Went with my wife and 6 month old (in a Bjorn) and had a fantastic time. Peter, our tour guide, did a great job of telling the story of the old mine whilst also telling us related stories of his time in exploring it. He was very light hearted and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend it. More

It is an excellent and very reasonable trip out with the children for a couple of informative hours. There was an interesting, relevant tour for 45 minutes with a good mix of facts and humour. My children of 9,7, and 5 all enjoyed it. Peter, the guide, was great....

What a place! Perfect for something different to do, maybe a first date if you want to be original and not just go for drinks. Very interesting learning about the history of the caves. A must visit if you're local too, you might live above them and not even know!

What a fantastic find this was and well worth the hours drive. I’d recommend booking your tickets in advance because it’s busy and you could end up disappointed. Tickets are cheap and the cafe was reasonably priced, and although not a large

There's just something great about being underground. Feels otherworldly. The touch of just having the gas lamps meant it was pretty dark all the time but that adds to the atmosphere. Peter, the guide, had a kind of spiritual faith healer

It's definitely a little historic gem, meaning to visit for the longest time, only 30 mins drive from home, parking ample, reception staff, tour guides knowledgeable and bubbly. If you go as a group defo book in advance for a slot, I went

Great experience. Our guide was Peter he seemed very experienced and knowledgeable, was humorous and spoke clearly and eloquently. He demonstrated a game that children played down the caves during the war, but didn't really explain how it

I didn't expect that its such a great experience and it's in London at a very affordable price. I popped in randomly on saturday 5 min to 3pm and I got on the tour at 3. They only allow people with a tour due to health and safety and you

A brilliant tour, wish it could have been for longer. Our guide (sorry don't know his name, shorter bearded guy) was a great host. He walked backwards the whole time on a tour of just four of us which was insane considering how bumpy the

It is an interesting place. Good historical value. The caves are really impressive, and think that it once was a venue for live music... and hosted the likes of Hendrix, beetles, and Led Zeppelin to name few; it's really impressive. The

I highly recommend a visit to the caves. I have visited twice in the past year with my children and both occasions have not disappointed. We were lucky enough on both occasions to have Peter a wonderful guide full of knowledge and jokes

Guided experiences such as this one are always made better by a guide with personality, and that was certainly the case when I visited with a friend on the Easter weekend. Though I didn't catch his name, our bearded guide was immensely

Didn't prebook tickets as it was a last-minute decision, but I didn't wait long to purchase on the day. Really affordable day out! I paid £20 for me and 2 teenagers plus 2 drinks! If you took a picnic, there is a seating area I noticed

Bard inspired: Prepare to be spellbound by both the majesty of the cave and the magic of Peter, your guide through this subterranean wonderland. Don't be fooled by the green jacket and scholarly spectacles; this man's a bard of the
