We absolutely love coming here! My only complaint: they need to update their changing table situation. The placement/size of the one in the main women’s bathroom is laughable and impossible to use. The only other one is in one of the 2 family restrooms in the back near the toddler area. It’s extremely small as well like the other one but at least the placement made it accessible. The first time we came here the family restroom in the back was out of service, so I ended up changing my daughter on the floor of the nursing room. Why not add a changing table in the nursing room? Or at least update the ones you have to be bigger and more accessible? I know I’m not the only parent who would appreciate it. Especially since this is a museum for small children

Visited the place recently and found it expanded its exhibits compares to 10 years ago. Added second floor exhibits and hands-on things dedicated to STEM probably more suitable for upper elementary students and up. Our rising 1st Grader spend almost 2 hours at this place. $20/Person for up to 3 hours session. Advanced online bookings ia HIGHLT recommended if you want to get in. We parked on streets near apartment complexes next to the museum. DO NOT go near the Aquarium as the traffics around the entrance of its parking deck is HORRIBLE!

I came here years ago with my oldest child and finally decided to bring my youngest. It was such a blast and both my children loved it! Years ago my daughter loved the restaurant, grocery store and farm. While recently, my son loved the crane, tree house, shipping truck and sand box. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. It was clean and all the toys were in great shape. Going on Tuesday saved us a little on the price of tickets but plan ahead for parking. Buy parking before you leave if you can. It's always busy in Atlanta.

Really fun place for kids $18 per person (kids price is the same) Parking starting at $15 in the area. We love hands on children museums and this was an excellent experience for our kids. It's nice and clean and well maintained. The staff is very active in cleaning up after the kids and that helps ensure toys are available for everyone. Check out the pics for more info on the the different attractions. I would say an hour is more than enough time to spend here. You can leave and come back if you get your hand stamped. You can eat upstairs but it may be filled with kids on field trips. You must bring your own food.

Kind of underwhelming. Had expectations of more learning through experience but it is more of an activity/play center with some information. The price was less than other attractions within the area, yet still left me with the impression I paid too much. However, if in the area, it's far more affordable to visit the children's museum rather than the Coca Cola facility or the Georgia Aquarium. Lastly, tickets must be purchased online.

The Atlanta Children's Museum is a haven for fun and learning! The interactive exhibits spark curiosity and engage young minds in a myriad of educational activities. The staff's enthusiasm and knowledge enhance the experience, creating an enriching environment for kids. While some areas could use a bit more maintenance, the diverse range of exhibits and programs make this museum a fantastic destination for families seeking playful, educational adventures

Lots of fun for the kiddos! I love that they have toddler sections off to the side so your bigger kids can do some running and climbing while the smallest kids have a place sized for them. Glad to see so many people still wearing masks, and the split play times help with capacity. We especially enjoyed the Farm to Table activities and the trains showing geography.

My kid walked in, saw all the balls and immediately ran off. She had an absolute blast! All the staff was attentive and very friendly, it was clean, there was plenty for a variety of ages and I'm guessing some of the exhibits are temporary, so I'm sure they keep new stuff. It was big enough so we went on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded for anything. The sandboxes were our (her) favorite. We may try an art class that seems to run on the half hour next visit.

I love the Children's Museum and my children love the Children's Museum. Great way to burn off some energy and get some educational time in. I really love the person that did the sound lesson upstairs. I wish they had more people at the different stations to explain to the kiddos what was happening to make it a little more educational and not just play.

My nephew is 4 years old and he and my sis and bro are in town from Dallas. The Children’s Museum is the perfect place for children to learn and explore! It was great for my own inner child to watch and collaboratively play with him. Will definitely bring him back for more time exploring!

The museum was a little smaller than I expected and it got pretty crowded during our visit. However, it was very well laid out for younger kids. They shut down in the middle of the day to clean everything and then re-open. That's a smart and appreciated move to keep everyone healthy.

Our 3 year old and 1 year old LOVE this place. We invested in memberships a year ago and it was a no brainer to renew. Our kids will beg and cry to come here. It is clean and friendly and something for kids of a variety of ages. Also a great option when it's too hot or too cold outside.

Always great fun for the kids! Lots of stuff to do and can definitely come back many times and do different things. I love where they get to make different things at the stations upstairs. Loved when they did a scavenger hunt as well. Clean and great staff. All happy and sweet

We are members! We come quite often and every time our kids find something new to play with. If you live in Atlanta, I would recommend you just become a member. By the time you pay for you and the kids once or twice, you bought the membership. Parking is a bit tricky but if you come often enough you’ll figure out where the cheaper spots are too. Come join us! We love this place!

  • Andrea Evans

Ive taken my kiddo here several times now and it’s always a great time. There’s lots of activities and plenty of opportunities for the kids to socialize and parents to meet. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever they have events or just to get out of the house on the weekend.

We visited this place on long weekend, but it was not crowded much. Our time in this place was really amazing. We like the museum and the concept with each and every play topic is unique. My kid like the water and fish, Waffle House and the paint wall. Surprisingly they have music and play time for few minutes for all the kids. It’s for all ages!!

One of our favorite places to visit. My kids love playing there, CMA offers varity of activities at the same. This means 3hours might be too short to enjoy what CMA has to offer, so we usually book for 2sessions of morning and afternoon together.

A wonderful center full of enrichment and science education. Not a conventional museum, but more of an interactive play environment for children to explore and experience. Staff is helpful and friendly. Museum regularly updates exhibits and has a number of well known classic areas that always lead to a fun time. More

Really fun children's museum. Lots of exhibits that can entertain various ages (we had 2.5 + 4). Kept our toddlers busy for 1.5 hours easily and they got to try everything except the big kid climber. Price was reasonable and while it wasn't quite as large as St Louis or even Tampa museums, it's still a great visit!

Great place to take the kids to have fun. I wish it was not in the middle of downtown as it's impossible to take the kids there in the middle of the week with their hours.

Visiting from Cincinnati, I expected more of the Atlanta children's museum. It was fine and our daughter enjoyed her time (3 years old) but there are definitely things I prefer at Cincinnati's museum. The water play area was underwhelming, the slide/playground area was not large enough. More

Children's Museum of Atlanta is a wonderful experience that my kiddo gets so excited about every time we visit! Such a great addition to an otherwise exciting spot in downtown and well with the price of admission. We bought memberships! More

My family and I had a ball! We took my 3 year old grandson and he was totally amazed. When we entered the museum he said "Wow. Wow Mommy " So the next three hours he was locked into the most fun he had had in a while. He had more fun here

  • Valerie Sumner

This was an hour and half drive for us, so I would not go again. My three year old had a good time, but there are no activities for adults, so there should be no reason adults should have to pay. Very overpriced! Most kids places give at

Compared to other children’s museums we’ve been to, this one is just ok. It’s smaller, and it’s lacking in some areas where they could have filled the space with more exhibits. The water exhibit could be much cooler if they made it more

  • Adam Slide

This is a nice children's museum but I'm giving it four stars because it's a little pricey ($16.95 per person on the weekend for both kids and adults) and my kids just didn't find the activities and exhibits to be that fun.

  • Xavien Jones

First time here, and it was a great experience. Not overcrowded, and plenty of activities. My daughter loved the sand pits and all the arts and crafts as well. Great addition to the weekend.

We LOVE the children’s museum! I have had a membership for several years and my kids love coming nearly quarterly. The new exhibits are always fun and interactive. I highly recommend this for children of all ages!

Annual mbership is worth every penny for sure. Our toddler (2.5 years old) LOVES this place. It never gets old and is a great way to. Burn off some energy (especially when the weather outside isn't great) More

Clean, organized, staff all over the museum to help organize the toys after being used. The shop is not really big and there is no a lot of things to buy. But our daughter played and had fun, so it was OK.

  • Abbie Merritt

Have a membership but can’t book tickets online three times in a row now and can’t get a hold of anyone on the phone. But you’re not allowed to show up without tix even with a membership. Don’t bother .

An awesome play time. The science would better if my son slowed down. Toddler only areas, arts, building, pretend cooking and fishing, lessons, S.T.E.M. activities and lots of playing!

  • Imani

Nice outing for the children. The employees were very pleasant. I like that you need to purchase your tickets ahead of time so the place doesn’t get over crowded.

My kiddos had an absolute blast here! Definitely recommend! So much to do and lots of fun for my kids aged 2-7
