Hi folks. I don't think I have ever left a 1-star rating for any business. Let me start by pointing out that I was aware the website states "Flowers may vary from the image displayed due to seasonal availability. We'll craft an arrangement which is similar in style using seasonal flowers that is equal or greater in value." Therefore, I intentionally called the store so I could discuss what I required for this order. I asked for something similar to one of their online arrangements (Garnet), as it had a shape I liked and included Leucadendron (plus a couple of Chrysanthemums and small Orange Orchids in the mix), and stated it was "A stunning combination of earth-toned natives with bright white disbud chrysanthemums". I explained I specifically wanted native flowers as it was for an indigenous, male family member in hospital. I was told that could be done. I also included chocolates and a card ($10!) plus there was delivery on top ($140 Total). While the arrangement that was actually sent had Leucadendron as promised, the rest was White Stock, Yellow Gerbera and Blue Singapore Orchids (not a fan of those orchids... but anyway...). Hardly what anyone would call native flowers. They also sent a Happy Mother's Day card! Rang this morning and spoke with the woman I had placed the order with. She told me it was not a Mother's Day card, just a normal card. I said I had a photo of the card, and it was definitely a Mother's Day card. When she asked me "so what do you want?" I suggested a refund for the card and perhaps a discount on the flowers would be good too. She advised something along the lines that with their new eftpos system she could probably only refund the card but that was it. She wasn't willing to do a discount. I told her not to bother with it at all then, but advised I would be posting a "nice", little review. Funnily enough, just before hanging up on me she did admit that "it was probably my fault" (as in her own error). Furthermore, today when I looked at the website, I noticed that the same arrangement had a price drop of $25 (down from $93 to $68). What the heavens above??? Let's say I'm not so cheerful!!! Do yourself a favour and just go with another company.
The last time I was here, it was fantastic. Whatever staff was on today was horrible. I wanted to buy some baby's breath. I go in, grab a bouquet and the staff slowly process it. The lady at the counter gingerly wrapped my flowers in a magenta plastic sheet. Their machine was awful, so slow, so they told me to get cash out. It took me maybe 20 mins to find a place that could give me cash (I had to go to the bank). I went back with my measly $20 and by the time I was back, my flowers had been unwrapped, put BACK into the pot and when the lady realised who I was, she snatched my money out of my hand and gave me a far worse bouquet (spindly, literally 2 stalks with speckles of white flowers) and said "this is your's". Yeah, no it wasn't. I'm very disappointed in this store. Legit the last time I went here, it was the best florist experience I've ever had, since the good store attendant seemed to WANT to be there, she also seemed to be knowledgeable about flowers, going so far as to educate me on caring for them. That's true service, not whatever today was. Edit: Just went back for a refund, maybe 10 mins after I bought the flowers. They denied me it because they said "oh its like if you wanted to return fruit, it's very fresh! It's the machine's fault!" I was denied that, but they could still take the flowers back and keep my money. Yeah, now sell them to someone else and make double. I'd highly recommend this florist if you have yet to experience highway robbery.
horrible horrible service. I genuinely never write reviews however this store is unbelievably rude… I entered the store and someone was in-front of me so i patiently waited. The lady in-front of me asked the worker to arrange the flowers in a bouquet and it looked nice so i was going to purchase the same. While waiting for the lady to finish, the boss lady came in however completely ignored me and served the person behind me first. I waited again patiently for the other worker to serve me. When it was my turn and I asked for the same bouquet to be arranged, she said that it was the same as the one displayed in-front and told me to take that one. It was not the same. The flowers were different, and it was on the verge of dying. As soon as I heard that I immediately left the store with no regret. Terrible customer service
This is the most ridiculous company in the world. I placed an online order to pickup on Sunday and they only messaged me (not even a call to apologise) they cannot fulfil. Then I request cancel the order and issue refund. They said they cannot do it online I have to come in person to process a refund. What a joke?! How abt if I am not living in this area? This is 21st century still cannot proceed via internet? Then I came to the shop they said need to deduct $10 for handling charge? They said this was not their fault as they already contact me they cannot fulfil. What a joke again? Don’t tell me it’s the customer’s fault to place an order? There are 2 women talked non stop and they don’t let you breathe I am not recommend this florist to anyone. Their service is awful. They even don’t worth a star as rating.
We were sold on a bouquet because it came in a little jute material bag. However as we walking around it was leaking everywhere. Upon inspection, the flowers was placed in round takeaway box half filled with water. It should have been in floral foam but they lazily placed it in a takeaway box. So disappointed by the lack of integrity. Would not recommend.
I was supposed to pick up my order today only to find out that they have not prepared my order! The staff onsite today has no clue about my order eventhough the other staff members has written my order in their notebook. This shows that there is no communication between the staff members. Really disappointing
Worst experience ever! I ordered my bridal bouquet from here. The bouquet was meant to be 6 big roses with baby breaths , however, what i had received at the date was 8 small roses , a little bit bay breaths with lots of greens. The quality of the flowers were awful, the leaves were fallen off during my ceremoy.
The business name "Cheerful" does not reflect the service. They have terrible customer service. Very rude and not cheerful/friendly at all - they snapped at us and treat customers as if we are a nuisance. The quality of the corsage is also quite average. Highly recommend not to purchase their products.
I chose a flower arrangement to be delivered today, and the actual arrangement that was delivered was so much more generous and spectacular than the display! Thank you Jackie for taking the care. I am truly happy with the result.
