Located off of Altamesa Blvd and McCart Ave in Fort Worth, this Chick-Fil-A provides great chicken to the community and is a hot spot for those coming off of I-35 and I-20. That being said, lots of foot traffic means a busy location, which, when understaffed, causes a long wait. Food: No complaints on the food here. Chicken and fries were hot and crispy. The salad greens were fresh. The sweet tea was sweet, just how we like it. They did not skimp on sauces and condiments. We ordered the Cobb Salad, the Kid's Meal with 5 nuggets and fries, and the 8 Count nugget meal. Service: As mentioned, this place receives plenty of foot traffic. When we visited, there was only one person taking orders inside, while the rest helped in the back, at the drive-thru, or delivering to pick-up orders outside. I wouldn't have had an issue if it was only a couple people inside waiting, but there were several people who were waiting and making remarks. This is not a knock on the staff members - they were polite, kind, and doing their best to be quick while also keeping up the CFA image of hospitality - but I do think the management could've done better to manage the staff. I also had an encounter with the manager or shift lead. When I was going for a refill at the counter, she stood and watched while I waited to be seen. When one of the delivery couriers came inside, he greeted me and filled up my drink. I just don't see why she couldn't have offered to refill it herself as she had seen me waiting and was not doing anything else other than standing there. This was not consistent with my other experiences at CFA. Atmosphere: Family-friendly environment. Staff is kind and friendly.

Tried to come back this week even tho half my order was missing last week...well today was no better the guy taking my order outside(heavier set man) didn't act like he even wanted to be at work he didnt repeat my order back or even let me know he was done with my order just gave me my total and told me pay at the window no have a good night my pleasure hell even an F you wouldve been better then nothing at all...i get to the window get my drinks handed to me in a carrier only 1 of the 4 drinks had the lid on all the way check my order thats all shoved into 1 little bag and of course im missing a 12 count nugget im steadily saying excuse me as the window is wide open and everybody is just playing around including the manager i finally get the man's attention he looks at me crazy when i tell him im missing the nuggets he hands me the box no bag to put it in i get home which is 2mins away go to get out the car and of course the crammed bag splits open, go to eat theres not 1 polynesian sauce that i asked for only 2 honey mustards go to eat my frys there so cold even the kids didnt want theres and everybodys food is so cold my chicken sandwhich is slapped together and all crunched up and falling apart from being crushed at the bottom of the bag & of course there was not 1 pickle the kids are missing nuggets in the box i ordered 2 12 counts we got 9 in one box and 10 in the other... needless to say we will not be coming back to this location it has gone so down hill somebody needs to get in this location and do some serious training for the entire restraunt before it loses all business

(Second email)Hello I have gone to Chick-fil-A once again. They charged me a fruit cup which I did receive but was not wanted. I didn’t get any chicken minis I didn’t check the Bag before leaving. Not my pleasure. This was my first visit at this location and it is not run like other CFAs. There was the line of cars which is typical at any CFA at 3pm, but only 1 couple inside, and then me. The dining area was empty. There were two people at the front but only one taking orders. The other person was just standing there talking with a growing line of customers. The person taking orders seemed disinterested in anything. The assistant manager was standing nearby joking with other staff while wearing his hat backwards (I’ve never seen that before in any other CFA). I placed my order, took my receipt and drink and sat down. Twelve (12) minutes later my drink is empty and food has not arrived at the table. I went to the counter and explained this to the assistant manager. He looked at my receipt, looked at the board, asked my name, and then packaged my meal. He said my order never appeared on their board, but I had my receipt with time and date so I was able to have a meal. Maybe it’s the location, maybe it’s the lack of training, or something else the owner / operator is missing, but this place is not run well.

This has got to be the hardest review I’ve yet to do. And to be fair, it only represents this location, not any other franchise location. We did a mobile curbside of 5 meals and shakes to celebrate for the birthday boy. ( we know it takes time for these orders especially after 5…so I ordered with ample time)We drove in, input our number for our parking and within about 5 minutes it said it was on its way. A little over 10 minutes go by, and the order cleared from my app … without any food delivered. So needing to now get off, they proceed to make me wait inside for another 10 -15 minutes. Reviewing my order I realize only HALF my order was in the bag, so going back in to explain I’m missing shake/meals, the young man says “he’s getting it” which after another 6 minutes I ask if my order is complete… and they finally retrieve said complete order. NEVER have I experienced quality service from this place but today, today was the icing on the cake ( if you’re one for puns) on the birthday dinner we had so eagerly planned.

I ordered with a young man who was standing in-front of the speakers, he did not give me a receipt, I expected it to be in the bag and it wasn’t. At the window I asked for buffalo sauce and ketchup and the young girl with the long brown braids rolled her eyes and threw them In the bag. She then asked if those were my cokes to a fellow coworker, didn’t get an answer and still prices to hand them to me, either way I said thank you but did not get the usual “my pleasure” response, my chicken sandwich did t have any pickles, and I had ordered it with extra pickles. Both my fries and my daughter’s fries were cold. I tried calling the restaurant several times but continued to get a busy tone with no answer. Bad customer service and blabs food! I ordered Chick-N-Minis and as a suggestive sale, I added Hash Browns. I had limited time (on my break) and as the line began to move slowly, unfortunately, I got stuck and couldn't move. Anyway, finally I paid for my meal, got home less than 5 minutes away and my food was cold. I eventually looked at my receipt and learned I was in line for 9 minutes. Bottom line, I guess fast food restaurants no longer leave your food under the heat lamps until right before it's your turn to pay at the drive up window to retrieve your food. Everything has been good at this location except for the junk on the patio and in the storage area under the play area that is sometimes visible from the drive through. Whenever they move the large lean-to on wheels (the size of a small shed) you can see the mess under the play area. Not sure why they think chick-fil-a should look like it's owned by a hoarder or like a homeless camp on the patio instead of nice outdoor seating.

Worst Chick-fil-A ever! People in the drive-through were so rude I could not understand his mumbling he was covering his mask with the iPad.. I asked for avocado ranch and he said I need to order a salad or they cannot give it to us. I told him I will pay for it. He says “I will put it down, but that don’t mean you’re going to get it.” I get to the window and ask if I can have an avocado ranch sauce and they tell me n o he already told you back there. My order was wrong, They gave me 12 pieces instead of the eight piece that I ordered. My sandwich had pickles which I asked for no pickles. I went to this Fort Worth location yesterday for breakfast through the drive-thru. I parked in the parking lot to eat because I had an appointment and wanted to put something on my stomach before my day started. Well I started chewing what seemed to be rubbery chicken. I spit it out and it was raw chicken! It wasn’t the only piece though. It was a lot. I don’t know how someone could have missed that when they were cutting it up putting it in the bowl. I went back through the drive-thur and gave it back to the manager. She seemed very nonchalant about it so I just asked for my money back. I hope no one accidentally feed any of this chicken to their child yesterday because I certainly ended up with a stomachache. Very disappointing Chick fil a.

THE WORST CHICK-FIL-A I have gone to. The guy taking my order you couldn't hear a single word he was saying, was mumbling the entire time. I ordered a 12 count nuggets with a large fries and large sweet tea. The only part of my order he got right was the large sweet tea. I ended up with an 8 count nuggets had to change my fries to a large at the window only to come home and realize I was given an 8 count. They also didnt ask if we wanted dipping sauces. The past months we had so many issues with them getting our order wrong. Will definitely start going to a different location from now on. Very disappointing.

The Chick-fil-A in N.Richland Hills is AWESOME. They look out for their Vets, with those who protect and serve the public daily-Law Enforcement and Fire Fighters, and provide a friendly, attentive and nicely discounted experience to those who served and serve. This place is the best. Note: Not all Chick-fil-as are like the one in N.Richland Hills. The one on Alta Mesa gives very little discount to those who served, so go to N.Richland Hills for real service.

Terrible experience The Drive Thru woman named Alicia or Alisha is very Rude. She doesn’t have a mice day or smile. I had. Online order and the employees that are outside were taking a while to take the orders so I pulled up to the speaker box & i said i have an online order and gave my name , when I pulled up to the window Alicia or Alisha said i need to tell the order to the employees outside and I need to pull up and if Not They will call the police. Went on a Saturday. It was busy, I ordered thru the app and parked in curbside to pick my food up. Checked in on the app at 11:57am. Didn't get my food until 12:18pm, no sauce or utensils in my bag as requested in the app so had to go in for the sauce. Curbside doesn't seem to be a priority at all. I live closer to this location but will make the drive to the McPherson one from now on because they never miss anything in my order and curbside is the same priority as everyone else, never have to wait long even when their busy.

I don't know what happened to this place. You can't even ask for more than 2 salsas at this location now. Why? Salsa is not expensive and it really makes the breakfast. And I know it's not just a temporary ordering issue because they've been doing this for 6+ months now. What a weird hill to die on, especially for a Chick-Fil-A. I absolutely love this place. They have the longest lines throughout the day however they always get the lines moving swiftly. The are slightly pricey but definitely worth it. If you have not already, make sure you download their app for amazing deals/free stuff. My son had fun playing in their play area (it is pretty limited). The staff is phenomenal here. We had a minor issue yesterday and the manager quickly resolved the issue. I tried the mac and cheese everyone has been talking about but it was just ok to me.

Hey owner/ manager, Please put more people (ie more than 1) on the front cash register. This place only had 1 person working the front register, several folks milling around with boxes, and overall just seemed disorganized compared to 99% of other Chick-fil-A's I have visited. My suggestion: Call Kingsville, TX or Corpus Christi,TX as their locations eem to run extremely well.

I never thought I’d say this about Chick-fil-A, but I’m disappointed. The chicken is dry, the fillet itself is puny with no batter, and I’m pretty sure they forgot to salt the fries. The fries also taste like they were cooked with grease from something else (in other words, they taste funky). After a 30 minute wait, I feel like I wasted my time. This is the first Chick-fil-A experience that has left me feeling this way about their food. I doubt I’ll be back to this one.

The best Chick-fil-A in my area. This one has two drive thru lanes and it moves faster than all the others. There is also a lot of open parking space. My order is correct all the time as well and the employees are good with people.

Chick-fil-A Drive-Thru Dinner Theater the only one I know of in the U.S. As I drove through the drive-thru to pick up a chicken sandwich I thought I was in Tahiti! Asking what all the hoopla was about, it seems the staff performs a live show on Saturday evenings for those that are driving thru to pick up food! LOL!!!! You've got to love the creativity even if you don't eat chicken!

I could not be happier with my experience at this Chick-fil-a. Our food came out quick despite it being busy. The staff was great and fun. And Christopher makes the best sunjoys. They’re so good you’ll be walking on sunshine!

Worst Chick FIL A ever. Took them 30 minutes to fill my curbside after I arrived and checked in. I went inside and found that they were serving the drive thru reasonably well but everyone doing dine in and curbside was being totally neglected. Employees were super unorganized and clueless.

Super busy location almost all the time, Monday through Friday day crew (mngmt & staff) is efficient, professional and friendly. Night and weekend crew (mngmt & staff) lackadaisackle, rude,stone faced, innefficient and unprofessional.

Worst wait in drive through i have ever experienced. I cannot believe this location. If the whole of Chick-fil-A gets this bad then Popeyes is on the move up. 40 minute wait to order. 20 more for food. Top it off order was wrong and cold. My drink was warmer than the chicken...

The organic component of the food is what attracts me here. It is healthy. I don't have to worry about gout or arthritis flareup.

I would say 0 stars but can’t. Worst service for a pick up order ever. Had to wait in line for nearly 10 minutes just to get 2 freaking salads that are already prepared. Fuxken got to be kidding me place is a joke and a blemish on all chick-fil-a’s reputations.

The traffic management sucks. Placed mobile order for curbside as I pulled up to restaurant. Took 20 minutes to get to curbside spot. No one ever came out after entering parking spot #. Went in with it raining to retrieve cold chicken strips. :( More

They be having cute lil decorations but they always somehow find a way to mess up the orders. Not to mention their menu around the breakfast chicken minis is weird. They only sell the 4 count.

Normally when I come here the food is awesome but today I went my box of hashbrowns was full of grease, it soaked the box and the bag. The hashbrowns look a mess. I was very dissatisfied with the meal.

Just got chick Fi la and I just got the worst chicken sandwich ever. This sandwich is super burnt. I’m very disappointed because I come here often and it’s usually good but this is just terrible.

This location refused to give me extra condiment even when I offered to pay. I was refused one extra salad dressing. As much money as we give this location, that is ridiculous! More

I'm not sure who was making the food today at The Altamesa location. But Epic fail. My bun was dry & crumbly like old bread & broke in half. My Fries were cold & unsalted.

Their waffle fries taste the boy scouts that I used to know. No to mention their cookie taste just like the girls scouts. Overall, granny would be proud.

It seems that this Chick-fil-A is always full, but their food is always great regardless. Really like how this establishment did the Green Receipt Day.
