Love a jog, stroll, picnic or chill here. They have a tennis club you can join. A play-park for the kids. Table tennis tables, a cafe and lots n lots of green space. Oh and there's a mini forest which you can walk through to the other side of the park with more greenery. Lots of friendly dog walkers too.
Plenty of space. Well kept. Cafe is a little expensive. Nice swing park for the children to play safely. Wooded areas and various football pitches and work outs going on daily. Several entrances/exits. Can vary the walk depending on fitness. Used by lots of people of all ages.
Today my husband and l went to visit Recreation ground the back of Chislehurst Library. Hasn't chanced much since my last visit about 35 years ago. Although it has a new play park for the kids and a new cafe with toilets. The woods at the
A trip down memory lane for my wife and I. My wife in particular for here a sentimental place - Chislehurst Recreation ground, garden and park - where she spent time in her younger days in this park, as too her time served in her primary
Cafe being opened makes it very attractive and with the ability to sit outside. However, disappointingly clear that the local youth are getting high and wrecking the good things with an upended flower box near a bench and gas canisters.
It's a nice enough recreational ground: flat ground, some benches to eat lunch and socialise with friends, and a small café that has a small range of drinks - the usual stuff - to choose from. It needs a little more TLC than it gets as
A local park used for general strolls and getting much needed fresh air. A basic open space with a kids play area, tennis courts and a cafe for drinks and snacks. Also close to Chislehurst High Street for local shops and restaurants.
Great little tiny ground that you could take little ones out to for an evening. Docking a star just because there isn't any place to get water / essentials close by and the parking is non existent. Access is by a walking path.
Other than the mud - which is fine if you're prepared with wellies.... This is one of my favourite local parks to take the kids. Lots to keep them busy, a cafe for refreshments, and woodlands at the back for a little walk
Nice looked after grass area where youth football clubs play on weekends, a small coffee shop with ice lollies. The playground was fairly large and has nice wooded area to explore.
Pleasant recreational area with lots of facilities, kids playground, and woodland areas that connect to the Walden Recreation Grounds. Though, a bit small and gets busier at times.
The greens were neatly mowed and the pathways were free from obstruction ... no litter anywhere only gripe would be lack of seating .. very limited benches otherwise a great spot!
A nice open green space with tarmac path all the way around, so on a bad day you do not need to walk on the grass when walking the dog. Also has a newish good cafe with seating.
Fun place for fireworks every year. During day it is fun to explore with kids and the dog. Woods are great and playground is full of things to entertain my two. Cafe nice.
Nice park. Mixture of fields, paths, and a small amount of woodland. Nice play facilities for kids. Seems quite safe with friendly people and dog walkers
Good mix of playground , children play area and beautiful woods and a cherry on top of proactive garden club which adds extra delights to it's beauty
Kids aged 6-7 years old and one aged 4 years old, all loved spending a couple of hours there. Cafe and small wood there. High street very close.
Nice park, with a lot of play equipment for all ages. Needs a bit of attention with the grass needing a cut, but otherwise very nice. More
Nice place. The biggest issue is that it gets quite muddy after rain. Still lots of space for making it more interesting!
Went to a Charity event day here on Sunday. Lovely place with plenty of shaded area in the woods.

Good fireworks event. Perhaps more stalls needed for the amount of people there as queues were rather long.
Amazing place to visit, the classic car show was excellent. The family loved it.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy some outdoor time
Loads of dog mess everywhere especially on the paths
It's a fine space with a great tea shop.
