One of the reasons we chose this Company was based on their responsiveness to my initial enquiry coupled with their reviews and length of time in business. In this day and age, it's certainly no accident that a company remains in business after 60 years. They have clearly mastered the key ingredients to success. The Colour Consultant Lani was a tremendous help with fine tuning our colour combinations and put our mind at ease. It's very difficult selecting colours for the exterior of the house from tiny colour swatches, so having this included in the service was invaluable to us. The painters arrived everyday on time and worked tirelessly throughout the day, only stopping for a quick 30 minute lunch break. Lee (Site Supervisor) called in regularly throughout the job to check we were happy with progress being made. We are extremely happy with the end result, the quality of their work is very impressive. Even our neighbours commented on what a good job the boys did. We will certainly use their services again for any future work we may need and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for quality work at a very reasonable price.

They painted a home unit. I was assured that no paint would get on the floors, in preparation for new flooring. In fact there were a lot of paint spots/blobs on the floor that eventually had to be removed. There was also paint on a range hood, a new fan blade and other appliances. There were also “touch ups” that had to be done. Also there were some areas that were not done as was originally agreed. I was told before the first paint job that “touch ups” may be required but this was much more than I expected. There was also a need to return a second time for more “touch ups”. After this last visit there were many muddy boot marks on the new flooring which took me a long time to clean. The paint job itself was sub-optimal with paint blobs and insufficient coats applied in some ares. Communication was good and to their credit they did return as was needed. Overall this was a disappointing experience.

Having a colour consultation prior to commencement reassured us that our chosen colours would freshen and modernise the appearance throughout and would compliment our existing furniture and flooring. I was most impressed with the service I received. I contacted the company on a Friday. Kurt visited our home on the following Monday and I had the quote within 24 hours as promised. The company was extremely professional and worked within the very short timeline that I had given. Ali and AB were our painters and they were a delight. They were very polite, careful and hard working. They arrived at 6:30am and within a minute of stepping inside the house they were working. A supervisor visited the site to inspect the progress and to discuss the work. As a non-smoker I really appreciated that the painters did not smoke so no cigarette butts or smell. Our experience was professional and pleasant from quote, to carrying out the work, to final check and touch ups. The painters arrived each day on time and worked diligently to repaint the entire interior, and then returned to complete touch-ups on the skirting and a couple of walls after the floor sanders had been through. This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Kurt responded quickly to my request for a price to paint the inside of our property and provided a very competitive quotation which we accepted. A few days later Sayed & Mohammad arrived as agreed and started work using quality Dulux paints. They were terrific guys and great painters, they helped with the heavier furniture moves, we had no mess,they arrived at 07:00 each morning and put in a full days work. Eight days later they had the job finished, excellent result. I used Chris Hoole on two jobs recently. The inside needed to be done in a tight time-frame and Chris Hoole was able to allocate a good team to get the work done quickly. Their attention to good preparation was excellent, which meant that the finished job was outstanding. The outside touch-up was a smaller job but end result was also excellent. What was most important was that in both cases the painting staff were excellent to work with - very flexible, very professional and polite, and explained what could be done and what was not suitable for an older house like ours. Pretty poor experience with Chris Hoole Painters after a recommendation from family. Whilst the office staff were easy to deal with, the communication from the production team was poor. Issues found on the job were rushed, instructions ignored and items left broken. End result isn't too bad for the price, but you get what you pay for in the end I guess. I won't be recommending to others.
