had one issue with the place. The nights were a little noisy for me. There is a train track near the hotel and sometimes at night I heard the train whistle that woke me up. Also there are cars going around in the area constantly even at 3 am. However, my partner had no issue with any noise, so maybe I'm a bit light sleeper. But the place is close to west ed mall that saves you from extra driving in edmonton.

This hotel is modern and beautiful. The staff are the stars of the show though. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful even when things did not go as planned. Our room had to be changed because of a miscommunication and we ended up with a room that was missing furniture and somewhat under construction but even at that, it was still very beautiful and spacious with a separate bedroom. There are very few amenities nearby though. You will definitely need a vehicle to go get anything you want or need outside of what the hotel offers. The hotel was also remarkably quiet considering there is a rail line nearby and the hotel sits on the side of the highway. We never heard either of them and we enjoy our window open.

Are you kidding me how is this place so affordable yet I feel like I stayed in luxury!??? The pillows are so good, so much space inside, they even gave me a late checkout of 1pm free of charge. I just wish they had a heavy blanket but other than that this place is so good and very clean!! Had such a good sleep. And the channels are good. I watched free movies on one of the channels. A fridge with dishes also. Not too far from the gas station and Arby’s! Oh I took the last M&Ms in the snack machine on the 2nd floor just FYI Also very helpful and friendly staff!!

I found this place to be super convenient to get to even if you are pulling a cargo trailer behind your pickup(in which I was). Tons of parking out front of this hotel to accommodate cars, pickups, pickups with trailers vans and moving size vans. The rooms are really great. The prices are reasonable and not crazy like some others. Very clean and the restaurant in the lobby tops off your stay with a hot breakfast. I also believe you get breakfast vouches with your stay. My wife and I have stayed here many times together and we have never had anything less than a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Chateau Nova Yellowhead to friends and family.

Located a bit out of the usual hotel strip it was close to an event I attended and chose this hotel for convenience. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and expected traffic noise( due to its proximity to the yellowhead highway ) was at a minimum level. Not even noticeable. I would stay here again

Rooms were perfect. Great size, comfortable beds, very quiet. Lots of parking and restaurant on site was better than expected! Ended up eating there a few nights because it was good! Exactly what I needed for the week. Only downside was there could have been better water pressure in the shower/washroom.

Hotel was fairly clean and staff were friendly. They don't have a pool unfortunately, but they do have a fitness centre and a steam room. Our room wasn't cleaned when we checked in, so we were given another room right away, which was nice. The most annoying thing about this place was the static shock that I experienced EVERY SINGLE TIME I went to use my key card to unlock my door after getting out of the elevator. I don't know what it was that was causing it, but it hurt and made me scared to open the door ever.

I attended a 50th wedding anniversary celebration and was impressed with the venue. The staff was friendly and attentive. Table service and clean up all fantastic! The celebration had a buffet and service was great. The dishes were replenished so yhere was always fresh and hot food available. Seafood medley was delicious and same with the roast beef. Dessert table had fresh fruits and a selection of squares, not too much but perfect as the celebration desserts were plenty! I would totally recommend this venue for weddings or for any celebration.

I had a wonderful stay this past long weekend! Asma at the front desk was super helpful and kind. I arrived from Calgary exhausted and completely overwhelmed, she managed to check me in quickly and was very friendly and polite. The room was comfortable and well maintained! I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Great job and keep up the good service.

The hotel itself was nice but the staff were unhelpful and almost seemed uninterested in doing their jobs. Weird vibe for a hotel. I will stick with major chains in future... this place just seems to have no element of customer service.

Terrible they turned us away at 12 at night. even though we reserved a room and it says we did not need a credit card to book the room. refused to be accommodating. We had to take are two small children elsewhere after a 6 hour drive out here More

This place is very nice and spacious! Went here for a Christmas work party which was nearby and we wanted to unwind and drink so we booked an overnight stay here. I love the whole look of the hotel. Classy, spacious and modern as you can

This hotel is a hidden gem. This was our second stay and the room was clean and cozy and QUIET!!! I can’t get over how quiet it was just being right on St. Albert Trail and the Yellowhead.

Very happy with the stay. Very reasonable rates and you're still in very central location in the city but avoiding having to park downtown and pay for separate parking.

They only show pictures of the couple nice rooms they have. Most of them look like any other trashy cheap motel.
