I was at the cineplex on 795 Paramount Dr, Stoney Creek, ON around 12:27pm Nov.17. I went to the counter and wanted to add more money to my current gift card. The attendant asked Laura the Assistant Manager on how to do that. Laura replied back and said that the gift card needs to be emptied in order to add more money. Which i believe to know that is incorrect. So Laura wasn't able to help me, so i thought i go to another of their workers and came across Sukhbir, and i mentioned to him that what i was facing. Sukhbir was surprised on how that i wasn't able to add more money to a gift card. I asked Sukhbir if there is a higher manager i can speak to regarding this matter. He pointed me out to Ryan (manager higher up) i explained to Ryan my situation and he said immediately that it can be done. Ryan and i went to the front counter where Laura was working and Ryan asked on my behalf the same question, Laura repeatedly said that i cannot add more money to a current gift card unless its empty. Ryan said "lets just try" and Laura entered it on the till, and what do you know! it worked!, I said right away, "you all learned something today"..Something simple as adding more money to a gift card should not have taken so much of my time and headache. Laura (so called assistant manager) needs to be retrained and a refresher on customer service.. Thanks to Ryan for at least trying and getting it done. Also thanks to Sukhbir for his kindness.

I just went to the SilverCity Cineplex and was very disappointed with the quality of service and quality control of their food. I ordered a hot dog combo and the dog tasted like it was a hot dog from yesterday. So dry and awful. Also their bun was not fresh at all. Stale. I ordered the hot dog combo and chicken nuggets. Total came out to $31.00. Are you for real Cineplex? I could go next door to Kelsey’s and Montana’s and order a steak dinner for that amount. You guys are gouging the consumer. It’s bad enough to pay the money you charge for a soft drink and no refills. You wonder why your cinemas are not busy at all. Expensive to buy a movie ticket, expense for the snacks, food and drinks and on top of that all you get bad service. Btw, someone from cooperate office needs to go to various locations and see how bad the carpets smell and the conditions of the washrooms. Very disappointing. My wife and I get disgusted with the smell from the carpets and now winter season is upon us. Good luck to you all.

I was told I'd receive a call after 5pm to confirm a bday party I had booked a few weeks ago. That call has yet to come and it's now approaching 9pm here. I've been trying to reach the Vaughan location for almost 2 hours now and not a single person has bothered to pick up the phone!! Now, seats for our movie are filling up quickly, I have a girlfriend who's freaking out, and her daughter is about to have her birthday party ruined. This is unacceptable!! Worst customer service ever. We're planning on just cancelling the party altogether! -_-

Cineplex head office has apparently done away with giving any kinds of warnings and alerts against mobile phone texting during movies.. So, if they are challenging people to watch NETFLIX and DISNEY, comfortably and cheaper instead, then you win cineplex. I'm not going to movie theaters anymore because of your cheap and atrocious movie experience policies.

Guys. No one likes 3D movies. You know it, I know it, even Stevie Wonder knows it. I understand you are in it to make money but if you could maybe get creative instead of just charging a premium on 90% of your showings it would be greatly appreciated. Too many commercials. Sure, run 30 minutes of commercials before scheduled start time....that's fine, but then another 20 minutes after scheduled time? Sorry, I'm done with cineplex and silver city. I was enraged, the whole theatre was enraged. Destroyed the movie before it even started.

Just got off a call with customer service and I wont blame their policies but their customer service at 8am in the morning was very poor. I would ask different questions but I would receive a block of text which was repeated another 2 times after 1st one throughout my questions.

Do NOT get a job at all at this place. This is the head office of Cineplex Entertainment and their hiring process and their training is trash. I was let go there because "I was not the best fit." Well it was because their training is bad

I am deeply disappointed in Cineplex for providing a platform for propaganda in the form of the movie 'Unplanned' that will be potentially harmful to the rights of Canadian woman.

$6 fee to buy tickets online for my family to go to a movie on a website that can't even accept more than one gift card at a time. What a joke.

Staff working at the popcorn section @1303 Yonge St. are super lazy and unprofessional. I highly have hygiene concerns regarding this place.

Nice location and quite a few theatres. Very much like many of the Cineplex's across Toronto. Has VIP seating theatres as well.

Place show movie timing but it is a corporation building so public cannot go and see movies there
