Took my vehicle in to Chris Garage July 2020. Complaints of hitting bumps hard. He told me I needed new struts assembly and new tires. I told him to proceed as I am not the Mechanic and took his word for it. When I picked up the vehicle and got the invoice it was $2,052.68, I unhappily paid it and left. Couple months later I had taken my vehicle in for another issue to another Garage. They told me that my subframe was rotted out and that it should have been noticed when it was having struts replaced and new tires put on. Chris Garage had also replaced control arms previous to this repair. I went back to Chris Garage and asked him why he didn't tell me that the subframe was rotten and he said he didn't notice it and that it must of happened from getting my vehicle undercoated. Proof right there that he is dishonest. Getting your vehicle undercoated does not create rust on subframes or anywhere else. Guess he thought I was that dense. This is exactly why I gave this business 1* it doesn't even deserve that. No need to respond to my review or comment. You know you screwed up.

I walked in yesterday straight from work, cause I'm worrying about my car, I went after Google reviews and ohhh my gosh how disappointing the moment I walked in he didn't even bother to greed me pleasant at least for first time customer not just this he could see I was stress about my car worry etc , I'm a single mom, I'm a woman as well I don't know much about mechanical things about cars etc, but I almost begged him to come out to show him few things I'm worry about I asked him to test drive my car few minutes around the block nothing extremely rude unpleasant and definitely doesn't deserve my business all those google reviews just WOW!!!! Matters alot how to greed first time customers that walk in few nice words or even acting like he care to fix my car would have worked better then yesterday and I did nothing wrong but trying to give him my business as possible future customer!!!!

11/27/2023: TL;DR - Honest Service, would definitely recommend. My car had power but wouldn't start this morning. I called George and asked if I could have it towed here; George said they were fully booked today but if I brought it there he'd try and have a quick look today at least and let me know. Got a call a few hours later saying that there was a loose connection on a battery terminal - he tightened things up and the car starts totally fine again. He could have told me anything (need battery, alternator, new starter, fuel pump, etc etc) and I wouldn't have known the difference. Saved hundreds $$$ on not having to pay for a rental car or an unnecessary repair. Respect and honesty like this can be hard to find. 2020 review: Efficient, friendly, and reasonably priced. This morning on my way out the door I noticed that I had a flat tire. I called CAA and got the donut put on. My next door neighbor highly recommended Chris' Garage (owner George). I arrived at Chris' Garage and met the owner, George. George evaluated my tire and believed they would be able to repair the tire. His crew quickly repaired my tire and put it back on my car for a very reasonable price! Thanks to the efficiency of his garage, I was able to make it to work with minimal disturbance. I am so grateful I went to Chris' Garage! I was very nervous that I was going to be taken advantage of because I was female and did not know a lot about cars, however, George was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and I left feeling confident and happy in the work they provided me. Thank you so much!

I have been going to Chris' Garage for over a decade. George and his staff have always been very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The shop is clean and service is efficient. I have always trusted my vehicle here and know that George will provide top quality service for a reasonable price. Even during these uncertain times the staff at Chris' Garage always greet their customers with a smile on their face and are taking extra precautions in order to keep employees and customers safe. High-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected regularly in the shop and on customer's vehicles, gloves are worn and social distancing practices are being used. There is no other automotive center I would entrust my vehicle and credit George and his employees for keeping me safe on the road!

Buying and installing winter tires, I had heard good things about CHRIS' Garage, Barton street east. You can call ahead, drop off and know that only work necessary and approved by you will be done. The owner, George is a decent and honest mechanic who will treat you and your vehicle with respect. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of my new tires and rims and feel I paid a reasonable price. He is even storing my tires so I'm not lugging them back and forth. I found Chris’s garage online and read the reviews and decided to go to see if they could help me. Milan was very helpful and booked me in for the next day. George was there the following day and looked at the car and said what we needed doing, they did it the same day and the cost was far less than other quotes. Both George and Milan were polite and friendly and a pleasure to speak to. I will definitely be going back to them and would highly recommend them to anyone. Excellent service.

We were on our way to the States for a sporting event and we heard a noise on the highway. We called the shop and they agreed to see us knowing our situation right away even though they were very busy. Shout out to George for getting us on our way in less than an hour without any charge! About a month ago I took my car to my Toronto mechanic who quoted me a price I wasn't happy with. I mentioned it to a friend who referred me to Chris' Garage saying he'd been going there for years and the service was excellent and always fair. He was right. Everyone was extremely friendly and the best part was the result. I paid much less and the car is running as good as new. It was almost a 1 hour drive and it goes without saying that it's worth the drive.

I had a serious steering problem with my truck 7 months of having it repaired at a large auto repair shop. After some online research I found Chris' Garage and decided this was the place to go. I was not disappointed. George diagnosed the problems and took care of them for me. Very fair price, honest, efficient and professional. Excellent place, excellent service. Always go here for everything. Had starter replaced but went bad after 2 months. Brought the car in and they had the car up immediately and had me good to go within 2 hours same day and all was covered by warranty. Very honest place that will make right on any issues. If you're looking for a good, well priced and above all HONEST car repair shop, Chris's Garage is the best! They are unable to take advantage of you...that's just not how they work. The inside of your car is left clean and without grease marks on the steering wheel. They're friendly, kind and patient even with people like me who knows very little about cars, but most important they get the job done well....they know what they're doing!

They will stick a frame on both your license plates advertising their business without your permission, so watch out for that. The work was good and done quickly as I had required, but the part was overpriced. They charged $85 for the part, but I later saw it on Amazon for $35. Each point resulted in losing a star, but otherwise my experience with them was good.

We brought our Rav 4 into Chris' Garage as the suspension needed a fair amount of work. We told George to fix what was needed and that is exactly what he did. Ive called this shop to see how much they would do fluid change on my ml350 with all my stuff i picked up from dealer... 160$ plus tax he wanted to charge me for 20 to 30 minutes work this shop sucks... and will never be going there i dont recommend this ro anyone.
