As pharmacies go, Chemist Warehouse is competitively priced. But it's important to know that the name Chemist Warehouse is literally true. It doesn't matter whether it's Adelaide St in downtown Brisbane or in the middle of the desert, each & every store is crammed from floor to ceiling with merchandise, the aisles so narrow that two averagely built people cannot stand abreast. I'm not exaggerating. It's cramped. Last week I made a purchase here. Both prescription medication and some toiletries. Despite the fact that the lunchtime rush made the store understandably busy, the staff at the dispensary were pleasant and efficient. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of one of the two 'checkout operators' at the front of the store. My purchase, six items totalling approximately $64.00, was processed by the operator in such a sullen, 'put upon' manner that I honestly felt as if I had done something to offend her. Everything she did during the transaction was underpinned by a kind of surliness, like she was a petulant child, treating her job as if it were punishment. Her attitude, quite frankly, bordered on silent hostility. Once my payment had been processed, I took my receipt & said 'thank you'. I would have said 'thank you' regardless, but on this occasion I said it as much to gauge her reaction. She said nothing. Didn't even look at me. I left the store, to be honest, a little taken aback by the young woman's rudeness. Within a few seconds of exiting, I collected myself and re-entered the store, having decided to see if I could identify her by a name tag in order to share this feedback. There was no name tag visible. The fact that this staff member was laughing and joking with her colleague at the next register suggested strongly the idea that she is perfectly happy in her work as long as she isn't burdened by the presence of customers. Part of this review was taken directly from an email I sent to Chemist Warehouse's feedback address. They have yet to respond.

My mother in law and I came into the store and were treated horribly. We came to this store because another chemist warehouse told us that they had free acu-check glucose monitoring devices in stock in the city. Upon arrival the pharmacist kept raising her voice and kept arguing that nothing is ever free and that we are wrong. We kept insisting she check the system but refused multiple times as "nothing is ever free, you will never get anything for free in life" and she continued to tell us that we were wrong and it wasn't worth her time to check. Eventually we convinced her to check the system and when she found out that it was free, she was extremely rude saying that "I don't know why they would give you these for free, your lucky this time". I would understand somebody being this rude if they were busy and flustered, but there was only one other customer. I will never return to this store and I urge people to avoid it at all cost. Horrible customer service, 0 empathy, 0 social skills, awful person.

chemist warehouse are usually good for discounted prices. I called into Adelaide Street branch on my way to work for Omega 3 fish oils. I found the ones that I usually buy. when I got to the counter the bar code did not work, a line had been drawn through it. I went back to the shelf and found the other 2 remaining on the shelf had a line through the bar code. the store manager met me there and told me product cannot be sold because the best before date was only 5 weeks away. I told him we would use them all before the date. He still would not let me buy them. I asked why they were still on the shelf if they were not for sale? He just apologised. I thanked him for wasting my time.

I don't want to complain this shop because I get all my medicine here for 3 years and most of the stuff are very nice to me, they all know me and even a male stuff can recognize my new hair colour and paise me every time. But today when I checked out, the white female cashier said how are you to the person before and after me but didn't say it to me. Maybe you think it's a very small thing and doesn't need to be complained, but I used to be a cashier, I know how important to say how are you to everyone. This white female cashier made me feel she is a racist and not respectful. Maybe your shop manager didn't do the training well, or you don't care your stuff being racist.

This pharmacy is repeatedly unable to receive scripts from my Dr. I have been standing at the Dr reception and saw the correct details entered and saw the delivery receipt yet this pharmacy claim to have not received the script. Now they have stopped filling scripts they receive because they claim they haven't received the physical script in the mail yet. Again, the Dr has sent scripts repeatedly and they acknowledge they have received all but 2 and yet refuse to fill another script until they also get those two. I don't understand why their systems are failing so frequently but I'm now in a position that I am no longer able to use them.

Furious - this chemist needs to get their house in order. Long cues for the past month to both leave a script and pick up. Staff taking the script didn’t even read a critical notation that meant I completely wasted 40minutes in lines waiting. Tried to be understanding - but to know that my additional waiting could have been prevented by staff reading the script properly is infuriating. No apologies for the delays or for the oversight. No space to properly line up without being bumped which causes a great number of people including myself discomfort. Avoiding and no longer using this venue.

Went in the Chemist thoroughly confused out of m wits needing assistance, asked a couple of the staff for help they seemed somewhat annoyed only half guided me "an" item that might supposedly help then walked away... Seeing no other option went to the checkout to aske some questions she seemed impatient too although there was no one at the line, and replied back to me in a loud almost shouty voice which she no doubt thought commanding but only ended sounding unbefitting of her role. I left the store feeling like a thoroughly inadequate and helpless person.

Friendly staff and well stocked shelves. Unfortunately, I had to wait over an hour for my prescription! When I was finally able to ask a staff member about it, they had it sitting in the back and ready to collect. My name was never called out though. I had been waiting near the pickup counter the entire time and never heard my name my once! A buzzer system, like what they have at other Chemist Warehouses, would be very helpful!

Friendly staff but when I bought my prescription, they charged me full price even though I tried to give my health care card. The lady that took my prescription said that my health care card is already on the script. I was only able to find out when I got home and good thing I kept my receipts from my prescriptions. Thought to fill my prescription since the location was convenient instead of doing it on my local pharmacy.

I have been unable to get to the store to pick-up a Click & Collect parcel as the lockdown has prevented this; however the store has been SO responsive in allowing me to have it posted to me after I sent a reply bag. They were always aware of my parcel, courteous on the phone and overall helpful. Thank you so much for your patience during such a strange and difficult time. I will be very grateful for this.

Was still getting calls for the medication that was already picked up. Went in, told them about the error in calls, ordered new ones for next time. Went for pickup 1 week later before the doctors appointment - no order was placed. Was told there was a miscommunication from the last order. Missed my appointment. Thankfully TerryWhite Chemist had it in stock so it saved my placement.

Poor experience using click and pick in this store. At first it showed they have stock and I paid full price. Next day, they message me that they don't have stock for several items. And there's an Asian male staff really not helpful and stubborn as I've already showed him documents this is me, he's still wasting time there. Won't come this branch again. Very unprofessional.

Great range of products at good prices. What let's this place down is the pharmacy at the back. The staff are friendly and helpful but they're hugely overworked. It's a busy place due to the excellent prices so the management need to have more staff. They should also get a bonus for having to listen to that moronic nicorette ad playing on a loop.

Its as if they do not belong to the chemist warehouse franchise, they do not honor price match which is a joke and waste of my time i will be reporting this incident to head office for failing to abide by your franchise agreement, if you want to make your own rules then change the name of your store!!! They would not do a refund or store credit for a product I bought even though I only bought it 3 days ago and the seal was not broken. I recommend going to a non chemist warehouse chemist as they all price match to chemist warehouse anyway and have better customer service.

Good prices and selection. Only offers heavy/thick plastic bags (at 10cs) for your purchases, generally, expect a paper bag to put chemist purchases in. Wouldn't have attended, had I known this was the case. Too much hassle/lack of privacy carrying stuff with no bag.

Worst customer service, don’t worry about coming here, go the many other chemists in the area, it took me talking over 8 different customer service reps (one of them twice) to look for a item I had specifically put on hold before coming into store.

Waited between 5 and 8 mins in the queue for the pharmacy. No acknowledgement from pharmacy staff at all. On the way out, found the pharmacy manager and informed that I was going to go elsewhere, no concern from her either.

Although it's a small shop in comparison of other Chemist Warehouse, it has everything in store. Its popular for city dwellers and city visitors. Fregrance section is big with collection of different brands.

The female chemist was not friendly at all. Can't say she was rude,but definitely not friendly. People can smile and be a bit nicer when talking to customers. Definitely will not go back there

Super busy Chemist in the heart of Brisbane. This store is packed to the rafters full of products and has just about everything you could possibly need.
