I decided to contact the Health Minister about my mental health struggles and to find out why the Western Community Mental Health service refused to help and sent back the referral back to my GP. I was asked to sign a release of information form and send it back in which i did. Nearly two months had passed without hearing a thing so i decided to contact this office to find out what was going on. I was told by a staff member that nothing had happened yet because the person that was handling my complaint had forgotten to do their job. Then when i finally do receive a response, it was just a pack of lies written by WCMH about me self referring, which i had done after they had sent back my doctors referral, but they didn't mention that. When i called the minister's office to enquire about WCMH being misleading in their response i was told that someone in the minister's office would call me back but no one ever did. And now i am just being ghosted in the same way as Carolyn Holmes has been. We're encouraged to speak up and seek mental health support if we are struggling and this is what we get. Shame on you Chris Picton and your lazy incompetent staff!

Wrote to the minister about my struggles in my mental health and how I couldn't find any supports and services out there. Explained about my nightmare in trying to get help from northern community mental health. The minister did a poor job at looking into this and has since ignored all communications from me, I've tried to follow up 4 times in the last month but zilch. Why I voted Labor I'm questioning

Waiting 12 hours for an ambulance is elder abuse. Not to mention failure to provide due care. Minister do your job and fix it. SaHealth is an oxymoron.
