The office, billing, and office manager cause me to give one star. They are incompetent in their jobs. They have no understanding of how medical insurance works and couldn't even get the correct deductible amount. They kept telling me my deductible was 5000 even after me providing them with the correct information that it was only 2000. They refused me medical care for several months because of a balance. I paid the balance down to less than half of my balance. I only had 112 left and the billing manager told me that I was now able to be seen and since I had 2 insurance policies that they would bill them first then I would pay whatever my portion is after. I get to the office for my appointment and am informed that I must pay my balance and my appointment in full before seeing the doctor. I explained what the billing manager said and the office staff just kept saying there was nothing they could do. I called the office manager and she was no help at all. She kept telling me that my deductible was 5000 for one and 4000 for the other but they are each 2000. We kept going round and round, she even said she was going to go and check. When she called me back she still had the wrong information. They put the bottom dollar above their patients and that is not the kind of doctor we need. I would understand if I owed a whole bunch of money but my total balance never was above 400 and I paid it down to only 112 and yet they wanted more and more. Seems they drove me away on purpose because I am not made of money. I have two insurance policies and that wasn't good enough. The doctor and the staff do not really care about helping their patients. I have never in my life been turned away from a doctors office for having a balance, I have never been required to pay in full upfront having insurance let alone two insurances. My health was compromised while they worried about 112. That is what my life meant to the doctor.

Doc Caulfield and his staff have always been kind, courteous and attentive to the patience needs. He seems like the doctor of days gone past. He actually listens to what you have to say and he does value your input to your healthcare. He asks the right questions for what ever may be your concern. Hes like the old house call doctors. He makes you feel comfortable in the office and he is never in a hurry to get you in and out and move on the the next person. I am glad that my wife and I found him, we both go to him. Our son will also go to him when he becomes of age. No matter the time of day or night, just call the number. You may not get to talk directly to him buy someone will either answer your questions or they will take you message and number and you will be called back by the doctor on call if need be. You cant even get service like that at McDonalds or Wal-Mart. My point is that if your insurance company allows you to see the Health Texas providers, I highly recommend them and especially Doc Caulfield. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the care and the service you get. There is a lot of good things I can say, but with only a limited amount of space available, I just want to say. Give them a try if your able to. I dont think you'll be looking for a different provider for your healthcare needs. Good caring people with taking as good care of you as they possibly can is there intent. We wont go anywhere else. Thank you to Doc Caulfield and ALL the staff there.

First, the office staff is amazing with the exception of the office manager. In attempting to get the office to send a prescription for an urgent med, I found out the true colors of Dr. Caulfield and his office manager, for they both behaved liked jerks. Dr. Caulfield is no leader; he sides with his staff without finding out the details of why a paying customer/patient is angry. In this case, the office manager attempted to throw obstacles in my way of getting the med; he was lazy, accusatory, and arrogant. Dr. Caulfield was the leader and should have found out why I was so upset and smoothed the situation over. Instead, he was dismissive and disrespectful. Since he clearly favors his staff over paying customers, patients ought to find another doctor and let Dr. Caulfield's staff pay his salary. I'll never again have contact with this doctor or the Texas Health Group, who obviously supports Dr. Caulfield's unprofessional behavior.

I've had Dr. Caufield as my primary physician going on 3 years, I believe. He is hands down, the best doctor I've ever had. PA Stacey Ridell is great as well. They LISTEN to what you have to say and I've always felt sincerity, compassion, and genuine caring. Recently, my employer changed our medical coverage and Health Texas, is not currently in-network. I'm so disappointed, our HR is working to see if his team will accept our new insurance plan. I don't want to lose this doctor. I'm seriously considering going to see him, out of network if it's feasible. If you need to find a great doctor....Dr. Caufield and his staff our great people. Hope to get back in the mix with the best doctor in town.

Horrible clinic. They serve mainly low income but are always trying to charge for no show fees even though I called and rescheduled. Billing department never bills my secondary. Office staff is always unpleasant. The location down the street is much more understanding, flexible and caring. Went to another location twice and felt like they were actually listening and cared as opposed to being here for over 5 years and just feel like they are just getting me in and out. Changing doctors asap since I actually haven’t seen my PCP in years they always schedule me with PAs.

I have been seeing Dr. Caulfield for over 3 years and have ALWAYS had excellent customer service from him and his staff. He is very wise, and listens to my health problems and then finds a solution. If my appointment is at 9am, they call me in at 9am, I never have to wait to see him. He is one of the few doctors I see that actually sees you at your appointment time. if you are looking for a high quality primary doctor, look no further, he is the BEST primary care doctor in town in my opinion.

So does discussing one medical issues with people who the patient did not autthoriez constitutes proper protocol?? Because thats what he did to me. Then to make matters worse he goes and fires my mother in law because a review my sister did thinking it was my wife, you would think that after 6 years he would know her name. God forbid you have family members that are concerned and are fed up with the double standard that he practices. We will wait and see what the investigations concludes.

Dr. Caufield, his staff, and Ms. Rydell are fantastic. I have multiple health concerns, and Dr. Caufield's attention to details along with his coordination of care with my specialists is exceptional. If you want a doctor who really listens, cares, and will take the time to arrive at the best treatment for you, then you have found the right doctor.

Dr. Caulfield is kind and patient. His nurses are wonderful too...however it’s the office staff who I’ve had issues with in the past. Seemed like I annoyed them on the phone when trying to make appointments, and were short with me in person. However, his office staff should not be a reflection on the actual doctor. He was great.

Super nice and caring. He was my grandmother's doc before she passed. I recently have had health issues pop up and super committed to finding the root of the issue. Def go to him if you need a doctor. The whole office was super friendly as well. Happy to call him my doctor!

Haven't scheduled an appointment yet but i called to inquire some information and the receptionist Amanda was so helpful and very informative. Dr.Caulfields reputation proceeds him. I hopefully will become a new patient soon once my new insurance kicks in.

Dr. Caulfield is the best PCP I have ever had. He goes above and beyond and listens to his patients. The staff and office manager are amazing as well. I highly recommend this office and Doctor. You won’t be disappointed at all.

Dr. Caulfield always go above and beyond, he has been our PCP during the last 6 years and we were blessed on finding him. His staff is very dedicated, professional, knowledgeable and compassionate, Ms. Fonda is a great nurse!!

Thorough, listens, and genuinely strives for exceptional care. The office staff and nurses are also great to work with. It is blessing to have Dr. Caulfield and his staff in our community.

We love all the staff! Dr. C takes his time with my grandmother and someone is always available for last minute or next day appointments. We never have to wait too long.
