I was dismissed abruptly and without warning from this practice and only discovered this fact when I called in with an immediate medical problem. The reason being that I had apparently been “rude to the staff”. It turned out this was a problem that I thought had been resolved with the doctor already several visits prior - I had come in almost 15 minutes late for an appointment and was extremely stressed, and the staff at the front argued with me and told me I was more than 15 minutes late and wouldn’t be seen. Their own clock showed I wasn’t more than 15 minutes late. I admit that I was a bit short tempered and could have been a bit more gracious. This entire past year has been traumatic for me, but that doesn’t excuse snapping at people. Snapping is what I did, by the way. I didn’t scream. I didn’t argue excessively. I snapped in a regular volume, and then I left when I was told I wasn’t going to be seen. However, I then wrote about the experience in an online review, which Dr. Holloway felt reflected negatively on him. I feel that patients SHOULD be able to write about their experiences honestly without fearing that the doctor will stop seeing them. A doctor’s office is a business, and while I wasn’t my best self that day (which I FULLY own), neither was Dr. Holloway’s front office staff. My review didn’t reflect negatively on him - his front office staff did, and from reading some of these other reviews, that appears to be a trend this office has had trouble shaking. The fact that this has come back to hurt me months later is really upsetting, especially because it affects my healthcare. All this aside, what is especially hurtful is that Dr. Holloway has been a rock in my care, and it upsets me greatly that something that I thought we had discussed and resolved at previous visits apparently continued behind my back until he dismissed me without discussion at all. I understand that is the doctor’s prerogative to discontinue seeing a patient if he feels the fit is no longer right, but dismissing me as a patient has just struck me as unprofessional and excessive given the efforts I made to be open in discussing and resolving things. In terms of care, Dr. Holloway is a fantastic doctor, the best I’ve had. It will not be easy to find another great doctor in this area, and it in fact took a couple years to even find him. For that reason, I’d recommend him still. However, I still think patients should be able to freely discuss their experiences, have their bad moments, and then apologize and resolve issues and move on with an office even if there’s been that moment of rudeness like I had without fear that they will entirely lose their healthcare provider.

VERY VERY VERY RUDE PHONE STAFF! This Friday April 12th I called to schedule an appointment for my father who has Humana Medicare Advantage PPO. Apparently Dr Holloway does not see patients who carry this insurance anymore. Well someone did not update this information with Humana. I called to schedule the appointment for my father who has Parkinson's but needs a local pcp. First of all she answered the phone like it was her house. I thought i dialed the wrong number. The scheduler would not let me schedule my fathers appointment stating she had to speak to him... which is the most idiotic thing i have heard.It is NOT a Hipaa violation to schedule an appointment for someone hell anybody can schedule an appointment.Especially a new patient. I am also his POA. I allowed her to speak with my father. She(i say she because these people dont say their name when they answer or anything)then told him dr Holloway doesnt take his insurance. For this reason I called Humana they said that is not true. Humana called back with my father and I on 3 way and a male scheduler(also no name given) answered and said we had to speak to the manager and instead just disconnected the call!!!!! I just want to say this. Not only did you lose my fathers business as a patient(because yes healthcare is a business) but you also lost mine and everyone else i know who lives in that area. Since I myself am a certified professional medical coder with 15 years of experience in healthcare in medical reimbursement im going to make sure I share this experience with my colleagues as well. In addition I am also going to report this to CMS, QIO, Jcaho, for delayed patient care. 1 thing is for sure if you schedulers are rude like this I can only imagine the billing practices and everything else.!

I called to make an appointment for my husband. The lady took all of his information and scheduled a time and then proceeded to say that he was not welcomed because he had a no show back in 2018. It is now 2023. We do not remember an appointment or what could have possibly happened for him to miss it. Instead of maybe charging a fee like some offices do, sending new patient documents stating he'll be charged if he does not show again, or even giving a warning, she just blatantly said he was not welcomed with no regard. I already got dismissed as a patient simply because I requested to see Dr. Holloway instead of Jonathan Lee (because I wanted to see an actual doctor and not a nurse practitioner). I had no issues with the nurse. I just simply wanted to see a doctor and because of that Dr. Holloway dismissed me as a patient. I should have known better even attempting to call them for my husband. I didn't have an issue with the actual care I received from the office so I didn't mind for my husband to go here. I also never attended the office enough to have an issue occur. Overall, I dodged a bullet and I suggest you don't even start going here. God forbid you miss an appointment, make a simple request, or give an opinion they'll dismiss you. Go somewhere where you'll be treated like a human and not a disposable piece of trash.

Dr. Holloway was my doctor for years. He is very nice, caring & has great "bedside manor". However the staff is lacking in almost every area. The front does not update files like they should which causes the nurses in the back to have misinformation. I returned a phone call made to my emergency contact & the front desk couldn't tell me why a call was placed to begin with. Turns out I missed an MRI appointment because the staff in the back didn't update my file either until I called back to complain. Well about a week or more of this back and forth with the staff and I finally lost it and raised my voice over their Incompetency, only to get a letter of termination in the mail 3 days later. The total lack of effort the staff puts in is laughable. Not to mention their lack of accountability. If I could I'd give this office half a star.

FIND SOMEONE ELSE!! Was told my "pharmacist is responsible for your medications" uh...no, the doctor prescribing them is. Gave me an rx that made me violently sick from Thanksgiving to Easter. The "office manager" said that was my pharmacists responsibility. I went back to their office 3 times getting sicker & sicker & sicker to the point of 2 bags of saline in office. No guys...YOU were responsible. Have you ever seen a dude thats Stupid & rude whenever he's around he dulls your mood? I know a guy like that girl he thinks he's Gods gift to the world.....you know the kind.

I remain a Dr. Holloway fan, travelling from Clarksville, TN to Tri Star Med Ctr in Antioch for my yearly visit (so far). The new office is nice. The location is surely going to "boom" once the Tanger Outlet Mall is built and all the Multi-family communities being built get occupied. Still enjoy NOT being in the heart of Nashville for my medical needs. The nurses and other staff members were pleasant and accomodating. Did notice that scrubs apparently are not a uniform requirement. Doesn't really matter to me tho. Lab results didn't take but a day or two to receive.

I have been with this practice for over 5 years. NP Lee is the best male Nurse I have ever met. His bedside manners are remarkable. All the staff from office to the back, are extremely caring. My voice matters. When I have concerns about my medical, they listen and find the issue. Dr. Holloway is very knowledgeable. They take their time to listen what I am saying. I get to be in charge of my own medical decisions. They are very supportive. But they alway make sure that it’s the best route to take. I could not ask for any one better.

The receptionist when we check-in is friendly and professional and the nurses are always helpful and friendly. From the first time that I went to see Dr. Holloway I felt like that I had a doctor that cared about me and took the time instead of rushing me out the door. He really listens to me and makes sure that he understands me and yes, most definitely gets me well and if needs to send me to a specialist he most definitely will. I can’t sing his praises enough. If you’re lucky enough to have him as your physician then you’re in the best hands.

I highly recommend Dr. Holloway if you are looking for a primary care physician. I was recommended to him about 6 years ago by a co-worker. It was the best decision ever to start seeing him as my PCP. He is easy to talk with. You have his undivided attention when speaking to him about your medical needs. I have been to a lot of doctors and no one has taken the time to be personally connected with me (and my family) like Dr. Chris. He is thorough and caring and follows up with his patients. It's a drive for us now and it can sometimes take some time to get in to see him - but it is all worth it to our family. We feel blessed he is our doctor!!

Ok, that was a mistake. Lying is not something honourable nor respected. Nor is not stepping up when you make a mistake. A simple apology & a "hey I'll be more careful" would have sufficed, but lying..... intentionally....no, not ever. I expect more from a medical facility. I really do. Recently I was very ill and Dr. Holloway did not quit until he found out the source of my illness and like the snap of a finger I was on the fast track to being well. He's a Godsend to me and my entire family. The entire office is always friendly and professional.
